Excellent treatment for shoulder and sciatic pain in a relaxed atmosphere.

I have suffered with a severe movement restriction for a number of years. I have been to see a number of medical professionals over the years, sadly with no improvement in the condition.

Following a recommendation from a relative I went to see Ram at Joint Care Clinics. I am so glad I did. The improvement in my condition has been nothing short of staggering, it has genuinely transformed my daily life.

The care, sympathy and stunning medical treatment I have received have been nothing short of first class. I would without any hesitation recommend Joint Care Clinics should you require professional care that falls under their remit. I can say honestly, their care can be absolutely life changing.

I suddenly hurt my back due to vigorous digging! The pain was severe and I could barely move nor lift the lightest thing. I was screaming aloud every time I did movement.
I found Joint Care Clinic on line. I was given an appointment on the very same day of my call as I was desperate. I visited the Leicester branch ( Severn clinic in the Oadby area )
I was seen by specialist Ramakrishna Rachaputi. On arrival at the clinic I was impressed at the hygiene standard as this is the first thing I normally notice due to my ocd. I was talked through everything step by step and examined. I was given an injection in the area the pain was. I left the clinic feeling very satisfied with the service but still in pain. Exactly one week later I am now totally pain free! I am really satisfied and would highly recommend this treatment. I actually thought it will not heal as I was in total agony! but I was impressed with the express results.

Dr Ram was extremely diligent and precise. He explains every step of the process and takes great care to ensure that the treatment is comfortable and safe.
I’m not squeamish which helps but I had no pain at all.
Golfers elbow is very difficult to treat so I’m hoping the greater precision of injections will work so long as I’m patient and protective of the joint.

I found Dr Ram to be incredibly respectful of my condition along with first class treatment and a great outcome. Couldn’t ask for a better experience

Mrs Lynn Brown. I recently visited the clinic in Jesmond Newcastle for treatment by Dr. Ram. Good directions provided by the Doctor brought us to the clinic. Very impressed by the cleanliness and facilities available. Dr Ram was very thorough in explaining the proposed treatment to ensure I was comfortable with all aspects. He then provided anaesthetic to the right knee joint, drained excess fluid and proceeded with corrective procedure. After checking I was comfortable, he carried out the same procedure on the left knee. At no time did I experience any pain or discomfort. His manner is very caring and comforting.
Since the procedure last week, Dr Ram has followed up to check on progress and assured me he is available if I have any concerns or discomfort.

At age 68 I developed pain in my left ankle over two years ago and an x-ray confirmed that I had arthritis in that joint describing advanced degenerative changes to my ankle. A course of Physiotherapy involving exercises provided some help but I was continuing to experience pain and discomfort when walking any distance and even getting up stairs. Having put off considering Steroid injections as a treatment by the NHS last year I contacted the Joint Care Clinic in Oadby recently and spoke to Ramakrishna and made an appointment for Assessment. My contact with Ramakrishna was a really positive experience my ankle joint was examined using ultrasound the problem area identified and following a thorough discussion a targeted injection of Cortisone and anaesthetic was given. I would have no hesitation in consulting Ramakrishna and the Clinic again in the future.

After speaking with Ram, I was impressed by his understanding and empathy with regard to my condition. He listened, REALLY listened. I booked an appointment with him and he gave me Ostenil + injections in my knees. At each stage of the process he took the time to explain what was happening and why. I am so glad to have found a genuine, caring, practitioner. He has a calm, confident manner that puts you at ease. So far, the injections have been a success and I will return to Ram when I need to, as I have faith in him and trust in his abilities to give me the best advice and treatment. I visited the JCC and was seen by ram. I had been suffering from long term lower back pain. Tan was very thorough with his preliminary examination and also reviewed the notes from my doctor.

He explained the procedure for administering steroid injections and we discussed all the relative risk. He was very considerate when it came to doing the injections, making sure I knew what he was doing all the way. Afterwards he showed me the ultrasound images of where the needle entered my sacroiliac joints.

It was pain free and I was able to drive home straight after. It took a couple of days to kick in but eased the pain. Due to the severity of my pain a revisited ram 4 months later for a second course of steroid injections. I am now two weeks on and it feels really great to be able to resume normal life again, pain free

I went to see Mr Ramakrishna Rachaputi initially looking for some temporary pain relief for (post MRI) meniscus tears and quite a bit of wear and tear in my knees (ageing Mountain Guide!) He was extremely clear and measured in his advice and explained in detail what the procedure would be and how it could potentially improve things. He was very balanced and honest in his advice. I had both knees, expertly treated, and have had (3 weeks later) frankly remarkable improvements. I’m very grateful, will I’m sure see him again and have no hesitation recommending him.

Attended the clinic in Coventry . Was seen by Mr Ramakrishna Rachaputi. He was professional polite and his humour instantly put you in a relaxed state of mind . We were well informed and impressed with his treatment . We will be attending again . I would highly recommend him .

I have been suffering with shoulder pain for 15 months following a bicycle accident and approached the Joint Care Clinic for ultrasound guided injection therapy as a way to return to my preferred sport of ergometer rowing. My initial telephone call with Ram was reassuringly positive as were the follow up text messages. I had an appointment in Oadby which consisted of an in-depth interview of my relevant medical history, together with a detailed explanation of the three processes which were available to me. The initial ultrasound examination (to locate the source of my problems and to identify the pin-point area into which the injection would be made) lasted an hour. The actual injections were an additional 30 minutes. I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the technician (Ram) and with the unhurried, detailed procedure. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever of recommending Ram and the Joint Care Clinic. I have, in fact, booked a second procedure to address pain in my left wrist and hand.

Ram was very experienced and professional, but also showed great empathy for my situation. I always felt to be in good hands and at ease. He was very accommodating with the appointments, which took between 60 and 90 min. He gave me hydrodistention treatments for both of my frozen shoulders at a very fair price. Actually, it was the best money I have ever spent. The injections reduced the pain greatly and this made a huge difference in my quality of life, having been in constant pain for over a year. They also helped with the range of movement, which is nearly back to normal for my left shoulder and still improving for my right one, which was a very severe case. I just wished I would have come across him earlier. I am very grateful for his help and can highly recommend him.

After suffering with low back pain for over three years and no interest from my GP , telling me I had wear and tear at 31 ! I got in contact with Ram about a sacroiliac joint injection and could not have made a better decision to have this done by him. The service was thorough and fantastic. After 2 years of suffering from a shoulder problem that included 2 steroid injections and 2 ultrasound scans through the NHS that didn’t find the cause of the pain, I was finally referred to Ram for a further scan. I’ve had pain in my elbow on and off for 18 months. My doctors didn’t seem that interested when I went with my symptoms.
A month ago my elbow was in agony, you could just brush past it and I would flinch in pain.
As my doctors were useless I decided to do my research and I found Ram.

Although the news wasn’t great, throughout the examination Ram was so professional, really taking his time, making sure nothing was missed, and describing his viewings whilst watching the monitor.
After some treatment and having an ultrasound guided steroid injection, I had instant relief and I am still pain free after a month.

I first went to see Ram in January 2020 with ball of foot pain. He took a lot of care to diagnose the problem and then gave me an injection to relieve the pain. This worked extremely well and I have just been for my second visit after 7 months for a top up. I have never been given this much relief when I visited my previous consultant. Ram treated me for an acutely painful shoulder injury sustained in a fall some months previously. He was meticulous in tracing the history of my injury and describing his diagnosis and proposed course of treatment. At every stage from diagnosis to Ultrasound to injections he was caring, sensitive and gentle, constantly checking that I was comfortable with the treatment being described and administered. Throughout, his attention to hygiene was exemplary.
The entire experience was professional and administered by a highly trained Practitioner. He even followed it up with a couple of e-mails checking my progress.
