I have planned a special trip to India with my daughter for her university graduation. I have been so impressed with Odyssey tours and with Mavis specifically. She has taken the time to understand our needs and she has planned a great first visit to India for us. Mavis has proactively put together a wonderful itinerary and has stayed connected with me through the entire planning stage. I would recommend Mavis and Odyssey tours to anyone who wants to create a unique travel experience. Thank you to Mavis for her help and partnership so far!!

We were very interactive in the booking process and Mavis was an excellent agent. We had two elements of our tour; Delhi and Rajasthan and then Kerala. In Delhi/Rajasthan we were driven by 'Mr Singh' who was the most excellent of all the tour representatives we had. Also in Delhi for the tour of Old Delhi D K Shwarma was a very well informed and sensitive guide, no 2 overall. the other drivers were OK but were not as safe as Mr Singh in what are, to a western view, very trying traffic conditions. One common aspect of the guides that were provided was that they all seemed to have been 'educated' in the sites visited but seemed unable to vary their approach when dealing with curious foreigners. Whilst this is obviously necessary they should learn to be less rigid in their delivery of the facts. Overall the hotels some of which we identified as preferences ahead of the tour were generally very good with one exception, the ITC Mughal in Agra, which in comparison with others was much more oriented to tourism (servicing the visits to the Taj Mahal) and was thus less enjoyable. We stayed in Maidens Hotel in Delhi which was excellent as was Brunton's Boatyard in Fort Cochin, the Raj Palace in Jaipur and the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, all of them especially the latter having excellent staff. All in all a good trip, the only real downside being the hotel in Agra. One aside that was enjoyed by all was the night we visited a home to learn Indian cooking and also a home meal on the Old Delhi tour. Another enjoyable phase of the tour was the two nights on the Houseboat on the Kerala Backwaters, a pretty unique experience. Perhaps the least enjoyable part of the trip was the rail journey from Agra to Jaipur, allegedly in first class but actually more like standard class and a poor meal.

Mavis, our agent with Odyssey tours has been great answering my questions, supplying information i.e. how much to tip drivers, tour guides. Mavis's prompt replies has been great since this is our first time visiting India. We are booked for our tour in March.

Having thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic holiday in India last year, organised by Indiaodysseytours, we had no hesitation in asking the same company to organise our tour of Sri Lanka which starts tomorrow. Our representative, Queenie has worked very hard to get us hotel accommodation during a busy time on the island and has put together a wonderful tour at a very reasonable price, as was last year's. We are very happy with all that Queenie has done for us.

We are now back in the UK after a truly wonderful two week holiday in Sri Lanka, on a tour organised by Queenie of Odyssey Tours. We stayed at six very comfortable hotels and visited some very interesting places, thanks to the tour that was set up for us. We had a very friendly and helpful driver who stayed with us all the time and took us to some interesting restaurants. Maddu also helped pull me up the many steps of Sigiriya, the monumental Rock. As said before the trip, we had full confidence that this holiday would be as successful as last year's in India, and it was, in all regards. I wish to leave a 5 star review for David Li who is an Odyssey Travel Representative. David has been extremely professional from start to finish. David has formulated a well executed itinerary for myself and 10 friends who are due to visit India in March. His experience and knowledge really exemplifies his passion for delivering excellent customer service. Nothing was too much for David and his communications skills were excellent. Any questions I had David always had the answers and if he didn't know he would may sure the response was timely. Excellent job David, I hope one day you will become management, I will book all my group tours if possible with David Li.

Excellent private tour of eighteen day of Northern India with the last three days in Nepal January 3 to January 21, 2017. The tour was arranged by Queenie Yang of India Odyssey tours who was very easy to work with. She found excellent hotels, guides, drivers, and complied an interesting and exciting itinerary. The Odyssey slogan that you are never alone with Odyssey was truthful. It was very comforting for my wife and myself to arrive at airports thousands of miles from home and be met each time by an Odyssey representative and taken by private vehicle to the hotel and helped with checking in. We were informed of the names of our local guide and driver and any questions were answered. It was impressive that Queenie called us during the trip and other Odyssey representatives checked on us during the trip. The local guides were friendly, informative and were always concerned that our trip was meeting our expectations. The drivers were exceptionably skillful as driving in India and Nepal is an adventure in itself. The hotels were wonderful and service outstanding. The food was superb and I even became enamored with vegetarian dishes although there were also non-vegetarian dishes available. The gifts of tea and an umbrella were appreciated.
I look forward to returning to India and Nepal in the future.
