Lucy has been so helpful during the process of booking our wedding. We wouldn’t have secured our dream venue and date without her. We are now in the capable hands of our planner Rachel. Both Lucy and Rachel have always been really responsive to emails etc and have patiently answered our many questions. Thank you, both!

Wow!! What an amazing experience we had with Ionian Weddings from start to finish.
For planning a wedding in a completely different country I thought would be beyond stressful but Ionian weddings definitely takes that stress away.
Myself and my partner Michael, got married in Massa Lubrense, Italy, September 2024, we had our whole day over at Relais Blu, with our reception down in the Lemon Grove Garden (which was absolutely beautiful with STUNNING views) then up the top on the terrace for our evening. The photos don’t do the venue justice!
From first emailing to enquire about our special day, straight up to the day itself, I had great communication from start to finish.
Our Wedding Consultant Maria, was amazing all throughout and was very quick at responding to emails and answering any questions I had throughout the planning. She was amazing at keeping on top of everything!
On our special day we had two co-ordinators Viola and Rosaria who made the day SO SMOOTH, they made sure everything was on time and running smoothly that we could enjoy our day to the max.
Thank you so much for handling our special day and if we could, we’d do it all again! Italy will now and forever be our second home and have such a special place in our hearts ❤️

WOW! What a fantastic experience - we first enquired with Ionian back in June 2023. From the first Enquiry to being assigned with a wedding planner (Emma) we were carefully taken through the process. Our 'simple' wedding in Italy did end up being rather more exciting but we wouldn't have changed a thing. Once we arrived in Italy our most wonderful (on the ground planner) Viola checked every detail and was just so lovely! On the day everything was more than perfect, the venue (The Cloisters) was set out beautifully, it is open to the public but everyone was respectful and to be honest we didn't notice and it really is all part of being in Italy. The photographer (Umberto) and the Filmographer (Michaela) met with us and did a great job - we booked the video rather last min but it's one of our favourite things - a great memory to keep. The reception at Castore was beautiful; the team are a family and are so great - everything was considered. The table settings and decorations were perfect. The food was faboulous, and the cake was just as we wanted. Everything was done to ensure our party was wonderful. Our guests had a great time and still talk about it. We can honestly say we had the most amazing day with our family and friends. If your in any doubt - don't be I would recommend Ionian for any of my friends.

We decided to get married in Sorrento, Italy and used Ionian Weddings due to the positive reviews and comprehensive, reasonably priced packages available.
Although slightly apprehensive - as we have never attended a wedding abroad - we certainly weren't disappointed. The booking process and wedding arrangements all ran smoothly as a result of the help and support from our UK planner Maria and Viola in Sorrento made sure everything ran to plan on the big day!
We were married in Sorrento and had our reception at Villa Antiche Mura and I can honestly say the experience of the day exceeded all our expectations - together with those of our guests. As well as the beautiful surroundings the food, service and attentiveness of the staff was of a very high standard and I cannot think of one negative aspect to mention.
Sorrento is a beautiful place to visit and an absolutely perfect place to celebrate a wedding, we would highly recommend it!

100% recommend Ionian weddings if you're planning a wedding abroad. I was super skeptical about getting married abroad due to it being 'unknown' but the company were incredible. If anything, it was actually so much easier than planning a wedding in the UK as the planner (in our case the incredible Rachel) took care of everything.

No question was ignored, and everything was taken care of. Then to mention the venue! Well, we got married in Santorini at Le Ciel and I cannot recommend enough. Every thing was perfect, and was truly like a dream come true. We had a planner at the wedding day who made everything run perfectly, and I didn't have any stresses at all!

If you're considering a wedding abroad then 100% use Ionian Weddings, they truly are amazing!

We recently got married at Thermes Villas, Santorini. Ionian weddings took care of everything for us, and I honestly don't have enough words to express how utterly amazing our wedding day was!! Rachel handled everything on our side, and she was superb, replying straight away to any queries or concerns. Solving any problems and trying to enable us in any way possible to create our dream day. Giannis and voula were in Santorini to greet us and make our day seamless and beautiful!! Every suggestion they made at our pre wedding meeting made the day even better than we could of imagined.Absoloute professionals all round!! The service we received off ionian was faultless and absoloute perfection!!! If I could do it all over again, I honestly wouldn't change a single thing!!! It was perfect ❤️❤️

Ionian weddings made our day absolutely perfect. The whole process using them was completely stress free and easy. We were lucky enough to get Emma as our wedding coordinator who is an absolute gem! All you have to do is pick your location, they sort out all the small details and let you know exactly what paper work you need. On the day all we had to do was turn up and enjoy! I absolutely recommend using Ionion weddings.

Planning a wedding, especially abroad, is a huge and stressful undertaking. I can safely say Ionian Weddings not only made it possible but completely surpassed our expectations throughout the entire process.

Myself and my now wife were married in Santorini, Greece at a beautiful venue called El Viento. It is hard to call a day perfect, particularly a wedding day, but this was as close as it gets.

Our UK planner, Rachel, was with us every step of the way supporting and organising our day. No request was too big despite being very busy organising multiple weddings. We felt very cared for and looked after.

In Greece, our lovely facilliator Voula made sure every detail was considered and executed flawlessly.

We personally felt the fees were very reasonable considering the wedding landscape. Ionian have a great system where you pick your base package at a set fee but can add on / upgrade aspects to your specification whilst keeping close control of the cost.

For anyone unsure on whether to go ahead and work with Ionian for a dream destination wedding I can only say, from our experience, to go ahead and take the plunge.

Our wedding felt like something out of a film and the feedback we received from guests was incredible.

Emma was fantastic, all our questions were answered so quickly. She really put us at ease and supported us every step of the way. We got married at the end of July in Sorrento and had the most incredible day thanks to Ionian weddings! Emma was so helpful and happy to answer any questions we had- she really made the whole process so easy! When we got to Italy Anna was so reassuring and helped to show us our venue and go through every detail- the whole day was so smooth and exactly what we wanted so thank you so much!

My husband and I got married 2 weeks ago at San Galgano Abbey in Tuscany, Italy, and we can honestly say we had the best day of our lives and this is all down to the incredible planning, guidance and support from Ionian Weddings! Maria was our wedding planner based here in England and right from the start, she was there to answer our million-and-one questions and nothing was too much for her to sort, even when adding extra bits on just a couple of weeks before the wedding date. She also offered in some of her own ideas which we absolutely loved and helped to make our day even more special, for example for our Prosecco tower, she suggested having fountain sparklers at this point which truly made a magical moment on our special day! Communication was fantastic, emails were answered promptly and our video calls with Maria also helped to set plans in place.
During our wedding day, we had Serena who coordinated our wedding out in Italy, along with Nico from the venue itself. Both were absolutely incredible - Serena could tell that we were nervous about how everything would come together and she went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything and couldn’t have been anymore attentive on the day.
Every tiny little detail of our wedding day was planned to perfection - the table decor was just stunning, the flowers matched our ‘sunset colour’ theme perfectly and our vision that we sent in photos truly came to life!!
If you are thinking of having your wedding abroad, we couldn’t recommend Ionian weddings enough - they are just FANTASTIC and we feel so lucky to have had Maria, Serena and all the team in helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! Thank you!!

We recently got married in the beautiful palm tree gardens in Portugal.
We both honestly couldn’t have asked for any thing more. It was amazing!!!! A huge thank you to every one. Emma was fantastic, as was Maria. On the day we had Marta ensuring everything went perfectly. And perfect it was. We are so glad we chose Ionian weddings. If you are thinking of booking your wedding abroad then use Ionian! They were fantastic right through from planning with Rachel through to Giannis and Vola in santorini! Even changing some things right up untill the day! Everyone couldn’t have helped us anymore and I have no complaints about our wedding at all! It all ran very smoothly. I wish we could re do it everyday!!! I keep reliving our day everyday!
I didn’t feel stressed throughout the planning due to Ionian, they did it all!

Dana villas is so so beautiful and the service there was amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the events manager was extremely helpful and the staff were polite and helpful! The food there is fantastic! Everyone has commented on the foot and the wine was lovely aswell! The events manager did everything he could to enable us to have a fantastic day! Everything ran according to plan!
