While this kit has great promise I don't find the lessons detailed enough to do even the first few lessons without significant prior knowledge. I bought this for my 12 year old, but am struggling on my own.
The 25 minute videos have good knowledge, but are slow and fail to hold even my attention. Following the steps for Day 3 is not giving the desired results, and attempting to leave feedback says I'm leaving duplicate response.

I enjoy the Lost in Space project. I purchased a kit with a corrupted board and invented kits replaced it. I now can continue to learn and experiment with skills I glean from this program.

The videos are well done and fun to do. Teaches well and even though I'm 75 and technically challenged, I can follow it and enjoy it. Recommend the kit and videos to all who might want to catch up with current technology as a hobby.

Great refresher for me, I did this with an 8052 about 35 years ago. It also helps me spend some daddy / daughter time with my 15 year old.

I learned a lot and had fun with the Lost in Space kit. The kit was shipped promptly and came packed very well. The one problem I had was corrected quickly and easily. Will definitely be doing a lot more of the lessons and challenges. Thank you

As and adult with no prior coding experience I decided to embark on the 30 days in space adventure. I received the kit on time and immediately got emails from inventr.io welcoming and offering assistance, help and bonus projects. The ability to ask questions or having them as a resource is invaluable. So far, I have been able to progress on my own at a slow pace due to my busy work as a physician but I find the kit is wonderful and can’t imagine how younger minds will enjoy this learning adventure

This is a great program; my only concern would be that the script is not located beneath the video.

I have purchased the Lost in Space kit when it was first released, then forgot about it for a while. I have since recently picked it back up.

I have been enjoying the tutorials and training so far, Payment and Delivery of my kit was relatively painless, the only issue was I pre-ordered and had to wait for everything to be in order.

Since that day I have had no other issues.

It's not just great products and ideas that make inventr.io so unique. It's the thoughtful user support - the genuine care, the encouragement provided to those just starting out, and the overall mission to bring fun and learning together that makes this company so special. I wish them every success - and the same for everyone who takes the plunge and immerses themselves this awesome hobby. I only wish it had been possible to have this kit when I was learning the ropes with a hands on radionics kit in the early 70's! It would have been a dream come true...

As far as the 30 Day Adventure Kit goes, I'm very disappointed. The instruction videos seem to be often adlibbed, disorganized and are very poor at teaching either circuits or coding as the advertising claims. I would have preferred written material in a pdf walking me through organized lessons with detailed explanations rather than poor videos using up my limited internet data and teaching me only to copy and paste.
I also purchased the 37 sensor kit. It arrived crammed in a plastic bag with damaged and unidentified components. No information could be found on the Inventrio website other than more videos. Thankfully Radio Shack customer service was able to link me to an 81 page tutorial from the original Chinese manufacturer which is a big help. Radio Shack says they will stand behind any components that don't work, but how will I know if they are not working because I am doing something wrong or were they damaged in the shipping heap. In general I disappointed in Inventrio.

Not bad, not bad at all. It had good coverage with plenty of support material. This looks to be just the beginning for Inventr. I do believe that Inventr 2.0 will blow people away.

The content isn't well done. Videos are missing. They say they're in the process of updating the videos but they won't provide any clarity on when new videos might be ready.

This is the best coding experience I have ever had.

So the Lost in space kit was a fun and affordable package that can teach some coding logic and circuitry. It has been fun learning some of the logic behind code, as I am certainly not a coder! I am not sure of the target age group but I found it fun and challenging. This is not just a simple circuit that makes a bulb glow! Bottom line, it was fun.

Austin, I really appreciate the great personal customer service and the feeling of being a part of a big community of hobbyists! I understand there are always pain points to start up. Again, thank your for sticking in there for us. We will keep going on our end as happy consumers.

Got the lost in space kit. It has lots of fun little projects to build that progressively help you learn about how to control devices with the microprocessor. Had a hardware issue but their customer service was excellent and handled it quickly to resolve my issue.

Only problem I've had over the months I've been using Inventr is that twice I went to log in and the site was down. The site and materials themselves though? Highly recommend. Tons of fun and the material is always interesting

I recently purchased the 30 Days Lost in Space Kit, as it looked like a fun concept and saw great reviews. I was very disappointed in the videos and teaching. The programmer presenting the course made very many mistakes for someone who is supposed to teach this. The concepts weren't clearly explained so much of it was "hookup wires like this and run this program... whee!" I think more money was spent on video graphics than content. Unscripted, probably without even so much as an outline, and every episode seemed like a one-take and done. There couldn't have been any beta testers or even alpha before the course was released, given the problems, and from looking in the comments section. I even believe one of the quiz questions was incorrect (I've been in Embedded Software development long than the presenter has been alive, trust me.) I think they're redoing the courseware, we'll see how that goes. The theme is cute, but they should have a serious sidebar that explains the concepts and devices being introduced in each episode, and links to more information. As the current version stands, it seems more like a High School Science project. I think their hearts are in the right place though, and I look forward to more from them once they straighten it out.
