I've been going to Blackburn JD's since its opening and it's been an excellent experience from day one. The machines are great as are the staff members. If I've ever needed anything, the staff have always been great help, which makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

Hi, I joined the gym over two years ago, after a bad Motorsport accident which damaged my back, and I was told to try Yoga and Pilates classes, which I did. After four or five weeks my back was back to normal, I enjoyed the classes so much, I’ve kept on doing them, and also signed on with PT Kirsty Smalley, to help with my posture and upper body strenth.
All the staff are really friendly and very helpful, highly recommend JD Gyms, either as a beginner or expert.

Great facility. Easy access from motorway . Good selection of classes. Helpful staff. Very busy car park.
Padlock needed for lockers but you only find this out when you get there.

JD Gym Blackburn is AMAZING! The staff are so friendly and the classes are second to none. Every single member of staff brings something different the my exercise experience, so it never becomes boring. There are so many classes to choose from too! More than other local gyms and even other JD ones, we are incredibly lucky. The people who go are friendly and you very soon start seeing familiar faces with (virtually) everyone giving a cheery hello! The management is second to none. I would whole-heartedly recommend this gym. It's not expensive and I for one, certainly gets my money's worth!

Great gym, classes are really good and plenty of choice. More AM classes with Toni please. Staff are always friendly and approachable.

Kirsty is my PT and I rate her highly
She knows my strengths and weaknesses but also pushes me to get the best out of me
I’m only on week 6 and thoroughly enjoy my weekly sessions and hope to carry on for the foreseeable

Excellent group exercise timetable with the best instructors.
JD Blackburns manager, Angie, leads by example! Professional, approachable and hands on. She is loved by all.

Spin class with Kirsty is brilliant, I only started last week I already see a difference, Kirsty really pushes you with different exercises to build muscle & strength all while making it enjoyable at the same time. Safe to say my legs will be sore again 🦵💪 10/10 💯 thanks 🙏

It’s too far away from me at home about one hour walk and walk back to home another one hour is total 2 hours walk. This gym is very good place and have warm sauna hottest more than Dubai weather nice I really love it. They don’t have power plate vibration plate massage I want vibrate plate in Blackburn because my foot hurt for long walk distance it’s okay anyway I can walk to there all times thanks

Well, where do I start fantastic gym with amazing staff. Gym has really turned around since Angie the manager has returned. She’s a real star alongside other staff, Chris, Jake, Kirsty, Ellie, Sumaiya, Ebony, Raees and team. All helpful and very supportive, having helped me with my fitness journey. Thank you, I really appreciate it. Love coming in for a natter too!! :)
