iPhotography Course Recensioni 

I am still on the first module. There are several reasons for this. The first is that I don't seem to be able to switch from my iPad to my PC and I don't always feel like studying on my PC.

The second reason is that the course is screens followed by a test. There is no text to print. I HATE THAT. I have to write down the information and that is very time-consuming. I would much prefer to be able print and highlight information. That is the way I learn best. If I had known that the course was solely screens then I would not have signed up for it.

I am hoping that once I get back to it, I will find the course interactive in that I am to take my camera and take photos and that will motivate me to slog through the screens.

I have enjoyed this course very much. There were very good tips and insites to particular styles of which I have applied to my own photography. The course forced me to think about the shot before I took the shot, asking myself questions why shoot this way and why shoot that way. With experience I learned to visualise the shot before taking the shot. It has enhanced my way of looking at things and the surprising thing is that I have learned more about myself as a photographer and defined my own individual style as a photographer.

Great for beginners or very good refresher.

I read thru module one (I thought) and then saw the message at the bottom of the screen to take the test.

Sooooo, I took the test.

I immediately noticed that I was being asked questions about things that were not covered in module one.
By reading very carefully and what little knowledge I had, I did succeed in comp[letting the test with a 100%. ( I was very lucky)

So after taking the test I went back and found all the good information that I missed the first time through.

This course is extremely well organized and it's content is very thorough. It has wonderful graphics and interesting ways of providing additional information such as tips and questions. The unit tests include questions that really hit on the main concepts of the content. I love the way I can rewrite or check my success levels for each unit. Although I have not finished the course (you can work at your own pace), I look forward to each time I sit down to work on it and feel that every day I learn something new.

Photography class ONLINE that actually seems to be teaching me something. Some online classes aren't great! This one is easy to use, navigate and submit assignments. Do Love It!

I am 100% happy with the facility available with this course, especially since we can continue at our own pace and dependent on available time that we have to do it.
Also extremely impressed that we have life long access to the course material and website.

This course is informative regardless of how much you may already know about photography. It's enjoyable, well written, and you can pace yourself. Reality is it's a bit like Pringles and once you start you won't stop til it's finished :)

This course covers a wide range of basic and introduces some more advanced topics. It provides a helpful review for the person who has done a lot of photography and a great introduction for a person who is just learning.

It does need some English editing. Since I work as a university faculty member, the poorly expressed English is sometimes a little distracting.

Course was really organized and well prepared, I liked it and learnt a lot along the way. Things were put in a simple way for a beginner.

I really enjoyed the first 16 Modules and learnt a lot, however, the final 2 modules I found extremely difficult to manage, I felt that the trainer was not sufficiently prepared for the tutorials that were delivered, he made a few mistakes which were not edited out of the final tutorial and, to be honest, photoshop does not interest me as a photographer as much as the actual taking of a picture. I understand that modifications may need to be made to some photographs but the amount of editing and modifications that were given in modules 17 and 18, in my opinion, were unnecessary and perhaps could be offered as an 'add-on' to the initial programme.
I also would like to know if it's possible, having completed the programme, to download the course material. I learnt a lot but would love to have notes, as I would have from other programmes, so that I can refer to them and broaden my knowledge.

One fifth of the way through the course and I am very happy with the course.

This course will not make you an accomplished photographer, but it will certainly help you on your way.
Couple of things that would have improved the content for me:
1) being able to select modules from a menu, with a minimal number to complete to achieve the certificate. That way, the student can make it more personalized and specic to their requirements. I thought overall the course was great, but in a couple of modules my motivation did wane as I had no interest eg travel photographry or the diary. Some modules could be mandatory.
2) I got through the course without submitting any work, I think it should be made compulsory that at least 3-5 photos be submitted for review. Simply because it should ensure that practical skills have been taught and understood and able to be implemented. Otherwise, its just a theory course.

This photography course starts out for beginners and gives you the vital information to become a professional. I also like the assignments and feedback you can get from the company.

As a complete novice I found this course extremely valuable to my development as photographer.

for an online class I learned some new things. It was helpful. Having a little bit different camera makes it a little harder, but again, I did learn some helpful things. Thanks!

A niece gave me this course as a gift.I have a somewhat artistic bent and could take decent to good photos, but I knew I could do better and was so pleased to receive this program. iPhotography has helped me watch for composition, lighting, focus, etc, etc. and that it's okay to touch up that picture that's almost perfect but has a couple of slight -- or major -- flaws.I've enjoyed sharing my efforts with the tutors and with other students. They have all contributed to my success in this course. I really appreciate it.

I learned so much in 2 modules. You learn the fundamentals of equipment, terminology, lenses, formats and so much more. It's totally worth every penny.

The iphotography course was really great in that it was flexible. I could learn when I wanted wherever I wanted. The only reason I have put 4 stars is because some units seemed to 'drag on' as there were hidden sections. So as opposed to having multiple units there would be pages upon pages within the course which made it seem a little dry. Other than that it was awesome and I would totally recommend it to anyone.
