Great local gym, equipment is fantastic
Special shout out to Pippa, who really went above and beyond in helping with my membership today.

Love the Blackpool gym especially Pippa Assistant Manager
She is knowledgeable , speaks to all the members and is always around the gym
She is a real credit to the company

I visited JD gyms in Blackpool this week for the first time and was very impressed with the facilities but what made the experience even better was one of your staff members Adam who was very helpful, he is a massive asset to your team. Will definitely be coming back.

Joined jd gyms in clevleys, Blackpool around 4 weeks ago. Really happy with everything , very easy to find everything, well kept and super clean. Changing rooms are nice and spacious and they even have a sauna, which is an added bonus. My one complaint would be that there should be more staff members to help with new starters. When I joined I had only been working out at home, after asking a member of staff to show me how to use a machine , I was told to go and wait at reception and somebody would assist me. I actually lost 30mins gym time staring at a blank wall and nobody came out. I then took it upon myself to get other gym members to show me how to safely use the equipment. I'm still attending jd gyms and other than that everything else about the place is awesome.

They need to frequently go round the gym and check the machines as a few of them are dragging and making it harder to train ! Get them lubricated plse !

Love JD burn classes with Hannah. Always feel like I’ve done a good workout and had fun at the same time. The energy in the class is great and love the active rests! I’d definitely recommend the class!

Great gym and facilities , had a personal training session with Hannah . She showed round and how to use all the equipment properly. Really enjoy coming here.

Fantastic Atmosphere for all to achieve their fitness goals!

Initial tour was conducted by Ryan Gregory, who was welcoming, informative, and enthusiastic. Membership process was quick and straightforward — completed via a tablet computer, onsite. The centre is large enough to accommodate many clients, without feeling busy. Distinct areas of the centre allow for varied types of training, from traditional free-weight / machine-based resistance training, to functional and studio-based training. Entry to, and exit from, the building is achieved by scanning a code via smartphone app., which is quick, and generally reliable. With no formal reception (or reception staff), training can commence without interaction, which is rare and welcome to me, personally. Overall, the training experience has been first class.

In general its very good & I am happy, but the Air conditioning and fans are not always working effectively & the shower facilities require more cleaning attention.

I recently referred a friend with a provided code and they joined but I have not heard anything from JD about the reward that was on offer. (?)

Everything good ; spinning bikes seem to have all bottle holders now....It could do with better air conditioning in the spinning room too.
The only thing very missed is the swimming pool

Great gym! Loads of equipment and space, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Loads of great classes to choose from with brilliant instructors. So glad I joined, and it’s a bargain

Absolutely love the gym and it’s facilities , for the money it’s ace.
My only issues are the air conditioning isn’t great in the fitness rooms and I also have issues getting in as my I phone doesn’t always connect to JD WiFi and I have to switch off and use 4G. I also have issues at the top floor connecting to JD WiFi on the treadmills and bikes. As I say love the gym and classes but just those issues.

Excellent selection of cardio and weights equipment. Good price and plenty of parking

Only downside so far is it gets really hot hard to run for a long distance in that heat. Any chance of aircon?!

a clean and modern gym with loads of classes to choose from and there is something for everyone .
