I have been working with Dermot for almost 10 years now. What I have liked about his style and way of working is

a) He does not over commit. He set the right level of expectation for the returns on the investment. He also does not over sell . He gives you your space to think and decide and patiently addresses your queries and concerns.

b) He follows up regularly. Even when things are running fine, he takes the effort to reach out and ensure that any queries/issues are sorted

c) He addresses your concerns quickly and decisively. Example: During one of the market fluctuations, I was concerned if the portfolio is too conservative - He immediately worked out the details of the current portfolio with comparisons and what are the pros and cons to help me make a decision in 2 days. If he cannot address a query he ensures that you are directed to the right person and follows up to see that your concern was satisfactorily addressed.
