Found JK Flooring by accident and ……
Found JK Flooring by accident after much research and am really delighted that we did. During the summer they were on site and installed 50 sqm into a barn conversion from 2006 that we were refurbishing. We really didn’t want any height build up considering the kitchen units were still very much useable and JK seemed the way to go. Combined with a heat pump and tiled flooring installed on top and set up,as one zone with the existing radiators. We only really got to understand the real benefit from November onwards when it turned cold and it has worked brilliantly - the areas done are continually warm and cosy. From quote to installation everything was smooth and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team.

Great Customer Experience from Start to Finish....
The entire process from inception to completion was handled by JK Floor heating with professionalism and skill. Despite resourcing challenges the regional Operations Manager ensured the project was delivered on time; thank you Kris. We look forward to enjoying the benefits of the installation during the next heating season. The team of Chris, Jadon, Dale and Guy did a superb job of this. They were professional, competent, hard working and very polite. This wasn’t an easy job, with hard concrete as opposed to screed, and with some complex pathways. They planned it out well and executed to perfection. No dust and no mess, which was quite an achievement. Thank you, very pleased !.

From our initial enquiry with Kris, we felt relaxed and confident with JK Flooring.
Quote & ordering was easy and well communicated—we knew exactly what to expect, and the videos helped us prepare the area properly the day before the job.
Dale, Guy, and Jay were brilliant from day one. They explained everything properly, kept everywhere clean, and respected my home. They clearly know their stuff and work professionally. The underfloor heating install and concrete grinding were done with care and precision, and the end result is spot on.
It’s rare to find tradespeople who are this easy to deal with, turn up when they say they will, and actually do the job to a high standard. Would 100% recommend JK Flooring to anyone considering underfloor heating.

Poor install team communication
Product seems great but was very disappointed with the installation guys who didn’t let us know where they were upto and at the end of both days just left without even saying anything.
Paid extra for a screed finish which was left looking like a child had done parts if it, very poor finish. Going to do the rest of the house next year so will definitely have a good look around for alternatives as the installation team was a real let down. Krys the manager did come to have a look and offered assistance which was good just a shame about the install.

Thank you for speaking to me directly back in September when both this review and your UFH installation was completed.
I believed that I had replied to you via this method immediately after our phone call, but it clearly hasn't posted so I apologize for this delayed follow up to your review.
After we spoke I informed Kris [NW Operations Manager] of your review and feedback of the installation team. Like myself, he was also disappointed this had occurred.
Customer experience is of great focus throughout our company and we feel this reflects with how many positive reviews we receive here on TP. To be informed of the issues around simple lack of communication and courtesy once your job was completed simply wasn't acceptable to us and has since been dealt with internally.
As discussed around the flexseal application, i can again only apologize about some of the areas where high points were left. As mentioned, the compound is not installed in a fashion where we go from perimeter to perimeter of a room and we will also avoid laying the compound under units / islands as it is a means of backfilling the UFH pipework only and not intended to be a self-levelling compound, so it will never leave a flat / smooth finish as it is applied with a 2mm notch trowel.
Understanding that a bad experience can put people off using the same business / service again, it would be regretful on our side Chris if we were not able to undertake the remainder of your project once you are ready for the works to commence.
It is very unlike us to provide the service level we know we can achieve and I would welcome any opportunity to be able to put this right and show you what the standard of service should have been like from the very beginning.

Just had jk into install my underfloor heating and I’m delighted with work done the 3 lads Guy, Dale and Ryan were punctual and polite answered any questions I had and finished job ahead of schedule, this has been one of the easiest experiences of my build.

Neat and tidy job carried out without fuss while we were on holiday! Final bill took off some of the "extra over" cost for concrete cutting as not as much was required as originally thought. Went for the JK Flexseal option, so that floor was ready for latex levelling screed straight afterwards.

No subfloor insulation no problem
Right o, well we have had our UFH system installed and operational for over 18 months, I cannot recommend this company enough from making first contact to them actually delivering their services and installing everything went super smooth.
Background as to why I went for JK, I live in a stone built cottage in northwales with a non insulated floor it was not an option to rip up the floor nor to add insulation on the top, so having the UFH cut into the existing floor was our option, but not being insulated had me a bit worried as to how much heat I would actually feel under my feet, I’d been told I may loose a little heat to the ground but I should definitely have a warm floor regardless, so I bit the bullet and we went for the system, I can tell you the floor very much gets warm! Me and the wife have said it’s a total game changer to the way the house is heated, the heat distribution around the room is so constant. No cold patches, it really is the business. Oh and drying clothes on a maiden in the winter is a dream, no more pushing up against a radiator to dry, place anywhere in your room and within a day your clothes will be dry,
Anyway enough rambling, if you’re unsure about jk floorheating don’t be!!!! It’ll be the best decision you ever made. 😎

Delighted to hear that the system gives you 18 months of heating comfort, especially given that your floor slab is not insulated as you mentioned.
The JK system being designed to still be the primary heat source in older buildings that don't carry insulation in the floor is further proven by your comments and we massively appreciate you sharing this with us on our Trustpilot audience.
You may have also have come up with a unique add on sale for us. A clothes maiden with every JK installation!

Excellent service. Manager Allen is amazing, great customer service, he responded to all my emails and queries swiftly and very reasonable and affordable cost. Very accommodating, tried to meet our expectation.
3 staff came to install on the day as scheduled, very punctual, arrived on time and finished work on time as scheduled, beautiful finish.
