Unusual selection of vocabulary and language constructions for a beginner course. Much more useful than other courses.

There are many different styles of learning available to me in your various menus of classes. I use the ones easiest for me to understand and make the associations between English and Japanese that allow me to use what I learn to make my own expressions instead of just repeating what is offered.

The Japanese Blueprint is a good introduction to the Japanese language, it starts by providing you with 25 phrases that are very useful in basic communication. The instructor gives good pronunciation and insights on how to speak properly. As an American, for a phrase like “Ohayou gozaimasu” the tendency is to pronounce it O-hi-o because that is a familiar word. I think it is a case of the lesson is only as good as your ability to hear the difference and follow the proper pronunciation. The phrases the instructor chooses are useful and you will use most of them if you travel to Japan.

I've tried several program to learn Japanese. With Japanese Blueprint I don't memorize textbook phrases but begin a more natural conversational method. I'm confident I could have a realconversation in Japan.

They provide well developed material which is fully orientated to get you conversing in Japanese faster than you thought was possible.

I had a few questions starting out and I appreciate that they were very responsive. So any questions you have, feel free to reach out! For me, the content is good but I wouldn't say beginner friendly. The pdfs of the phrases don't match the order of the audio so it makes them less helpful. I do like that each audio is themed and not made up of a bunch of "textbook" phrases that you don't really use in real conversations.

An interesting alternative to the usual out-dated memorising language courses. Packed with real life Japanese instead of words and phrases Japanese people no longer use. I’ve tried them all. This one is good!

It took a while, but listening to the Japanese audio tapes is helping me understand more conversational Japanese. Listening now I don't feel as if I'm being taught the language, but more words click in my head as if I've known them before during audio recordings. Difficult to explain, but it's subliminal and seeps into your brain at night.
