This should be a zero star. I bought a dress and the quality is extremely poor and asked to return it and i was told to return it to the factory in china at my own expense. I posted the dress May last year and today April 2026, the dress has been returned back to me as the address is not valid.
Very disappointed.

If I could leave zero stars on this review, I definitely would have. I ordered a dress for a wedding back in April 2025, it was £50, it took about 3 weeks to arrive. The quality did not match with the how it’s advertised on the actual website, so I had to purchase something else to wear to the wedding, what a waste of time! the material was awfully thin, you’d think the dress is 5 pounds, and not only that, the company makes it out like they’re selling items from the uk, but it’s actually from china. I contacted them and asked if I could return the dress, and they told me that I’d have to pay £30 just to return the dress. AVOID this company at all costs!!

if you don’t want a hassle returning items, then do not buy from this disgraceful company!

I bought 2 dresses as a present for my Mum. They were advertised as cotton. They were delivered late and are polyester. The company didn’t respond to my first 2 messages about returning them. Only when, on the advice of my credit card company, I started using the language of consumer protection did they respond. They’ve twice asked me to send evidence even though I already have and they obviously know these items are not as advertised. Now they’re saying I need to pay return postage from the UK to the US, which I don’t. They’re just chancing it. Clearly a scam. Don’t order from them.

This website makes it look like the order comes from uk. When you order, the delivery tracker make it look like the item is coming from France but it's actually China. I ordered the item in April for an event in June. It took 6 weeks to deliver and came too late, the fit was too short and I didnt want to keep it.

I was asked to send videos of me wearing the item but just wanted a refund, as had to pay for a new item for the event. Sucked up the £20 cost to return as the original item cost me £80. I have still not had my refund and in total it's cost me £100. Do not order from here, it's a complete scam

Beware of this company. The jumper I ordered was nothing like the picture, it was the worst quality I have ever seen and it had a hole in it. I emailed then (as per their policy) and received a reply saying I had to use the email address in their returns info, which was exactly the same address! I replied saying that is the address I had used, and I never heard anything back, that was 6 weeks ago. This company is a scam. I cannot believe that any of the positive reviews are authentic.

Sadly a very poor quality dress arrived it had black stitching on a white garment the material was thin and it looked awful . I insisted on a return due to it being defective and ended up with a return address in America the postage costs were huge

If I could have given no stars I would have. When I emailed them before buying a dress they were very quick to answer however when I had contacted them on Facebook, instagram, their contact form and email several time for a return and refund I got ignored. The dress that I was sent looked nothing like the picture and was really badly made. Luckily i used my credit card and got the money refunded through the bank but this website are definitely scamming people…..they’ve eventually contacted my bank and have tried to say I did not contact them about a refund…avoid at all costs

I ordered the dress thinking it was a UK shop. However, it turned out that it was from China. Artificial dress. No access to the return only by e-mail. No response. They scammed me for the money, leaving me a Chinese dress worth 2 f. If I wanted to buy Chinese, I would order it. Scammers!!! Don't buy from Isabellamae. No product returns. The product is different from the picture. You are not fooled.

The dress was so much different as it look on the photo, very small, inferior quality, very short size looked like a top on me. I tried to returned they asked me to pay £14.95 for exchange, I am not happy to receive an exchange as the quality of dress is very very very poor. PLEASE DON'T BE A VICTIM ON THIS SHOP, BIG SCAMMERS, STAY AWAY FROM THEM YOU WILL THANK ME LATER.

Item looks like picture but very poor fit .
Can’t go straight to returns have to contact Isabellamae via email. Outcome had to take video of size and what I bought. ? Why as they know what was ordered.
Been offered one that fits but you have to pay for returns.
I am waiting on reply as don’t want replacement want refund. I have explained the size they send would probably be exactly the same with the poor fitment leading to having to fold the thick waist band down to improve slighty but still poor fit.
Won’t ever use this site again.
Thought it was a UK site but no China
Had further email today offering free return and item that fits for free or a voucher. Still don’t feel it’s a site I would use as initially thought it was a UK site

Do not touch this company - it is a scam. My dress was not as advertised and it is impossible to return it for a refund.

Size labels cut out. Poor quality and product not like the website! Avoid. Product despatched from China - my order took just over 14 calendar days.

The dress I received is not the one depicted on their website.It looks unfinished .It is baggy and has no buttons onthe front bodice.I tried contacting them via the email address given on their site but the address does not exist. They are based in Hong Kong so phone call would be expensive

Such a long wait and what a terrible disappointment. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The quality is so awful, I can't believe I've spent out on this garment. I'm really cross with myself for not doing more research. The photo shows a jumper with style,form and shape. The jumper that arrived bore no resemblance at all to the photo and this shapeless, thin piece will be recycled immediately.

IssabellaMae is a scam do not order from them. I ordered a dress, it looks like a cheap nightie which I wouldn't buy in a million years. Impossible to email or call. Don't waste your money also none of their email addresses work and the phone is out of order. I'm resigned to the fact I've lost money but save yours.

This company is a disgrace. The dress I received has no resemblance to the advertised article; poor quality material and nothing like the colour. It seems almost impossible to obtain a returns form which is necessary to claim a refund. All genuine firms have an online system to obtain a label. I feel I have been scammed, as have other reviewers. I very much doubt that I will see my money again.

DO NOT shop here. This is not a UK website and the name is misleading. The sizing is off so do not go by the size chart and the quality is absolutely awful. Customer service offered a refund after asking me for photos to prove that the size chart is off-I am a size 8/10. The item they sent me is 12/14 and awful quality. We have been communicating about a refund and they will not cover the return costs. I said it’s cheaper if a family member went to Hong Kong and personally returned it. They offered me 20% then 30% to keep the item and I have finally responded begrudgingly to this after weeks of emails, and then said they won’t do this now as it is past the return window. They would not acknowledge the UK consumers act cited (I used to work in retail and had to know my stuff about this). PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I have never seen anything like this before in terms of awful awful quality and a ‘customer service’ that are laughing at making money off you with no intention to support missold and misadvertised items. The items were not worth £15+ to return to Hong Kong. Absolute jokes! I also strongly suspect their positive reviews are disingenuine and not written by their consumers. I do not know how they are getting away with posing as a UK company and I have reported them.

For return email bounced back and tel no does not exist - so overall a scam , so please avoid !

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - GOODS TOOK WEEKS TO ARRIVE, POOR QUALITY, TRYING TO GET A REFUND IS BEYOND IMPOSSIBLE AND THEY ONLY NOW SHIP FROM AND RETURN TO CHINA. THE UK ADDRESS IS A FRONT
