I signed up with this organization as a franchisee in February 2023. I was guaranteed a refund of my startup cost which was a bit over 14K usd, if I didnt break even within the first year. Guess what? I didnt. So I asked for a refund per the contract with James (Jimmy) Harold. Jimmy and his team were in contact with me, and they asked for an extension of time on the refund by only 3 months. I agreed. During this wait and strange communication with Jimmy and his team, I discovered that Jimmy (James) Crangle-not James Harold-is the owner. From about May 2024 to February 2025, I discovered an entire group of 30+ people who also havent been paid their refunds for the franchisee investment. During this same time, the communication between myself and Jimmy and another owner was not good. I was only given 3K of my refund and no one from this company has been in contact about sending me the rest of my refund because its been almost a year.

This course provides thorough and useful study materials to equip you for all areas of teaching - working with students of various ages, adjusting to problems, and even how to find teaching jobs in foreign countries. I learned a lot and would recommend this course to anyone looking to start teaching English overseas or online.

The course made me think. Think about how to prepare myself, think about if I was ready to do this type of work, and think about what my future could be.
It wasn't a difficult course, but it took time to complete and I believe has prepared me to go forward with Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

This course is concise and to the point. The format of the teaching material is well presented and allows you to progress at your own speed. Well done to The TEFL Organization for Providing such a great opportunity.

Jimmy Crangle TEFL Franchise
Jimmy Crangle from World TEFL Association (iTefl) sold me an online English teaching franchise for approx US$30k in July 2012 with a money back guarantee if certain financial returns were not achieved. On his own admission in Mar 2013 Mr Crangle admitted the 'Franchise Scheme' was a "disaster" and promised all the franchisees full refunds and to this day I am still waiting! I have been in touch with many people who had very similar experiences between 2013 and 2022. I would like to hear from others who have had similar experiences.

All was well until i had a problem with printing the certificate. I am still waiting for the response . I have sent an email

I like kind of freedom of study, I am working, get tired and very often is difficult to make a time for study. I have finished this part but not available to print out certificate, I hope it will be solved soon.

video clips in almost all lessons made my studies easy before coming to the actual course work. assessment was relevant and content-based. I enjoyed studying with you.

Extremely intuitive, made the advanced things seem so easy and simplified! Loved learning things about the English language I didn't know existed. Wonderful course and definitely a stepping stone to a fulfilling career in teaching English.

This was my first time doing an online course, and I must say that this was a great experience. The study materials provided are informative and they prepare you well for the assessments/exams. I think the organisation has done a remarkable job with the study materials provided, however I would've liked to have more videos explaining some concept. Nonetheless I am confident and I fell well equipped for my teaching journey. Thank you.
