nightmare...
employers need to pay their employees personally. PERIOD. all these SCAM payroll organizations are completely out of control. and now we are forced into using a product that is a total scam just to get paid? this place also linked our payroll account without our consent to ZAYZOON, another completely bogus company. this has to stop. if people hire you they need to PAY YOU. period. and must not be allowed to dump your personal data into some sketchy organization like this one.

All the customer service reps are overseas now. They are hard to hear and even harder to understand. The fees have gone way up and there are new fees that didn't exist before. To fix anything you have to pay a fee.

If I could give a zero I would. This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is terrible. Most of them have no clue what they’re doing. The website never works. The phone lines never work. Multiple times they would say we weren’t covered throughout the year we used them. Their already insane prices go up without notice. I can’t believe anyone would choose them. We cancelled all of our small business policies and are so thankful to not have to deal with them
anymore. Choose someone else……

Isolved is absolutely mind boggling horrible for time management. It is extremely difficult to do a simple time punch correction. I hate this software and which I could get rid of it.

isolved was hired by my previous employer to manage all payroll, withholding etc. 3 years ago, when the company ceased to have any MN employees, isolved failed to click a button to close the tax account with the state of MN. So MN, running out of money to fund fraud and special interest group handouts, retrospectively estimated that my employer would have owed more than $17k in state withholding for the 2 years when there were NO EMPLOYEES. MN then decided i was personally liable for these fictional taxes and sent me a bill. 0 stars for isolved and minus 5 stars for MN. nice state.

As a payroll specialist using isolved, I have run into no issues! The platform has been extremely friendly and easy to use!

I have been using iSolved for almost three years across multiple functions, including applicant tracking, onboarding, benefits enrollment, payroll, HRIS, as well as FSA and COBRA administration. Overall, it has proven to be a highly effective and comprehensive solution, particularly for a small HR department managing a wide range of responsibilities.

The platform streamlines processes efficiently and reduces the need for multiple systems, which has been a significant advantage compared to other HRIS platforms I’ve used in the past. The customer service is responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful when issues arise.

The reason for a four-star rating instead of five is due to occasional system bugs and glitches that can be frustrating at times. While these issues are typically resolved and are fairly common with most technology platforms, they can disrupt workflows when they occur.

Overall, iSolved is a strong, reliable HR solution that I would recommend, especially for organizations looking to consolidate HR functions into a single, user-friendly system.

The isolved People Cloud offers a wide range of solutions for end-to-end employee processing; talent acquisition through offboarding and year-end form processing.
The employee's experience is rather seamless, once they've successfully established their MFA preferences (pro tip, use one's mobile device and stay clear of email or text messages).
The employer/admin side is great for the basic features but can be challenging when dealing with expense management, workforce scheduling, and document sign-offs.

Overall pretty good; comprehensive, easy to learn & use. Lately there have been a lot of weird little bugs that have been a bit frustrating.

It's a super versatile software that makes us capable of helping a wide variety of clients with vastly different needs in a constantly changing industry (Staffing).

isolved's customer service is the absolute best! Very responsive and knowledgeable.

isolved is an easy to use and set up platform. There was a lot of hand holding during the implementation and they understood the end goal of what we needed out of the system to then build.

Isolved is user friendly and very customer service available. whenever i have an issue or question it is answer and problems solved within reasonable time frames.

I have been in Payroll/HR for about 10 years, iSolved is the only platform I have ever used and in that time, they have made my job super easy. I use them for payroll, time keeping, Cobra, reporting & benefit tracking. Easy to work with, customer service has been great, processing and filing have been simple and easy. We have never had a problem running payroll, and when I have made mistakes on my end, they have always been great to work with to get the issue resolved. I like low maintenance and iSolved has never caused troubles or headaches in anything I have needed them for. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like the custom report writer could be easier to work with. However, whenever I have needed a special report to be created, they have always been helpful in either finding a report that already has what I need or creating one for me.

They don't respond to emails, they mess up payroll repeatedly, you have to beg them over and over again for a response, It's been the worst vendor nightmare of my 25 year career since our old payroll company was taken over by them in late 2025. Now I'm getting tax notices because they filed our payroll taxes incorrectly and I still can't get anyone to be responsive. As soon as we are out of busy season they are fired.

When it works, payroll does get processed. I can give them that! However, the User Interface is horrible, navigating and finding what you need is impossible. Support is horrible, it is so bad they hide the ability to access it, aside from an AI chat window

They still haven’t sent an insurance reimbursement check after several weeks. One person said it was sent. Now, they’re saying I need to call who does our payroll; however, they don’t have anything to do with it. I keep getting the runaround. My customer experience has been awful. I will avoid using them in the future at all possible and strongly suggest to our organization to find another company to use.
