I purchased a dedicated server from…

I purchased a dedicated server from them then realised there was no access to reinstall the server's OS, shutdown, restart anything I did not have access. I only had access to SSH I was not happy about this from the start and then there were issues with my website loading someone elses website instead of my website when I tried to visit my website. I can't login to my server and I have contacted their live chat support about this and other things and they are so rude and they have no respect for me even though I was provided the most respect from the start, they also have bad grammar at times. I am fed up, I requested a refund and was declined, I was persuaded to close the paypal dispute and they will fix all my issues quickly, still waiting 5 days later for all these issues to be resolved. I will be going further with this if I don't hear back with a refund.

Hi,

You purchased an unmanaged dedicated server. As we clearly mention, unmanaged/self-managed means you are responsible for the server.

1) We fully refunded your service as a gesture of goodwill, even though dedicated servers do not come with a money back guarantee
2) You pointed the domain to a third party IP address which is why it was showing a different website
3) You then opened a Paypal dispute and closed it when you accepted you'd make this error
4) You uninstalled SSH from the server then couldn't log in. We reinstalled the server free of charge for you
5) We offered our fully managed service as well as cPanel to help you manage the server several times, which you declined

I am sorry that our service did not work out. It is clear that we're not a fit for your needs, and we wish you the best of luck finding a suitable product and service provider.

Excellent customer service. Even complex issues I have are solved quickly by the online chat team.As a result, I would highly recommend them as a web hosting provider.

Responsive customer service

I've been using Jolt for my hosting for a few years now, but decided to add a review following my recent experience migrating my email system over to Gmail. The team were responsive as always, and the problem I was scratching my head about for good while, was sorted within a short time frame.

I moved to Jolt in early 2019 from another large hosting company. The free migration service made the whole process incredibly easy and with a fantastic 24/7 support team, I wish I'd found Jolt years ago!

I've been with Jolt for about 5 years…

EDIT 24th January 2020 - I've just been notified that prices on reseller accounts are going up by nearly 100%, apparently due to cPanel changing their pricing structure. This makes Jolt very uncompetitive compared with other hosting companies. I have subsequently moved my reseller account to zFast.

I've been with Jolt for about 5 years now and it is a pleasure to work with this company.
Support is very fast, usually within 20 minutes of a ticket being raised.
The uptime is as near as 100% as is possible and their services are very reasonable priced.
I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Jolt, and I'm glad I chose them.

Having signed up for Reseller Hosting…

Having signed up for Reseller Hosting from this company, I am more than disappointed. This is for several reasons;

* They claim to be a UK-based company but are in fact in the Ukraine.
* Their 24/7 Live Chat and support has been offline for the majority of the weekend and overnight.
* When you manage to speak to live chat they are not much use.
* Their servers are poorly configured and when provided with evidence they simply blame the customer.
* Over 12 hours to respond to a 'missing critical' ticket is utterly unacceptable.
* I paid for a dedicated IP address that was never provided.

I have since made a claim on their 'Money Back Guarantee' - so I'll wait for a refund.

Excellent technical support

Jolt have hosted client sites on a reseller package for me since 2015 and I was with Webhostingbuzz before that.

I have always found their support excellent and speedy and their staff knowledgeable.

I can heartily recommend them.

I cant fault Jolt at all

I cant fault Jolt at all. I moved from Heart Internet as I was having massive issues. Jolt managed to solve all of these and put my mind at rest. I have been with them for 3 years now and everything is fine. What sets them apart from the rest is the instant chat support. No more waiting around for tickets to be answered. Instant help when you need it. Thanks guys.

Jolt is a customer service oriented company

Though I have had two policy and billing issues with them recently they promptly made an effort to remedy both situations and were very polite and helpful with their customer service... which shows me that I, as a customer, matter to them. I would definitely recommend Jolt if you are looking for a service provider.

I have been using Jolt to host my domains for a number of years (using a reseller account). Had very few issues, uptime has been great.
Where there has been an issue, it has either resolved itself quickly, or the customer support team has been able to help.
Perfect for my needs

Jolt have hosted our site for a number of years. Support is fast, friendly and helpful. Uptime is more than the 99.9% they advertise, I can count the number of issues we have had over the years on 1 hand.

Coming from other UK hosting this is a breath of fresh air.

this is trully the worse ever hosting…

this is trully the worse ever hosting company i have ever come across, believe me, i've come across a few bad apples, i fell for a deal i thought was too good to be true, so i asked them about it, they said it was a fantastic deal and that i should go for it, i went for a walk, and when i came back i ordered, but after payment i realised that the offer was not included, also service did not start straight away as i was lead to believe, when it started i notice a few more issues, i thought i will give them a chance, but as about 95% of the answers i was getting from support wasn't adding up, i dicided to not wait any longer but ask about the offer that i did not receive with my order, thier response was that it ended over 3months ago so i won't get it, i was taken aback by that, i told them i was assured that it was true and that i should order to claim it, the response came back again that the offer was no longer available that i wont get it, even when i told them that i had screen prints of everything and that i will report it to trading standards and asa, they still claimed that it ended 3 months ago and that i won't get it, so i've reported it to asa, and i advice everyone to report them to asa and trading standard, i will be reporting to trading standard and cab in the morning, even now the still have the link on their site to con more people into bying.
EVERYONE, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND WARN EVERYONE ELSE ABOUT THIS SCAMMERS

i received an apology from the company earlier today by email from Dennis S.Billing Team saying it was an oversight and that the tech department didn't know about the deal, now a few hours later, i've received another email from someone named Irina Leyba( does not say what department) trying to pull a fast one again even after all this evendence i've shown them, honestly. is this company incompetent or just fraudulent?
In reply to a team made a mistake, it's worse than a mistake, if you still can't see that, then you are worse than I thought,faulty towers springs to mind

The perfect Web hosting provider for me.

I've been using Jolt hosting for almost 2 years now and all I can say is that I am very satisfied with the performance and specially the friendly tech support that helped me with my questions and requests.

So far, I haven't experienced any downtime and problems, maybe because I don't usually check my website 24 hours a day but based on my website monitoring program, all looks well.

The tech support is one of the highlights for me as they really helped me transfer all my big websites from my old web hosting to Jolt. It was a successful transfer and I was very happy.

I would gladly recommend Jolt hosting to my friends and to new business man that are searching for a reliable web hosting.

Happy with Jolt. I have been using Jolt for many years, including it's previous incarnation. I have had a few problems, all caused by me. They have always helped me sort them out. I am on the lowest cost subscription, but they still respond very quickly.
