I bought the Kamrette Lyra camera backpack about five years ago. For most of that time, it was barely used, and I’ve only been actively using it for the past two years.
The design is genuinely good — it has plenty of well-thought-out pockets, and it doesn’t scream “camera bag,” which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The quality is extremely disappointing. The material started peeling just last year, and now the bag looks terrible. For a backpack at this price point, the build quality should be far better. What’s worse is that it hasn’t even seen heavy use.
Now I’m left with no choice but to throw it away. Sustainability is often cited as a benefit of vegan leather, but this experience feels like the opposite — I’m discarding a product that isn’t even recyclable.
Save your money. I wouldn’t recommend this bag to anyone.

Unfortunately the faux leather has almost completely peeled off after just a few years of using (and I don't take the bag very far either!). It's a shame as I did love the bag at the start. I wouldn't recommend purchasing unless the manufactures can use a more durable material like real leather (which I'd be happy to pay more for!).

These have honestly been the best bags! I had the bigger one for a few years now and I loved it so much I ended up getting the smaller one as well. I use the bigger one more for weddings and traveling, while the smaller one has been perfect for when I'm in studio and shooting content. I'm obsessed and am always recommending to my photographer friends!

I don’t know if I was extremely unlucky or if the quality of your products is really poor, but I’ve had my bag for three years, and I barely use it because I’m not currently working full-time as a photographer. I want to make it very clear that I take extremely good care of my equipment.

The first issue happened when one of the decorative pins on the top handle fell off. That wasn’t a big deal, and I even reached out to you a few months ago about it. You were very responsive and kindly sent me a replacement, even though I had owned the bag for years. I really appreciated that.

However, I never expected what happened today. As I was getting into my car, the zipper track completely failed, and the bag opened entirely. One of the zippers came off the track, and I was in shock watching all of my gear hit the ground. I had two cameras, two lenses, and a flash inside. Unfortunately, one of my cameras is now broken, and I’m still assessing if there’s further damage.

I was able to put the zipper back in place, but I absolutely do not trust using this bag anymore. A bag this expensive should not fall apart in just three years, especially with minimal use and proper care. It has never been exposed to extreme heat or cold, and I have always handled it with care. This situation has caused me a financial loss, and I am beyond frustrated.

I do really like my bag. It's super cute and doesn't look like a camera bag so I feel safe carrying it. Holds way more than it looks like it would. Lower stars because of the shipping cost (I got slammed with duty charges), discomfort to carry, and because the leather has already worn off in one spot and it's only been one month of use.

Ich habe mir den Mina Daypack bestellt. Wirklich wunderschöner Fotorucksack, der nicht nach Kameratasche aussieht. Er ist klein, süß, praktisch und bequem. Ich habe mein Equipment kaum gespürt beim transportieren.
Zum Rucksack: Es gibt zwei kleine Aussenfächer mit Reisverschluss: gut für Brille, Desinfektionsmittel, Handy, Schlüssel, Handcreme etc. alles was schnell erreichbar sein muss. Daneben gibt es zwei kleine Seitentaschen in Handygröße und Form, darin verstaue ich bspw. Taschentücher.
Hinten am Rücken ist eine Halterung für den Trolli, was perfekt für Reisen ist.
Im Inneren gibt es Platz für die Kamera, den kann man beliebig aufteilen wie man will. Dazu gibt es ein iPad-Fach und ein weiteres Reisverschluss Fach (in diesem Verstaue ich bspw. Zweitakkus, Speicher).

Die Lieferung kam, dafür dass sie aus Australien kommt, sehr schnell an.
Man muss aber damit rechnen, dass zusätzlich zu den hohen Shipping Kosten der gleiche Betrag nochmal als Zollgebühren gezahlt werden muss. Das geht aber sehr bequem, da DHL dafür eine E-Mail mit Link zur Bezahlung schickt.
