Total SCAM
SCAM, Scam, Scam. if i was having negative rating i would give that to them. i had a gift card which my daughter was given on her birthday. Gift card charged 5 dollars when it was given as a fee. My daughter wanted to use it and found that it doesnt have any money. They were charging 4 dollars per month as maintenance fees of gift card which i heard first time and when i called their customer support they said that it is written in some small fine print. All the money in gift card was used as maintenance and no money was left. they didnt give any notice to me or called anyway or tried to reach out or told buyer these conditions. It is crazy and this company should be stopped doing it and making more fools like me. They are the worst ones. Never have a vanilla gift card.
SCAM!!!!
I wish to goodness I knew about this SCAM of a company before I bought the gift card!! This company strung me along for days while I waited to get my purchase verified. SCAM. Just a call center who keeps telling you to wait another day while they have your money. I'm so angry.
BE AWARE
BE AWARE - got given an online gift card, before I even used it there were fraudulent attempts, a total of $530 has been stolen and they refuse to refund this value despite very clear proof.
Thieves stole my money
This is just an other group of scamming thieves. Purchased a gift card and when I went to use it, it gave an error. Attempts to check balance and transactions also gave an error. I called them on 2/27/2025 and the CSR stated that the card had been deactivated due to suspected fraud. She had me verify my information, where I purchased it, etc. After an hour on the phone, she reactivated the card. I just tried to use the card this evening (5/12/25) and again, the card has been deactivated. I called InComm again. I spent another hour on the phone and at the end of the call, they told me I'm just out the money. They claim the merchant deactivated the card and took the funds back. What?! Of course the merchant can't help me because InComm manages the card AND I bought the card through one of InComm's direct channels. InComm just took my money and told me to pound sand. They're thieves. Do NOT buy ANY gift cards from InComm, whether they are Vanilla or closed-loop. They will deactivate the card and steal your money.
Company scammed me for $500
Company scammed me for $500. Terrible company.
Bought one of these Vanilla Visa Gift…
Bought one of these Vanilla Visa Gift cards in Orlando in Nov of 24. Card was scammed the next day (obviously an inside job at CVS). Put in a claim and actually received a positive outcome, although it took many months. BUT, I live in Canada and there excuse why they cannot refund me is they do not send correspondance (cheque, replacement card which would be no good to me living in Canada anyway as these cards are only good in the USA) So after many phone calls and e-mails the last guy I spoke with states this fact. All other people I spoke with stated they could send me the refund cheque to Canada. He tells me to find a person/address in the USA so they can send the funds.... Like they are available like apples you pick off a tree... What a joke organization. If your reading this review thinking about getting one of these cards, stay away... Especially if you are from another country. Most of them are scammed at the point of sale by shady sales staff.
If I could give a -10 I would
If I could give a -10 I would! I received a Macy's gift card for Christmas and when I went to open the card it looked a little off, like it had been used and the packaging reglued. When I went to use it in the Macy's store, it had been previously used, I live and shop only in NY, the card was used in St. Cloud and purchase shipped to Portland, Oregon. I'm trying to find a number to call to report this but after reading the reviews, it seems this would be a complete waste of time. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau to report this. So disappointed!
I don't know how this company is even…
I don't know how this company is even still operating. Why haven't they been investigated for stealing and shut down? They stole $500 from by gift card. When I opened a fraud claim, they pretend to investigate it but really they are simply stalling. I saw the $500 on the card when I went to securespend.com and typed in all the card info, but a week later all the money mysteriously disappeared. They refuse to send me the transaction history of the card showing me where the money went....obviously they don't want to give it to me because it would show they stole it. I have filed complaints with the BBB, the GA Attorney General's office, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, but honestly, it would be a miracle if I got my $500 back. Stay away from this fraudulent company....zero stars.
Zillionsgifts- Parent Company -Incomm…
Zillionsgifts- Parent Company -Incomm Financial Services, Incomm Payments. Be fore warned. Im in the middle of trying to get my gift card. I seriously doubt im gonna get any it.
I tried to use my zillions gift card. kept getting a error message. Called customer support. They told me it was a security issue and to try back in a few hours. And that I also use a different device. Which I did prior to calling. There are hundreds of negative reviews about Zillionsgifts within the last few months. And as recent as just minutes ago. I assume they are one of those companies that hope you forget about your gift card. And when you try to redeem it. You have trouble and They make it such a hassle to try and fix or get your money back that you just give up. So they are stealing money. Because most just give up. I visited Incomms website. Where it lists an option for customer support for its gift cards. It doesn't list customer service for Zillionsgifts. Only for gift cards issued by major credit card company's like Visa Vanilla, Mastercard, AMEX and so on.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam. They take your money and pretend to investigate when you realize they simply stole from you. You will never get any resolution from customer service… just empty promises and excuses.
I would rate them a negative rating if…
I would rate them a negative rating if possible.
They stole money from purchased gift cards around the holiday season and did not do anything to make it right through any of their customer services. DO NOT waste your money and time; they are FRAUDULENT.
Worst Experience Ever!!
Worst Experience Ever!!! If you purchased these cards, you can consider your money gone. This is a multimillion dollar scam. An expensive lesson learned. I will never buy one of these Vanilla Visa Cards. This is all a scam as well as the company providing support for this issue. BUYER BEWARE
I am extremely frustrated and…
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this company. I had a prepaid card with a balance of $2,500, which never worked from the beginning. I reached out to their customer service multiple times, requesting a replacement card. Every time, I was assured that I would receive it, but nothing ever came through. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I was left waiting with no follow-up or resolution.
When I escalated the issue by contacting BHN, they directed me to contact the company via email. However, my experience only became more frustrating as I went back and forth in communication. Initially, they told me that a replacement card would be sent after mentioning Canadian consumer protection laws regarding gift card expiry.

Take care,
Prepaid Customer Support "
And now they are changing their stance. This was a clear attempt to sidestep my valid concerns and deny me access to my funds. The way this company operates seems dishonest, and it feels like they are simply trying to take advantage of customers and steal money by making it nearly impossible to get a replacement or refund.
Mind you this is happening since one year now
I am writing to formally dispute the forfeiture of funds on my prepaid card and to request a fair resolution in accordance with Canadian consumer protection laws. The funds on the card are my property, and I believe the forfeiture of these funds, without a reasonable resolution, is in violation of principles of fairness and may not be consistent with the applicable legal standards.
The amount in question is not a small sum—$2,500 is a significant amount of money. The loss of these funds without adequate recourse is unacceptable, and I am requesting that the situation be resolved in a manner that is fair, transparent, and compliant with applicable legal standards.
I acknowledge that the card has expired; however, I would like to bring to your attention that under Canadian regulations, such as the Prepaid Payment Products Regulations under the Bank Act, consumers are entitled to certain protections with respect to prepaid cards. These regulations are designed to prevent unfair practices, including the forfeiture of funds without adequate alternatives, such as reissuance, refunds, or an extension of the expiration date.
Additionally, the card was purchased with my AMEX card. I would like clarification as to whether this impacts the resolution process or whether it is relevant to any alternative options available.
Furthermore, I am seeking an explanation as to why this issue has been going back and forth. You previously communicated that the card would be renewed, and I relied on that commitment. However, I am now being informed that the situation is no longer being addressed as previously agreed upon. This lack of consistency and failure to follow through is concerning and warrants further attention.
I kindly request that you review my case and provide a resolution that is compliant with applicable consumer protection laws, including reissuing the card, refunding the balance, or extending the expiration date. If necessary, I request that this matter be escalated to a supervisor or legal department for further review and action.
If this matter is not resolved in a satisfactory and legally compliant manner, I will have no choice but to explore further actions, including filing a formal complaint with the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) or pursuing legal avenues for recovery of my funds.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. I expect a prompt and comprehensive response to ensure compliance with the relevant legal standards.

This company is horrible
This company is horrible, I transferred my cellular service from Verizon to Spectrum Mobile and was told Spectrum would pay off my phones in doing so. I had to pay off the phones with my personal card to provide proof to spectrum that they were paid and was given a gift card from Incomm for $1485. I contacted Incomm to inquire how I could use the card to payoff my credit card and that evening all the funds were drained through three charges. After opening a case, Incomm said they would mail me a check for the total amount. The check never arrived so I opened another case and was now told that someone was claiming to be me so I had to send proof of identity which I have done three times now and cannot even get a response from Incomm. I finally did receive an email telling me the case was closed because I failed to submit the required documents. (which I did submit three separate times).
Don't trust Incomm. They let e-gift cards be stolen
I was given a $1000 gift card as a reward from United Health Care rewards department on 9/10/2024. I loaded it to my phone & tried to use it 9/12/24. It had already been used up! I called Incomm & they said I had used it in Louisiana at a beauty supply store for $500, Target for $250 & some grocery store for $250. I live in Indiana & haven't been to LA for 15 years. After a 90 dispute, they said I had indeed used my "card" in person & there was nothing they can do. Reading other reviews, this is a SCAM company.
Incompetence at the highest level. Totally compatible with government guidelines.
InComm needs to hire customer service reps that speak English.
Would also help if the infrastructure to solve problems existed instead of total aggravation.
Someone charged my card without authorization and InComm has established a process to resolve the problem that is more aggravating than losing the $400.
On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate the experience as -15.
UPDATE: Received a replacement card with the remaining balance minus the $55.00 that was stolen.
Not sure if it works yet. Too much effort required to get the amount in question back. Will not be buying another vanilla card.
I was given a $150 Vanilla gift card…
I was given a $150 Vanilla gift card for Christmas last year in December.. (2023)
I went this year to make a purchase in the store and the card did not work (I opened the card’s package in the store)
I came home .. and I checked it online to just realized that the card WAS USED IN NOVEMBER!! and the balance is ZERO..
I phone the company INCOMM and told me that they will give me the refund in 8 Months.. (this was April 2024) Now it is DECEMBER 2024 I phoned the company and I was told that I should send pictures of the card and prove of my address., and that I will receive a response in THREE DAYS .. well it is 10 days and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED any notification..
It is very hard because I fell embarrassed to tell the family that gave me the card about this ..
just to make them feel terrible.
These people knows what they are doing and reading the others reviews I can see clearly that THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!
Company and Customer Service Is…
Company and Customer Service Is HORRIBLE! I will be complaining to the BBB .
This company is a complete ripoff
This company is a complete ripoff. I was given a $100.00 gift card and the next day someone went to a Target store and somehow spent all of my money. I reported it to InComm and after several months still have no resolve to the issue. The customer service department is a complete waste of time. I wish I could give them a negative rating because a one star is to much.
Before you buy a Gift Card
Beware before your next Gift Card Purchase, had a horriable experence with "Give the Gift of Choice" Company Incomm Payments:
Elderly relative purchased a gift card as a gift (lost the receipt). But the store didn't activate or did in error. I submitted all the pictures and information to this company and have been going back and forth for Months. They will not honor it; terrible customer service through out the whole experience. It's one minimal dollar amount card that anyone attempting fraud the company wouldn't spend months trying to do so. BUYERS Beware of "Give the Gift of Choice" gift cards!
