Perfect for my needs

Race Pack 4 has been out on a couple of runs with me in the UK. It sits well on my back and shoulders. It appears to have a good airflow and it didn't create problems with perspiration or sweating across my back. I am now in Western Australia for a couple of weeks and I will be using it to carry additional hydration for the warmer weather and so will get a better idea of exactly how good it is.

It’s very comfortable due to the adjustability mechanisms at the front and back. Well designed pockets enable carrying of phone, keys, gels and water without awkward bouncing or rubbing. It’s easy to forget you are wearing it

Great race pack, lots of storage and very durable. Already head and shoulders above the rest

My Orange Mud vest didn't come with straps for carrying trekking poles, and it would have costed me $30 + shipping just for two sets of elastic straps from their website. Considering that this Inov8 vest doesn't cost much more than that, and it already comes with the pole straps built in, it was a no brainer decision for me to order this vest instead of the overpriced straps! I have taken it on a few trail runs as well as my first ever trail half marathon, and I'm liking it much better than my previous vest. I am a petite female who usually wears XS clothing, and this vest (with all the adjustment straps tightened accordingly) fits me perfectly without having to constantly readjust like I had to do with my Orange Mud vest. It also holds my two 600 mL soft flasks in place in the front two pockets. In addition to plentiful pockets it has, I find the chest bungee straps useful for carrying a small towel in easy reach. The only thing I found it lacking were straps to hold the long straws of my flasks in place, but I was easily able to add plastic zip ties for that purpose. Overall, this vest is a great bargain considering other brands cost the same or more but with fewer pockets/features!

Good quality and price was very reasonable compared to other brands. I like that there is enough pockets for gels, mobile phone and more. The pockets are also very secure.

I like the Racepac 4 which offered me more than the pac it was replacing. However, I find the front fastening a bit clumsy and preferred the front fastening on the racepac pro 8. The zip pocket for phone is rather large and I thought my phone would jump about. Again I preferred the zip pocket in the racepac pro 8. My old pac (not inov8) had a zip on the back of the pac which this pac doesn’t. I ordered the racepac pro 8 which had elements I preferred but it was too big. Inov8 you need to offer an XS as this is a unisex pac. I returned this.

The only issue I have with this is that the zip pocket for your phone is very spacious but it’s netted so when I’m running my phone is constantly bouncing which is a bit annoying, it would be better if the pocket was more secure to stop the bouncing.

Great new pack from Innov certainly does the job on my training trail runs. Excellent product from Innov8 as always.
