We recently completed our first property investment, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, thanks to Lois and her team. From the very beginning of the process, through the renovation and beyond, Lois was an invaluable partner.

She guided us through each step with clarity and expertise, ensuring that we always understood the decisions being made. No question was ever too small—Lois was always available to provide answers and offered prompt follow-up whenever needed.

One of the key things that stood out to us was her exceptional communication. Whether it was addressing concerns or giving us updates, Lois was always just a call or message away, ready to provide insight or assistance.

Unfortunately I chose to work with Ivywood Developments in order to find a property deal. We agreed a property criteria and sourcing term of three months in February 23 . To secure this sourcing service I paid an
four figure upfront fee. Having experienced this service I've now learnt you should never pay this amount to a property sourcer upfront and it's bad practice for the PS to ask for a large upfront fee in the first place.

During the three month sourcing period I received zero properties matching the agreed criteria. However I received a myriad of excuses as to why they couldn't find any properties. The list of excuses was neverending but I was reassured that a property would be found. The three months elapsed. I decided to give Ivywood Developments the benefit of the doubt and allow the sourcing period to continue on a week by week basis as I still had some faith in Ivywood Developments due to being a little naive. However the excuses continued and infact was the only thing Ivywood Developments was able to source.

I saw something online that alerted me to the fact there may be some serious issues within Ivywood Developments as a company in early Sept 23 so I requested a refund of my sourcing fee. The contract had not been honoured so it should have been a straightforward refund. In fact Ivywood Developments assured me that I would receive a refund within 28 days. Even though this is an excessive amount of time in order to issue a refund I accepted it and patiently waited. However this refund request was not honoured within 28 days!

During the 28 days I was waiting to be refunded Ivywood Developments was sending out property deals to their mailing list of properties matching my criteria but unintentionally sent to me also. This would suggest they didn't have any intention of honouring the contract we had but we're happy to retain my fee anyway!

After I sent an official complaint in order to take it to redress to get a refund of my fee. I put in a dispute on the card I paid on. Otherwise I may still have been waiting now to get refunded.

This is my first investment with Ivywood Development and the experience was absolutely fantastic.
With professional guidance from a very knowledgeable team especially Lois and Katie to get you from A-Z.
I intend to secure my next investment with them again.
