Great gym and atmosphere with very welcoming, friendly staff (in particular Dan, he’s always so smiley and chatty and makes me feel so welcome in the gym! I look forward to each session! :)

What a great gym! It’s massive. Male and female sauna’s. Immaculate equipment and changing rooms. Friendly. No need to book classes in advance.

JD has been under new management for a little while now and with this;
I have noticed huge improvements with general cleanliness’s around the gym floor and changing rooms are well maintained even when short on staffing.

The floor coaches and personal trainers are all equipped with great information when needed and have some lovely interactions with other gym members.

The staff overall are very happy to talk/settle any concerns you have.

A good range of equipment. Does need some more resistance bands and carabiners but it’s a lovely atmosphere and i have made friends for life from this place.

The gym equipment is good, but the air conditioning is awful and the music is played at unsafe levels (85 dB and above). After a stressful day at work, the last thing you want is to listen to terrible dance music with screechy vocals. Everyone wears headphones...!

I signed my son up for standard membership after being very specific about the type of membership we required. I am the bill payer and JD have charged me £29.99 instead of £10 and no doubt my DD will be set up incorrectly.
I tried ringing - was on hold for an hour, so gave up
I’ve emailed- they replied that my son (account holder) will have to contact them, which he has. He’s also tried to submit a ‘ticket’ but it has failed to ‘submit’.
I await a reply and am concerned it will take us past the 14days cancellation window.

After a total of 15 emails to and from JD customer services, from start to finish, I’m delighted that this matter has been resolved by Megan. She understood my issue and was quick to resolve it. Thank you

The gym has decent equipment and I enjoyed the work outs. However, I signed up on a non contract basis and after I cancelled my direct debit and submitted the cancellation form the app stopped working and I could not access the gym even though I had 3 weeks left of the month I had pid for and the cancellation email stated I would have access until the day prior to my next payment being due. When I submitted a complaint, the email response stated it would take up to 14 days to respond. If you pay for a service, you should receive it for the duration of the time paid for. I will be looking into what actions I can take as I was not provided the month that I paid for.
