Overall good, maybe more info for first timers?
It was my first time visiting yesterday. I didn't go for an induction as I've been to a few gyms and felt I could get on with the machines well.
Overall it was a nice experience, the machines were easy to use and clean. The toilets and changing rooms were clean and the locker was nice and big to put all my stuff in. You have to being your own lock for the lockers though.
It would nice to have alittle bit of information on the website or app about arriving for the first time, what to do at the gates and where the changing rooms are located in the building. I just had to figure it all out as I got there and by watching other people.

A but disappointing really
A but disappointing really, Ive tried phoning a few times but no one answers the phone, I received an email offering an induction session - I replied, but have had no response.
various emails received suggesting the use of a PT - and that PT profiles are availiable on a board near the entrance - the only board i can find is advertising for PTs
Ive visited 3 times so far, on every occasion any staff on site have been together chatting in the office, to interrupt does not feel comfortable!
Glad I have only paid £10 for the first month, as i probably wont continue, though a may try a site other than mansfield first to see if its just this site!!

Nice gym. changing rooms need to open 24h
This is a very nice gym with lots of equipment and plenty of classes to keep me fit. I joined when it become 24h, I like to go early before work, my only complaint is the changing/shower rooms didn't become 24h, their is a downstairs toilet/shower but its not suitable. Overall it's 4 stars for me, but that would change to 5 if the changing rooms open 24h

We are proud to be a 24-hour gym in Mansfield, but due to there being less staff on duty throughout the night, areas which are not covered by CCTV are closed for the safety of our members (i.e. the main changing rooms and saunas).
We would love to be up to the 5*s but safety comes first in this instance.

Went to gym Mansfield no one to speak…
Went to gym Mansfield no one to speak to only turnstiles! No membership number to quote . Trying to cancel but the form doesn't cover cancel so sent form anyway . Can see this being a nightmare to cancel.

Our gyms have barriers at the entrance which you can open using our contactless entry app. If you are unable to gain entry for whatever reason, there is a green button near the gates. Press that and it alerts a member of staff to your presence. Someone will come over to help.
However if we cannot change your mind after your initial experience, As long as you've submitted your cancellation request using our contact form, someone will process that and confirm via email for you. That's all you need to do: https://www.jdgyms.co.uk/general-enquiries-form/

The gym is always rammed
The gym is always rammed, lots of time spent waiting for equipment whilst groups of “lads” gather round it. Only one leg press always in use. Not enough attachments for all the cables that are there. The women’s gym needs more equipment rather than just basics. Nice and clean though

The equipment is really good but disappointing that the changing rooms don't open until 6am. I was a member at Derby and they opened the changing rooms at 5am

We are a 24-hour gym in Mansfield, but due to there being less staff on duty throughout the night, areas which are not covered by CCTV are closed t for the safety of our members (i.e. the main changing rooms and saunas).
We do however leave the accessible changing room open at all times, as well as there being lockers for you to use. If you need to get changed or grab a shower during the night, that option is there for you and you'll have complete privacy in there.
