Intura Travel Recensioni 

We used Intura Travel to book a self-guided two-day bicycle ride through the Luberon hill villages of Provence in late September 2025. Communication was excellent both during our decision-making process and while we were on the trip. They happily accommodated our request to modify their standard five-day itinerary to suit our needs. The materials provided -- written instructions and the GPX file for navigation -- were excellent. The e-bikes we rented were of high quality and fun to ride. We appreciated that Intura routed us on small scenic roads with little car traffic. The company offers three levels of accommodations to suit different tastes. We loved our trip and would happily travel again with Intura.

Intura did a great job organizing the trip and the hikes. The hikes we did were remarkable and memorable. The drivers Intura hired were great. They were most willing to modify the printed itinerary based on our needs and desires. We do have one recommendation. Two of our hotels were well out of the towns on the islands. That meant we were pretty much stuck at that hotel restaurant for meals. The inn on São Jorge served good meals, the one on Pico were passable, but not really good. We might recommend that Intura provide a choice for clients to stay at a nicer or more convenient inn, at an additional price. Intura could also make a point of choosing a better inn. We realize that the choices are limited on these islands, but it might well be worth investigation. Rest assured that we did enjoy ourselves.

September 15-22, 2025 Les Verdon Gorges cycle tour. Nadia did a fantastic job of planning our trip. The cycle routes were spectacular with some of the best tarmac conditions we have cycled in Europe. The vistas were fantastic, beautiful and breathtaking as were the side trip hikes. Our lodging and hosts were gracious and friendly and well prepared. The food was fabulous at all of the hotels and restaurants that were booked for us. We have now taken 4 cycle tours and 2 hiking tours with InturaTravel and they always do an excellent job with the planning, coordination, logistics, bike vendors and guides, communications and follow-up. We look forward to another trip organized by Nadia and InturaTravel in the future. Thank you!

A fantastic cycling trip in Provence thanks to Intura. Amazing routes, fantastic hotels and super bikes! It was great being able to customise routes so that my husband could ride Mont Ventoux while I was able to pick up gentler routes in the area.

We went on a 3 day ebike trip in Provence. The trip was amazing. As an Australian family of 6 with 4 children between 15 and 23 it was a perfect adventure. We were really delighted how little of the trip was on any busy roads. of the 150km we did down to le Carmargue, there was only 5km of road with any sort of traffic... even then there were designated cycle lanes and all drivers were respectful... It was trully amazing, you spend nearly all your time on deserted laneways, country roads going through quiet villages, vineyards, olive plantations, historical sites and even roman ruins.
The direction instructions from Intura were fantastic. I only had to consult google maps 2 times in 3 days : The instructions are clear and having them in the clear folder at the handlebars made all the difference. So make sure you get the bike man to put the handlebar attachement that holds the perfectly sized direction booklet. the resturant recommendations and historical detail in the booklet are a highlight as well... Its great to go into a little village or pass an Abbey and have some details you can read out... as a note none of the family rides bikes, the ebikes made it effortless

We used this company to book a short hiking package in the Dordogne River Valley in southern France. Communication was excellent, all the materials came in a timely manner, and the trip itself was fabulous. We had excellent hotels and our routes were extremely clear. (Be sure to use the .gpx files that they send- this really helped with our navigation!) Thank y’all so much for such a wonderful service!

Intura Travel were easy to communicate with via email and answered quickly. The walks in the “Mercantour hiking: Alpine lakes and rock carvings” tour were spectacular. The GPX files of the routes were great in addition to the route notes. Different options for walks per day made adjustment to the actual weather conditions easier. It was really convenient to have the hotels and meals pre-booked. The chosen accommodation were really good- guest-friendly and very helpful in all ways. This was our first time using a company to organise our trip and it was a very positive experience. Thank you Nadia !

My friend and I enjoyed this trip so much. While the weather was wet some days, we still enjoyed it. It is quite hilly and challenging in places but that's part of the fun of walking holidays. The trip was so well organised by Intura and we stayed in some lovely hotels. I can highly recommend this company. I have been on a number of walking holidays in the past and can honestly say they were one of the best we've booked with. Thank you!

We cycled the Gorges of Verdon, which are possibly the French equivalent of the Grand canyon.
Once you return to the ‘normal’ French countryside, it seems very tame after the grandeur of the Canyon. The rides are varied and there are panoramas of jaw dropping power. It was very hot in both France and the UK at the time of our trip but up in the mountains the air is purer and cooler.
Intura is a small French company with whom we have done 1 other cycling trip.
They provide a very efficient operation, and all the accommodation bookings they made for us, were varied but very good. The route details and GPS were also accurate.

We had an amazing vacation through Intura - Portugal Porto, up the Doro Valley, Lisbon and Sintra. Intura was so accomodating, the hotels booked were amazing!, The taxi drivers Marco and Juan were so kind.
We highly recommend using the Intura service.

I have taken 4 walking trips with Intura and all have been fabulous. I have booked walking trips with 4 other companies and none of them have responded as quickly to my emails. The hotels have always been good, the walking instructions clear and the materials have arrived before my trip.

Nadia put together a wonderful itinerary for us. Detailed Walking notes were provided together with gpx routes which were easily downloadable onto our Garmin device and mobile phone. The hotels were charming. The packed lunches were wonderful, restaurants too. All the taxis arrived on time. The walk from Fontaine de Vaucluse was definitely the hardest. But, it is easily possible to arrange for shorter versions of any of the walks if required. We recommend Intura.

Intura takes great care in choosing both the routes and the accomodations. Each hotel is so conveniently located to explore the village/town on foot, once we reach the new destination.

Hi there. We were four girlfriends walking around Provence. We really loved the variety of hikes that Nadia and the Intura group provided us. Some were very wild feeling and others more civilized through little Provencal towns. The scenery was really beautiful and we got a taste of the Alpilles region, the Luberon and then down to the coast for some hiking in Calenques Park which was spectacular. The boutique hotels we stayed in were wonderful and the French people lovely and helpful. I would definitely use Intura again - in fact one friend is using them to organize a Portugal trip.

Five us were looking for a week-long, town to town hike in Provence and Intura's seemed to check all the boxes. They did that and more. Communications before the trip were excellent. Nadia and her staff always responded quickly and all questions were dealt with effectively. The maps and road book (hiking guide) were very accurate and we were able to do the whole walk without resorting to phone apps. The trails we followed were well chosen with a minimum of paved roads and a wide variety of scenery. The hotels they arranged for us ranged from good to great. They had also suggested another day's hike that was not on our original itinerary. We hesitated but ended out opting to take them up on their suggestion. We're glad we did.

We did the Van Gogh cycle holiday from St Remis to Arles, France. We are seniors over 50. We did it on ebikes and enjoyed every minute.

We walked the "Dordogne: in the Footsteps of Prehistoric Men" shorter, 4 day route, taking the shorter routes each day. We enjoyed it immensely. The taxi and baggage transfers were perfect, always on time. We chose the "charming" hotel category, and both hotels were very good, with excellent restaurants. There was one problem with a track that had changed since the route finder was written, but we figured it out, and it will be changed for upcoming walks. The fourth day we went to Lascaux IV (definitely recommended) and then walked around Montignac rather than doing the loop walk. The scenery was beautiful, especially the second day. It helped that we had perfect weather for the whole walk.

We found travelling with Intura travel really easy. We picked this company because it had the best hiking itinerary for the smaller islands. We had some hiccups arriving due to low mist but Intura sorted it all about for us with no fuss! The drivers were very friendly and had good english- they were happy to change things to suit your hiking style and travel needs. There were good restaurant recommendations and the accommodations were excellent with great Continental breakfasts. I would highly recommend.

Good, well balanced itinerary. We wanted a walking holiday where we didn't need to move on every day, but wasn't centre based either - this was ideal. Route directions, maps and GPX were good. (Although we did have one walk where we were not sent the right GPX file, but it was easy enough to create our own from the map).
We opted for the 'standard' accomodation which was nice and friendly. Taxi transfers worked very well. The taxi driver messaged about 20-30mins before the pick up time to confirm, which enabled us to be on the way before time. This suited us and I'm sure the driver very well.
Would certainly look at using Intura again and even though we are based in the UK, communication has been very good.
