Extremely rude staff! I took my car for an MOT this morning and was truly shell shocked at how rude the member (maybe even management) was to me. Rude at drop off and again at pick up.

Aw I said rude at drop off but pick up I was lost for words..... I walked into the office and spoke to a customer about their car currently having it's MOT done and watching their car being shaken about by the machine. No staff member was present in the office at this point (absolutely fine, I don't mind waiting) as I was talking to the customer about his car (all I said was, "I was watching the car being shaken as I was walking up to the garage, it's cool isn't it") so not a long conversation in the slightest with the customer.

After I said these words a man appeared behind the desk, starred at me with a plain expression, I smiled and said "hi, I'm here for the volvo" and he replied with "I don't even know it it's finished" whilst looking on his desk for my keys I said "oh it's parked on the path out there" (not with an attitude or tone but I did know that it had passed as I had checked online which is why I headed back to the garage) he replied with "that doesn't mean anything" with a toned response.... The next question was "paying by card?" Not your car has passed / failed, yes it's ready, how would you like to pay? ..... So I said "can I pay my cash please?" With my purse in my hard and he again repeated the question but in a louder tone "are you paying by card?" so I said "oh right okay, card it is." I believe even the customers seemed taken a back by the tone and attitude he had towards me when I turned to look at them from feeling shocked by it myself.

He then said "you can pay cash if you really want" no smile, just a stern face that he had the whole time, which was telling me that cash was going to be a bigger problem for him and in all honesty I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as I could. I said "no, it's fine" paid and then said "thank you and left" I believe his response was 'bye' or maybe even a 'thank you' I honestly don't know but I wasn't waiting around to hear it.

I don't know if he was having a bad day, but sadly I got the brunt of it or he is generally like that to everyone? But I will not be returning back there for an MOT and I will be informing others of the customer service I've just received!

Just taken my ageing car to this Company for it's M.O.T.,following family reccomendation.Absolutely first-class,straightforward service,no hidden surprises,clear and honest from arrival/reception to leaving at completion,a refreshing change from some previous M.O.T.experiences over many years. Would reccomend to others and submit my thanks to all concerned in running this Company.From a very grateful Peugeot 407 owner.

I had my car MOT done on Saturday afternoon, I was so nervous about the outcome,( as I always am ) . The gentlemen and I mean gentlemen, they were polite, friendly and kept me updated as to how it was going. There is a waiting room it's clean and tidy. I will recommend these guys and the I ONLY MOT workshop in Grimsby.

Avoid this place like the plague, very rude staff and owner parked in wrong place in error got shouted at and abused by them absolutely shocking customer service

Had my car MOTed today at Grimsby, friendly, very efficient and professional.
Will definitely be using again. 10/10 .

I used the website to book my car in. I found the process quick and easy.
I arrived early and sat and waited in the carpark. The mechanic spotted me and came out and asked if he could start early. Bonus.
The waiting area was warm and comfy.
Whole process lasted 35 minutes.
Couldn't fault them. Brilliant service.

We made a slight error and hadn't realised our MOT was due to expire the day before we were due to go on holiday, unfortunately we made this discovery the day before we were due to drive to the airport. I contacted 'Ionlymot' ( in a bit of a panic) explained the situation and within 30 mins our car was having it's MOT, I honestly cannot express how grateful I was to the staff and how much I appreciated their help, there was no judgement, I know it was my fault but they just helped us and it was all over in about an hour. Certificate in hand we were more than happy with the super efficient service and customer care. They even gave us NHS discount! Thank you so much.

Booked my car in for MOT at I Only MOT on Pyewipe in Grimsby. Great service, very friendly and helpful. No messing about. Will use again.
