Sending this review on behalf of my mum who has recently joined the gym. Thanks for welcoming and helping her!

I only joined the gym recently to get back into my fitness. I am only coming to do the classes and I am throughly enjoying them. The staff are very professional and give options. I have tried Christine’s pilates and I felt challenged in the best way and I also tried John’s yoga which I found very grounding. For my cardio exercise I tried zumba with Emily and it was very fun. The staff are clearly very dedicated and have a passion for what they do. Thank you JD team. Maureen.

I will be honest ,after spending some years there I find that people on may occasion are amazingly polite indeed and they help you whatever you ask ,there can be only one issue which is the cleaning part which is management not employee ,in any other facilities you get slightly more clean floors and shower not here.

Several times I ask a mop or something to remove the dirt after I shower which is soap and water waste nothing ,this is an automatic business model where everyone listen to the boss .

Gym and changing areas always clean really enjoying the tai-chi class.

Never anybody at the desk, so still not had an induction yet which is annoying then when I tried to ring it just goes to voicemail - not a great start

Far too busy, no cap on membership numbers. Have delayed going later and later, but no matter what time you go, unless you want to get on a treadmill, you've no chance.

Had a pt with a girl called libbie, very polite and a great help would definitely recommend, great gym too will definitely be returning for another pt with libbie!

Good gym and facilities, plenty of equipment and reasonably priced. opening hours are great. Only issue is that it can be VERY busy at times but the gym not to blame for that

The gym equipment is looking a bit tired and could do with an upgrade classes are just ok, I would just say all is adequate.

£7 per month cheaper than Halton Leisure Centre, with more equipment and better opening hours! 24 hour.

A pretty mid-tier gym. The best parts about it are that it’s 24 hours, near a bus stop and competitively priced. I’ve not found that I can’t use a machine that I wanted to use and there’s plenty of plates, weights and dumbbells to go around.

The issues begin with access control. I understand using the QR code to get in, but to get out? That’s egregious. It’s compounded by the fact that the mobile signal inside is non-existent, and the WiFi is awful to the point where it doesn’t work. On one occasion, I literally couldn’t get the QR code up on my phone whatsoever. After five minutes of standing at the entrance messing around with my phone’s network settings with no staff around to assist, I connected to M&S WiFi next door and managed to leave. That was an awful experience

The equipment and the support it is so welcoming

Overall great just wish to have more cardio related classes like step classes or boxing related where comes to sweating

Jd gym and the staff are all so helpful. All high tech equipment. I love the classes they do which makes them push you that bit harder for the encouragement you need .

No complaints at all . And it’s 24/7 which is another bonus fantastic place

All machines are state of art , well maintained n sufficient in quantity. Staff is courteous n supportive. High standard of cleanliness is ensured all the time.

The gym itself is lovely - very spacious and a wide range of machines and weights to use. What lets this gym down is that it’s often untidy - not by fault of the of staff, who do make an effort to keep it clean, but by a minority gym goers. This is mostly by the cable machines, where the different handles are left on the floor rather than put back in their designated box. And the free weight section where the mats and weights aren’t put back on their stands. I think if there was an increased staff presence around these areas and more signage to put equipment back, this issue would be reduced. Additionally, two cubicles in the ladies changing room is not enough during busy periods.

Took my money but didn't bother to send me my email to set my account up so I can't use the gym, emails take 7 days to get back to you. Again what am I paying for.

great range of equipments and reasonable waiting time to use them unfortunately one mashin that I wanted to use is out of order since I have join the gym.
sauna is well heated but the door doesn't close properly.
good size showers but unfortunately extremely dirty there is mold on the walls I am not sure if they have ever been washed.
bathrooms are clean but the soap dispenser is empty for the last 2 times I have visited the gym.

Great gym although one staff member moans at my son for wearing crocs, citing that they are not safe. I have seen the same staff member completely ignoring the fact that some of the cute girls there have no shoes on and some of the big guys are wearing crocs as well. One rule for all please. Also, the dress code needs looking at. Some of the women there are practically wearing bikini's. I'm as open minded as the next guy but it's a gym not a nightclub.
