Terrible service
I had a broken door catch on a dishwasher, they took £72 up front, that was 4 months ago, three turn outs, lots rescheduled and its still not fixed. The last "engineer" removed all the cleaning products from under my sin, left them all over the floor in front of the fridge, then told me that i needed to get a plumber for a broken ball valve, that was now flooding the kitchen tiles, it wasn't like that before and not good as I am on two crutches following double hip replacement. I have left messages for a call back, not had one, tried to ring on several occasions, I might as well have tried to ring the moon! They never answer and your just left listening to list music for ages. All over one little plastic peg and they cant manage that.

Booked and paid £135 for an oven repair on 7th September. Repair man came out 3 days later to investigate. No contact since, no replies to emails, I call them up and get cut off constantly. Currently on day 42 without an oven and £135 down. Do not use this company.

We used to use JK domestics for all our repairs but recently I was only offered a 3 month warranty on a new part whereas every supplier I can source the same exact new part offers 12 months warranty. Refused to increase the 3 month warranty so now using a different supplier

Great friendly service.
My washer dryer repair was allocated to JK Domestics by Domestic and General and I couldn't be happier with the service received.
I was kept up to date prior to my appointment at all times, with my slot being allocated the day before.
The polite young engineer (sorry, didn't catch his name), attended on time, identified the source of the leak quickly, and was able to fix it on his first visit, whilst also spotting a further repair needed.
I couldn't be happier, thank you.

Rubbish and more rubbish
Rubbish. Not answering the phone. Hung up on me and cancelled appointment. No call back. I now have a local firm sorting the problem out. Total rubbish do not go near this firm

Dreadfull service
Dreadfull service , they arrived to fix my Samsung fridge freezer, threw a few parts in , left my home with the appliance making a noice and will not reach the correct temp to keep my insulin in the fridge ,
The engineer said it will fix itself over a 24 hour period just don't use it ! I've tried calling , 15 times infact , they will not respond , I'm devastated!

I have had this misfortune of having JK Domestics approved to repair my Smeg oven.
They came last Thursday and despite having sent them the model, serial number and description of the fault, they came with the wrong part and tried blaming the fault description, “I’m not an engineer but, if the ovens not getting hot there’s a good chance it will be the element???” I will see if we have one when I get back? I was told, someone will let you know I was told (don’t hold your breath)
I rang them on Monday afternoon as no one had been in touch and was told that the part had just come in and the earliest they could come was Wednesday
When I asked WHY no one rang me on Friday to tell me they were ordering the part and that they wouldn’t be coming on Monday as the engineer had suggested I was asked do you want us to come on Wednesday or not (absolutely fuming now) of course I do, ok thank you bye was the response, the whole experience has been SO UNPROFESSIONAL
It’s now Wednesday and I am still waiting, they still haven’t sent me confirmation they are coming and I’m not in the least convinced they will turn up.
I certainly could not recommend them to you

No communication between engineers and team mates. An engineer came out few Tuesdays back but for some reason the part was ordered on Friday despite me calling up everyday. Why take so long?When speaking to team members they didn't seem to bothered with my concerns or complaint. They kept passing me on to different people.
They have come out now to fix the problem but still really angry about the service I have received from them which took just less then 2 weeks to fix.Domestic and General is as useless.
Issues with the extended warranty team, but superb service from Jk Domestics. Highly recommended
Absolutely shocking service, booked a repair 12 days ago. I waited in all day and no engineer turned up. When I rang they said they had no contact details for me . They then wanted to rearrange for the following Tuesday leaving me 18 days without an oven. A full day wasted and and shocking customer service. The issue has been resolved now, it's a shame I had to complain on here for something to be done though.
Following our telephone conversation with the engineers today. They had our issue resolved within half an hour. The fault lay with the extended warranty team and not Jk Domestics.
The lady at Jk Domestics indeed did do as she said and resolved our issues and an engineer was with us within 30 minutes and had the cooker fixed. So s huge thank you to Jk Domestics for resolving our issue and complaint.
Shame on the extended warranty team but big thanks to Jk Domestics, cannot fault their service and resolution... Spot on.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
Absolutely shocking service. My dishwasher broke so I called to get an engineer out to fix it. The engineer came within a few days and told me that the pump was faulty and we needed to order a new one. I then paid the £78 charge for call out and was called a week later to pay for the new pump over the phone. I did and then nothing. No communication for 2 weeks. I called to ask when the part would be in stock and was spoken to very rudely by a guy who told me that I wasn't to call for an update they would call me. I later told him that I had paid for the part so it was my right to call and enquire. He then told me the part would arrive Friday. Friday came and went and no one called. I phone on the Monday and enquired again. I was then told the pump was on back stock and would arrive the following Friday. I waited and Friday came and went AGAIN with no call. I called this time very frustrated on the Monday and was told AGAIN that the pump would arrive on Friday, I then asked to speak to the manager who looked into the matter and managed to get a pump to me and fitted on the Friday. The engineer came and fitted the pump but this did not fix the dishwasher and he advised a senior engineer would need to come out to look at the job. 2 more weeks past and an engineer was then booked to come out to the job. I received a text message on the Wednesday to advise that the engineer would be with me the following day only to get a call on the day that the engineer would need to re arrange and come on the Friday. I called the office and spoke to someone who said that the engineer was never booked in for Thursday.
I'm currently writing this as the engineer has just left my house so all fresh in mind. I have waited over 2 months for a working dishwasher. Over these last 2 months I have taken several holidays from work to be in when the engineer arrived and have only been greeted by rude ignorant people when phoning the general office number. I warn everyone who is thinking of using this company to not, as its a total waste of time. I will be passing on my story to friends and family in the hope that others don't have to go through a similar process.
Appliance repair
Engaged JK Domestics to fix a fridge freezer early December 2019. By the 17th Feb after paying them £300, our appliance was still not working.
What JK Domestics are good at is excuses as to why they haven’t called you back or why parts haven’t turned up, or why people from other companies being off sick mean they cannot proceed with your job.
We did end up with a £250 refund, but they refused to refund £48 of the call out charge. So we basically paid for an engineer to tell us it was broken. We already knew that!
They did say that the charge was to cover the inspection report. I’ve asked for a copy of this inspection report, JK Domestics promised to send this inspection report, but like most promises they made, they didn’t deliver.
