Gold over stainless steel

About 3 years ago I bought some earrings that were supposedly 18k gold over silver. After a couple years the gold started to come off. Because of that I took them with a bunch of other silver to a jeweler who buys silver. He said he would take all of my silver except the earrings. He said the material under the gold was stainless steel. I've never bought a gold over silver from them again.

Well I’ve shopped JTV for 15 years with…

Well I’ve shopped JTV for 15 years with a couple different phone numbers. At first it was so easy to do this. Now however it’s more difficult to shop. Asian reps are not very knowledgeable and items are oversold at times. The customer care reps can be unsatisfactory when you can get through to a live person. I have a lot of beautiful items from JTV. The hosts are very good. My suggestion is to bring back more in-house call representatives. Also the cost to return items is very costly. Especially when ordering 2 or more of the same item numbers. Thank you.

DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES

DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES, I returned 3 items, defective to match. 10/14/24 still no refund for LOST PACKAGE POLICIES! 15 days as 5 csr told me. Have USPS receipt, went to post office and supervisor explaining they have 3rd party delivery vendors who actually transport packages back/forth for USPS. So a bin is on loading docks and drivers from any company has access 24/7 for packages to many shopping channels!!! All this was shocking to say the least!
$494.30 & $426.60 are STILL NOT REFUNDED after 16 calls, emails and still keep pointing fingers at me, Post office. I used their label and they are filing lost package claims BUT NOT REFUNDED ME!! LEGAL ACTIONS WILL PREVAIL!

DON'T SHOP WITH JTV EVER, HEED ALL REVIEWS, I WISH I HAD!!!

I ordered 3 pairs of moissanite…

I ordered 3 pairs of moissanite earrings in a small leather case for Xmas on the 2d of Nov. JTV has called me 2-3 times refusing to send it to my friend at another address. I'm paying for them. I even told customer service to bill me the entire amount, and they still won't do it. I'm tired of the phone calls. I've been a customer for over 20 years and am VERY TIRED of being treated like some kind of criminal. I cancelled the order, requested my money be refunded, and closed my account. They are getting WORSE not better.

Only slightly better than bubble gum jewelry

I bought a three stone ring from jtv. A stone fell out within a few days. I sent it back to be repaired. They replaced the stone and returned it to me. A different stone fell out! Now I have a two stone ring that I can't wear. On a different occasion I bought a different ring for a family member. In a few days, one of the stones fell out. Their jewelry is horrible! I saw one of the sales people on air the other day holding a flashlight behind one of their sapphires so that the color might appear brighter. Do you think I'm going to carry a flashlight around if I bought that crummy ring? Sapphires from Thailand are dark. Their jewelry always appears bigger and brighter with a better saturation of color than what you get. Read your customer reviews, jtv! Plus, how many different types of lab created diamonds can you sell? Every sales person claims to have one of everything they sell. Of course, they will tell you that they had to spend so much more. Their shows are laughable.

Buyer BEWARE false advertising

Ordered beads that were so unlike the sample shown on TV, extremely disappointing, ordered from Canada, exchange makes the price high plus surcharge on shipping PLUS Canada Customs extortion. All for beads that were not even so-so. Dyed Ethiopian opals supossedly assorted colours. Not. Only green and white. Not a single red yellow pink purple or blue SHAME on JTV..Rip off.

This review is about the brilliant cash I received. An absolute horrible experience trying to use it. From not being able to applying the cash to having customer service tell me that my 25.00 dollar off coupon is not vaild because I am using a live agent. I have blocked and never use this company because of that reason

I have been shopping with JTV for five…

I have been shopping with JTV for five years and am satisfied with all my purchases. I enjoy watching JTV daily and think the male and female hosts are very professional and polite. JTV has some of the best jewelry on the market at affordable rates. Their customer service department is very professional and dedicated to helping people. As a rule, I only buy my jewelry from JTV. I only have good things to say about JTV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great eye candy channel, therapeutic, an escape.

The hosts and customer service personnel are wonderful. If you watch the channel frequently you can get some very nice purchases. I have been watching JTV for 11 years. The educational aspect has been invaluable.

Mixed Review

Heres my experience with JTV. I'm overall happy with JTV with the exceptions of a few incidents I encountered. First the positives. They have high end jelwery that I cannot ever afford, so I am not speaking about jewlery over the $500 mark. Most of the jewlery I get is under the $150 mark (JTV sale prices and Super Buys). At the office, I like to wear nice jewlery. I had worn jewlery from Kohl's and Macy's for years, but it's mostly junk. For the same price, you get a little bit better quality with JTV. I've gotten some rings where yes, as soon as the 30 day return policy passes, a stone falls out, but so far that's only happened with one ring. If you're not paying high end jewlery prices, do not expect high end stones. But still, what I have gotten I am pretty pleased with. I've also noticed, for some reason, some of the jewlery I've gotten looked dull. I got some jewlery cleaner and lo and behold, once cleaned the pieces sparkle. So, if you want office jewlery that doesn't make you a mark for a theft on the streets, or if you lose something, you're not losing out much. I haven't lost anything, yet. But I've had some prices for years and they're fine. Now. The reason for the 3 stars and not 5. Their contests are rigged. I have to say that because of how one can enter. And I have tried many times talking with customer service to have it corrected to no avail. To enter the contests, they say you have to log onto JTV Live on FB, or call the order line and you'll automatically be entered. I've called 4 times just to enter the contest, as instructed and was denied by the customer service agent from entering. Your supposed to be allowed to enter by calling not buying anything, but if you don't buy anything, customer service on the phone denies your entry and then when escalating the call to a manager to read an email from their own team saying I don't have to buy anything, will take 20 minutes on hold. For the Facebook end, I cannot have a Facebook account. I worked for the jail system and for safety reasons, I cannot have my name and location made public. So right now, there is no way to enter a contest. You can't even be entered when you buy online either for some reason. I do not like to call to order because the person who answers may be very hard to understand, and buying online sometimes offers additional discounts. So my advice is to don't waste your time entering in contests. I firmly believe the contests are fixed for customer services family and friend to win cause it's the customer service folks on shift who gets to decide to win. And I've also been entering in the sweepstakes almost everyday for months and get nothing. But really, I don't care about not winning. But JTV doesn't even allow me to enter to get a chance. Back to the jewlery part, just don't expect a $100 ring to be like a $1k ring. If that is what you are wanting, high end jewlery at po folk prices, it ain't gonna happen. But for office jewlery it's a great option. And value I have to say.

A worm in a ring box

This is not a jewelry review it’s a strange review. My wife has been watching Jtv for years. Also have ordered a number of items. Last night she thought she would look at some of the rings she got. And to her surprise when she opened the box under the packing foam that the ring is mounted in there was a worm that was under the foam. She keeps all her rings in a special box I got for her so I know it had to have come from Jtv. So when you get rings check the box to see if there is a worm in your box.

I tried to give 0 stars but won’t let me. I ordered earrings 2 months ago and never received them and my sons wedding has past and ended up having to go to Macys and Tjmaxx so I had something to wear and still haven’t received them. My daughter emailed and they never responded

Jtv does not sell solid platineve, they use it as a coating only…

Watch out for scams on Jtv.com looking at jewelry this evening and I was looking at a moissanite ring and necklace set and it clearly states the following
Material-Platineve®
Material-Color-White
Density-Solid
but the necklace picture shows 925 which means it is silver. They do not sell solid platineve, it's just a coating. (Platineve is gold and platinum metal mix).

This company just tried to use my credit card. I have an alert on it and was noticed someone used my card to purchase 2 items. Is my information unprotected.

This company just I gave my information to used my credit card to purchase 2 items that I did not order. Someone just committed fraud. Thank heavens I have an alert on my credit card.. they charged 559.00 US dollars on my card. Fraudulent. In the USA and charged to CANADA.

RUN AWAY FROM JTV!!!

I have been a customer of JTV since 1998. Until last year, everything I have ordered from them was exceptionally excellent! I just discovered that these charlatans, rogues, scoundrels, & thieves have been cheating me! On June 09, 2024, I saw a 14.71ctw Chrome Diopside necklace that I had had my eye on for at least a year on sale for $150.03! It had been listed for $189.99 for the longest time, and the necklace had even gone up to JTV's retail price of $541.99 for a week, or so. At $150.03 (odd number right ~ that's how I remembered that fabulously low price, & my OCD highlights numbers in my brain) I grabbed it, knowing that $150.03 was going to be JTV's rock bottom price for this fabulous necklace & all orders over $75 are free shipping, too, & I opted for stretch pay ~ 5X StretchPay (5 payments, no interest, a 1/5 payment every 2 weeks) Mazel tov 🥂 NOT💥 Last Friday, July 26, 2024, I was going over my finances, and I discovered upon checking up on my order history at JTV . com, that my fabulously low price of $150.03 had been increased to 195.12 which includes $4.99 for the shipping cost!

Disappointing and unreliable information

I called to purchase a bracelet advertised for $99.99 and free shipping. The price ordering it online was different so I called in. Turns out the one in gold color is $119.99 and I have to pay for shipping and tax of course. I had to convince the operator that I was watching it as we spoke and the price stated was $99.99 but her computer didn’t agree so I had no other option than to pay the higher price and shipping. Ridiculous. It took 25 minutes on the phone just to complete one order. If I hadn’t really wanted it, all the misrepresentation, would have made me just not get it. Very disappointing, I doubt I’ll ever order anything from jtv again.

I had a bad experience with this…

I had a bad experience with this company. I ordered beads which were on sale and for some reason the shipment was returned to company enroute to me. It took me over a month to receive credit and then it was discounted $30.00 and removed from my account (I was charged 59.00 for the beads but received a 29.00 credit). I will pay them in full and not give my business to them. They are not trust worthy.
