JD Parking system is worst today someone stole my bicycle

Gym is tired looking. There is racks for 2 bikes to be stored, for a gym that has thousands of members not food enough. The rest of the bikes are locked on the staircase obstructing access. Poor equipment checks (the treadmill I was on today almost threw me off as the track was slipping) no new equipment since the place opened years ago. Much nicer gyms in Cardiff.

Very easy and quick to join on line, good price for all the facilities.

Accessibility of the gym is great.

Big changing rooms but could do with more seating and lockers.
Bizarre showers that only come on for 2 seconds!

Great Gym, Sauna included whats to complain about.

As a plus size woman, finding a new gym always scares me.
I joined JD gym cardiff last week and find it to be very welcoming. Best gym around the area for sure.

The gym is very big, has every machine/piece of equipment I could think of. Straight forward and easy to get into the establishment with the app.

A good range of machines for my goals and spacious. Intro was good too. So far, happy with gym. Price is good too and clean.

If I have to rate this gym for real it would be negative 5.
I experienced shocked, unexplainable damage to my e-scooter last eve, while it was locked at the inside stairs leading to my gym.
I dunno what exactly happened to the scooter.
I found it with twisted/bent front tyre and fork while it was perfectly and securely locked (hight performance lock) on the lower part of the hand rails. There are no damages to the lock, so I assume it wasn't attempt to steal it. My version is that some of the gym clients just pushed it forcefully towards the wall on purpose, just to cause the damage. To cause this damage it requeres a lot of force, so someone instead working out with weights at the gym, exercised on my escooter, causing terrible damage. If I knew that the clients of this gym are criminals, I would've never signed up for this dodgy, criminal kennel, dare to be called gym. It is also not impossible staff to be involved as well.
As a gym facillity it suppose that you support helathy way of living not only in the gym, but outside gym as well. However, you don't provide secure and reliable bike locks, neither cctv on the stairs. You have only 2 funny, wierd to use bike stands by the main building entrance, mount to the wall.with simple screws (thiefts Heaven). A 3 y.o. with a screwdriver and zero skills can steal your bike along with the stand in a matter of a minute. All clients who use bike or scooter as an alternative, healthy, eco-friendly transport are heavily discouraged to use their chosen transport to reach the gym. Clients are forced to lock their bikes/scooters to the hand rails all the way up to the 2nd floor. Oh, and not to mention about the lift, which hasn't been working for ages already. At least before it was not too bad option to lock my escpoter upstairs where there is cctv and a large window to observe my scooter straight.from the gym.
Unneccessarily to mention that I cancelled my membership already. Even if it is possible my escooter to be repaired,.even the tought that some of gyms criminal clients may deside to exercise their strenght on my scooter once again is a major turn off. This event brought so much stress to me that I .not sure that I can be able to use the last few days of my memeberahip without my anexiety level hit the sky. This gym is highly unsafe to visit. How could I be sure that "tomorrow" I won't be attaced on the stairs and be robbed or hurt? And there is no cctv to add a layer of protection. I highly suggest no one in their right mind to sing up to this criminal gym where your and your property safety is at the bottom of the company's priorities.

I used to go to another gyms but I rejoined JD gym in Cardiff again. Cuz it feels so good and a range of equipment. Highly recommended guys!

Everything good but the changing room smells like urine

Equipments should a bit more in number. And checked regularly if damaged.

you guys froze my membership for no reason after l paid the money successfully .l went to the gym three times,the staff told me to call your office but your customer phone calls will never get through.what should I do right now?

have to get in queues to exercise some time :(.

Great gym with a great range of machines. Changing rooms are clean and spacious.

Could do with another pec dec as always in use and a que to it

Initial trouble with account suspension during signing up, but flawless otherwise with good facilities and a fair price.

I love jd gym. I had an issues, they resolved it. The Staff are lovely. It’s just when you walk at night your walking through town full of drunk people, and at the entrance there’s a queue of people waiting to go into live lounge.

Also you can only go in once a day

The lifts hardly work

The equipment is sometimes out of use

I’ve joined the gym group. You can access it unlimited times, all equipment works and it’s located on the corner of town so I don’t have to walk through the crazies

Really good equipment and atmosphere.
