No air con before 5am!! Nice gym but spoilt by penny pinching.

Definitely one of the best gyms I’ve been into equipment and facilities are amazing

Gyms got a good atmosphere, staff are very friendly and they offer some great classes.

Good experience

I did a class today for the first time with Jayne Deakin, I just want to say what a credit she is. Her energy was through the roof and made it so enjoyable and fun and its nice to see a trainer putting in 100% . Will definitely be going to more of her classes.

The air con has been broken or on and off for about two weeks. It's unsafe to work out and hard to breathe when the temperature in the gym is higher than the outside (at least 30°C). There are no managers and not enough staff on duty at busy times in the evenings and the cleanliness of the gym is just appalling. I'm considering switching to a competitor gym at this point.

JD Bury whilst the temperature outside is 30 degrees why is the air con not working and why was there no manager on duty this evening.
I am sure you are in breach of your health and safety obligations by being open in this heat in your gym!

It's 12th June, heatwave, 29° and the air con is none existent. You can barely breathe inside. Surely the air con should be on?

Everyone is melting inside and you can tell as it's half empty.

Top quality gym. Great staff all very friendly

I am a new member and got to say the gym is great value for money. Plenty of equipment (with the exception of certain resistance machines) and floor space so ok even at very busy times. The gym is always clean & tidy with all the staff friendly and helpful.

The gym is on a main shopping area in the middle of town, so if you come after 9 most days you will struggle to park. The gym is fair enough bit it is, even after just a year showing its age needs maintenance on machines already one of bikes been broke for at least a month. The staff are mostly non existent aa I think they are all self employed judging by the advertising all over. The members are all mostly ok keep to themselves though people do hoff equipment and no one seems capable of putting anything back. Overall if you know what your doing and go early it's not bad for new starters though have to say leaves allot to be desired try somewhere else.

I’ve attended this gym since it opened.
I love the Les mills classes the most, especially body combat with Jayne. She has a vast knowledge of all the tracks which keeps classes fresh and varied. She also motivates every one to the best of their ability.
Also a fan of hiit step, Body Attack, Body Pump and spin with Jayne also Vicky’s spin class! Don’t use the equipment so can’t comment on that.
There is always a cleaner around when I go keeping the place clean and tidy.
The new manager who has recently joined has taken part in some classes and is really visible and approachable.
Keep up the good work, and great classes!

Great atmosphere in the spin class with Emily always happy to help always , got a smile on her face , never feel like i've had an easy class great workouts

Fab gym. I love the range of classes and the instructors are fab. I love JD Burn and the Les Mills classes. Jane is an inspiration and she always pushes you to achieve your best. Everything is well explained. It is really clean as well. I'm really glad that I joined.

Brilliant gym the staff are a great bunch of people, the gym has all the facilities that facilitate me. Manager is amazing.

Whether you go morning or night this gym is great.

Really good experience at Bury JD! Initially I started out doing classes and then wanted to more progression with my strength so have signed up to PT sessions. I chose Rob as a trainer after attending his dance fit classes! Absolutely amazing trainer! Very knowledgeable and really helps build confidence. Thanks Rob!
