JD Gyms - Gloucester Recensioni 

Great to see this gym is very clean and well run by the team.

Very large gym, good range of equipment and friendly staff

Amazing gym, good atmosphere and equipment

In Gloucester we are very fortunate to have lots of options for gyms so my wife and I signed up for the first opening month at JD to check it out. When we tried to stop the subscription - something that is very simple at pure gym for example - we found that the only way was to fill out an online form and wait 30 days. We cancelled our direct debit, and now we have been locked out of the gym even though we paid for the first month.

When we turned up at the gym the manager was extremely hostile and lied to us that "because we cancelled our direct debit we were not insured and couldnt use the gym anymore". Which is obviously incorrect not least because we paid for a month membership upfront.

The facilities are fine, but the sneaky way that JD have implemented the cancellations to scam people out of an extra month membership combined with the extremely hostile manager means we will never go back for sure.

I suspect others will also find out soon enough JD behaves very poorly when it comes to cancelling.

Really like the space, good kit and facilities.

So glad Gloucester now has a JD Gym. Great facilities, clean and the equipment is brilliant. Added bonus of a sauna. Definitely recommend for the price. Wouldn’t use any other gym.

Great gym. Has everything you need including more. Sauna included which is a great after the session. Staff approachable and friendly. Definitely the best gym in Gloucester.

Lovely gym, plenty of space, loads of equipment, sauna lovely and hot! Only negative so far, the younger crowd going in the sauna with boxers and not showering before entry and bring their mobile with them crazy!

JD gyms Gloucester:

1. New facilities that is always clean! It doesn't smell, it's not dusty, and it doesn't stink of sweat.
2. So much option! There is over 10 heavy weights racks to do RDL's, squats, deadlifts! There is over 20 treadmills! There is over 10 benches for free weights! And my favourite part is the glute builder machines! Yes there is only one of each but I have never had to wait! (Bring more!!!!).
3. Showers and locker space is lovely. There drop of lockers outside of the changing rooms is a smart idea.
4. Getting into the gym is super easy. QR code and you are in. The app is pretty basic but would be cool to have a attendance counter?
5. Good music on the speaker, not just radio shit like most gyms.
6. Gym staff are so friendly!
7. Vending machines have a nice option of drinks, including health related ones for any health junkies.
8. It's never busy lol due to the size! You could have 50 plus people and it would feel empty.
Par from that it's awesome. The best one in Gloucester. Compared to other competitors like PureGym and everlast which are both due an upgrade, it's awesome to have this new gym in the block.
