Started work on the house last November still not finished. Broke my window and bath panel agreed to pay for damages. Now unable to get any answer from them not sure if company gone bust

Our boiler had its annual service on the
16 May 2024.
The engineer by the name of Paul arrived at the suggested time and soon got to work.
The service was carried out in a professional manner with Paul having time to explain about the relevant procedure.
All in all we are very happy with our experience.
Invictus Call Out
Had to make a call to Invictus after the pressure in the boiler dropped. From the initial phone call to them to the subsequent visit from the engineer, the service was excellent. The engineer, Paul was great and very helpful.

Well worth it….
Given the importance of full documentation of services when selling a house, the annual service with Invictus is ideal for me. I get a reminder when due, the engineer turns up on time with appropriate credentials, the service and paperwork gets done and I’ve got peace of mind. Priceless.

We recently had a lot of work done by the guys at invictus. From the guys in the office to all the people who came to do the work we were made up with the service we recieved. Phils team did an excellent job and went above and beyond what we expected. They put our mind at ease every step of the way. They even did a bit of dogsitting when we were let down by the people we organised to look after her. Our house is so warm now and we're so happy. We even got a brand new boiler in place of our old noisy boiler. So a big thank you to everyone at invictus. You are all amazing. From 2 very happy and very warm customers (and 1 little dog too)

Got a quote from Invictus Energy Group for a new gas boiler and installation. They rang straight back to me and booked a day to look at the property and give a price. Price was reasonable. Now I know why it was reasonable. They came back four times to try and sort the mess and poor workmanship out and in the end they were told to go away and we could do a lot better job than they were doing.They had to upgrade the gas pipe which they put in a completely different place than the old pipe. They put the new gas pipe over the back door so when you opened it the gas pipe rubbed on the top of the door, they had to come back and sort this out so they put a screw under the gas pipe to lift it above the door. They had to come out again to sort it properly. whilst using the gas burner they didn’t put anything behind it to stop it burning anything so a burnt mess was left, marks also left on the work surface. The new gas pipe ran across the ceiling, above the window which looked a right mess so they said they would box it in for us. They came back to do it with small pins and glue. The boxing fell off so they had to go and buy drill and hammer which they didn’t have with them. Paint came off the wall because of the glue when they tried to scrape it off. That’s when they were told to go away. Never thought I would see cowboys actually in action. They were paid as soon as the job was done. Sent 3 emails requesting a receipt but they can’t be bothered to reply, even though they rang every day for payment even when the job had not been completed.
Exceptional service
The level of service from Invictus was exceptional. The engineer turned up exactly when he said he would, he did everything he had to do in a clean and tidy manner and was friendly and easy to speak to and ask questions.
3 Attempts to get an OK result
========UPDATE========
Following the posting of this review, nearly 3 months after the damage was caused, I was emailed by Invictus Energy Group again. This time they offered to fix the damage and deduct £100 from the outstanding balance but only if I removed this review.

The job was to remove old fibre roll insulation, clean up between joists and then install Celotex 60mm PIR boards that I provided.
When the job was quoted for I said to them on the phone, that doesn't sound right based on how long it took me to do 1/3 of the loft but they assured me it would be done correctly and in one day.
Job started ok, old insulation was removed but between joists wasn't cleaned up before the installation of the PIR boards started.
I checked when the job was "completed" and with a quick glance they all looked ok.
When I finished work and was able to thoroughly check the installation of the PIR boards, 99.9% of them had been cut incorrectly, with the sides of the boards cut at a 45degree angle along the entire length.
Most of them were also poorly fitted and not tight between the joists.
At this point £195 deposit has been paid, 1/3 of the overall quoted price, and 6 PIR boards have been rendered useless (£200).
2nd May - Job was "completed"
3rd May - I raised the issues with the installation and provided pictures
5th May - Post-install Survey was done and obvious issues with installation identified
After months, (August was their 2nd attempt and the job was started in May) of back and forth with their customer service, which is also appalling, and having to raise a small claims court case, they eventually sent out another team.
The team wasn't given enough new PIR boards to replace the old ones and tried to use the old boards that were incorrectly cut.
They managed to do 60% of the boards to an ok standard, but the fact they didn't do 100% meant I had to spend hours of my own time to go back through and check all the PIR boards again.
They hadn't cleaned up between the joists either.
They had to come out for a 3rd time and replace the 40% that was badly installed.
During the second attempt they broke a piece of plasterboard.
On their 3rd attempt they put some filler over the plasterboard and left that as fixed and I'm now trying to find a plasterer to sort it out.
Avoid at all costs. Luckily I'm in a position that I can get in the loft and check their work, wonder how many people have had work done that they've not been able to inspect that has been done incorreclty
