Genius product, amazing service

Quite apart from the genius of this method of providing underfloor heating, laying the pipe directly into the existing floor, I was very impressed by the whole process, from quotation to specification and on to installation.
My thanks to Courtney, Josh and Lewis for the support through sales and specification and to Cam, Jonny and Steve for outstanding work on the day and for leaving the house so clean behind them.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Professional quotation and design team, followed by very knowledgeable and friendly fitters who were efficient. Overall I'd be delighted to recommend this organisation for anybody interested in underfloor heating.

Excellent process

Excellent process - clear quote, gave me lots of information on the system and why it works on uninsulated slabs (now it's in I can confirm it works a treat), prior to installation I had really good support from the team as there was an issue with the manifold and they were able to work it out. The installation went really well, two young guys who were brilliant worked quickly, left the place as they arrived. Worked well with my heating engineer.

I’ve just had my underfloor heating installation completed by Charlie and Guy from JK Floor Heating Ltd in High Wycombe, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish they were quick, tidy, and extremely efficient. Their workmanship is excellent, and they kept everything clean and organised throughout the job.

What really stood out was how genuine and friendly they both were. They’re not just skilled at what they do—they’re truly nice lads who take pride in their work and make the whole experience easy and stress-free.

Highly recommended! Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Terrible customer service and poor workmanship

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. The customer service was poor from the start, and when the team leader arrived on-site, they were both rude and unhelpful. I had no confidence in their knowledge or professionalism.
They rushed through the job, completing it in a fraction of the time originally estimated, and left the site in a terrible condition—pipes were left raised and the overall workmanship was substandard.
When I raised these issues—along with my builder and plumber—the company's response was simply that they would “speak to their team.” There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to correct the problems.
Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend this company.

After our initial response to your review on 4th September, as investigations into your installation have been concluded internally last week, I would like to offer a more detailed reply to your review.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to speak with me over the phone on 5th September. The information you provided on this call was extremely valuable in knowing where certain failures had occurred in the service levels you had been provided.

As we were sub-contracted through another trade for your installation, some of the details we discussed such as creating access holes through walls, etc were expected to be completed for us prior to site arrival. After discussions with Ben [who were we contracted to] it had become apparent that certain critical parts of our information were either not carried out prior to us attending site as we required, or were assumed to be something that they weren't, such as our covering application of the UFH pipes in the floor not being a levelling compound.

Our relationship with Ben continued to remain positive throughout the issues which you mention such as the raised pipes and by working constructively with Ben we were able to be overcome the issues. We know that this does not make up for the lack of care and attention in certain areas of the covering application over the pipes, which I admitted to you after seeing the installation pictures and areas could have been better.

To highlight further your comment about rushing the job and completing in a fraction of the time, our schedule was completed sooner as we had 2 teams on your project, due to an unforeseen last minute postponement of another project which was due on the same day. The extra hands on site meaning that we could turn your planned 2 day project into a single day. After speaking with you about this, it seemed that the installation was led by a member of our team who you stated was not an example setter for others within JK.

After your first complaint was raised prior to this review, our Operations Manager made a 4 hour round trip to your home in order to investigate. Appreciating fully that you were not satisfied with his viewpoint, it is important to note that we did visit you in order to investigate further.

During our conversation Katie, it was becoming more apparent that it was a level of poor customer service and impression from one member of the install team in particular and this has then brought further negative feelings company as a whole. This issue has personally been addressed by myself in the strongest manner possible to ensure future customers do not experience the same.

As a company we strive to ensure that we have individuals who promote us in the correct manner of providing the best service levels that we can. You have personally been let down in this case, for which you once again have my apologies.

As i replied also to your comment on our Facebook promotional advert where you have advised customers to avoid us, this is disappointing to see as I had hoped that with my intervention and with how serious I have looked into the matter that I would represent as the overseeing person that is accountable for our installations division, that I do not condone the acts of customer service or poor installation practice that you unfortunately received and again will stress that with the amount of high scoring reviews and satisfied customers that have left us with their views that we are a reliable company, with good hard working people who work for us, as well as a fantastic product, but we have fallen short of the expected standards in certain areas regarding your project.

After investigation with our sales team, it was found that you did have a quote sent to you on the 28th May [your review here was posted on June 4th].

Unfortunately, the quote we sent had been diverted into your spam/junk folder and this was later confirmed by yourself after our sales colleague James gave a follow call.

We have a serious problem here with JKs…

We have a serious problem here with JKs installation- at 7.30pm we are sitting in our lounge in a freezing condition - the heating has gone off & the floor is cold to the touch - does JK care - no way - evidently it’s in our imagination
Incidentally our damp meter has detected damp on the floor in one area

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. At JK floorheating, it is our goal to always ensure that our customers are left satisfied with both the underfloor heating system and the level of service they have received.

Your review is missing some key information that we would like to include within our reply here.

Your underfloor heating installation has been installed since Friday 3rd March 2023. So for almost 2 years now.

In both April & May 2023 we visited on 2 occasions to investigate issues which were believed to be caused by suspected air locks within your heating system as a whole, and to see if an automatic bypass valve had been installed and set up correctly by the heating engineer. All areas of commissioning and service note completed by ourselves.

In December 2024, you reported to us that you were still having issues and we came back on January 7th 2025 to review and investigate.

As your installation was completed on behalf of one of our valued trade partners for which we have worked on multiple projects together and with great success, it was deemed that we would send out 2 of our representatives FOC to come and investigate your ongoing issue.

We do feel it is worthwhile here to note that one of the representatives in your home on the 7th had made a 4 hour one way trip to come and investigate the issue from a in depth technical perspective.

We would argue that we have shown more than enough care across multiple visits for which none we have charged for. It would also demonstrate that we are in fact a company that deeply cares about our customers and this reflects also in the many positive reviews that we have here on Trustpilot.

During our recent investigation, we tested our manifold which was performing correctly and would like to note that your Lounge was cold due to your room stat for this zone being programmed incorrectly. As an example, rather than the system being programmed to turn on at midday it was accidentally programmed by someone other than ourselves to come on at midnight.

It appears that there have been a number of issues around how your UFH system is being programmed so with all respects, this is not the underfloor heating which is causing the issue as it is reliant on the correct programming from the end user in cohesion with support from whoever purchased or fitted your UFH controls as this was done separately from our scope of works.

We made recommendation to you that you should purchase a Heatmeiser Hub to go with you Neo Stats which would allow you armchair control from your phone and would take out any complications in trying to program the room stat.

On final note, the issue you raise about damp in your floor was not mentioned to us on our visit on 7th January so we are a little shocked to see this now being mentioned. However, this could be as a result of many reasons, such as lack of or failed DPM barrier which is not caused by our UFH system. Moisture within a floor caused by a UFH system would indicate a leak, but this is not the case with your damp issue as we have taken both thermal images and also more tellingly is that you would have had continuous faults with your boiler dropping pressure, effecting the entirety of your homes central heating system across a near 2 year period and resulting in multiple heating engineer callouts.

We are saddened to see, especially as our representatives report that our on site presence was welcomed and the relationship between us appearing to be good with recommendations made during our last visit, so to be provided with this review from yourself we deem to be an extremely unfair and we hope that for any of our future customers reading this reply that they can see we have done more than what we should have in order to help and support you with your on-going issues.

Quick and tidy job carried out by Anil and Hassan

After installing the jk system a few weeks ago, I am amazed at how warm the system is! To top it off, the installers were clean, tidy and respectful. Went through the process and kept us informed!

Excellent cut out but…

Excellent cut out! Nice lads that came to do the install. My only criticism is that the 2nd lad that came to fit the manifold has installed it slightly out of level and the bottom fixings came loose within a few hours. Had to take them all out and replace with more suitable fixings which was tricky after it had all been piped up!

After a lot of calls and stress for a few months before while we lined up our builder and JK's requirements, Eddie arrived on Wednesday and managed to get the full install done in two days, quicker than the estimate. He was able to reassure us and explain the process clearly. The install went generally without a hitch and the flex seal was done on the second day, quicker than we anticipated.
