Very satisfactory resolution of our problem
I wanted to make seat selections on our upcoming flights only to find that the flight times had changed to ones with a very long layover. I contacted Imagine, got an immediate reply and the next day they rearranged the flights to our satisfaction.

Mediterranean Cruise and land Tour
We did a 21 day cruise of the Mediterranean Sea then a 7 day land tour. The cruise on the Cunard Queen Victoria had 14 ports of call. Each port had shore experiences, the ship was spotlessly clean, the food was excellent and the cruising was relaxing. Our 7 day land tour took in visits to St Moritz and the Red train, Lake Garda, Lake Como and Lake Maggiore. Our guide on the land tour was Guido, a very personable, knowledgeable young man who went out of his way to make sure the tour ran smoothly. A true asset to Imagine Holidays.

Train trip and Perth stay.
Train trip was great other than the sleeping and bathroom facilities. Off train excursions were excellent. Perth Motel was excellent. Tours were good. We have had a great experience with this holiday.

Paradise on the Lakes
We did a 4 night stay Lake Maggiore and then a 3 night stay in Lake Garda. During the trip we did the train trip up to St Moritz which was absolutely amazing. Another day we did a wine tour to a gorgeous boutique winery. The rest of our time was free however we were expertly guided by Paolo our imagine tour guide who gave us plenty of options and recommendations. The Hotels were 4 star, perfectly located and suited our needs fine (especially the newly renovated rooms in Lake Maggiore ). The organisation from airport pick up, transfers to and from the hotels and finally to the cruise port were brilliant, very well organised and executed oh and the buses were great too. Would definitely recommend using imagine holidays and we will look forward to using them in the future.

Romp in the Red Centre
It was my first trip to this part of the country and seeing Uluru at sunrise was magic. I also loved Kata Tjuta but must admit the walk in the gorge stretched me, a suggestion is that Imagine provides walking poles to people who aren't stable or increase the time spent here. The dinner under the stars was great and concert by Jessca Mauboy capped off an exceptional experience. Loved the accommodation except the air conditioning was a bit dodgy.

Good Communication & Refund Received
On returning from our March 2025 cruise of SE Asia & land tour of Japan, I contacted Imagine Holidays (now called Imagine Cruising) advising that we had 2 day trips cancelled due to bad weather for safety reasons whilst in Japan.
Katelyn was my point of contact. Katelyn’s email response time was excellent. Katelyn has always communicated in a clear concise helpful and professional manner.
Through no fault of Katelyn’s, the matter was being dealt with by the Operations Team. This took approximately 2 months to resolve.
Katelyn always promptly responded to my follow up progress enquiry emails. Katelyn advised that we would be receiving a refund for the missed day trips, confirmed our credit card details and organised a refund all on the same day.
If there was any feedback I could add to the excellent service provided by Katelyn it might be:
Perhaps a group email been sent to all the clients who were affected by the weather cancelled day trips in Hakone a bit more frequently for peace of mind that they had not been forgotten.
Other than that, we have been completely happy with the customer service & communication provided by Katelyn on this occasion.

This was our second Imagine Holidays…
This was our second Imagine Holidays fly/cruise/stay holiday this year and it lived up to expectations. The transfer from the cruise terminal to the Doubletree Downtown Hilton was well managed, as was the transfer to LAX the following evening.
We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Imagine had included two nights' accommodation so that we were able to stay in our room until the 6.30pm transfer to LAX.
We were advised by the hotel not to venture out at night as the area was not safe - there was not much around the hotel of interest. There was a 7/11 across the road so we could get snack meals there.
We were so impressed with Imagine Holidays, that we have already booked another long holiday with them for next year.

Awesome experience with Imagine …
Awesome experience with Imagine Holidays, 3 days Tokyo including brilliant one day touring with Mount Fuji & bullet train, then 16 night amazing Silversea cruise with one day stop in Kagoshima and overnight stops in Seoul South Korea, Hong Kong, Saigon, and one night stopover in Singapore. Great customer service before our trip and everything well organised, great location hotels each end. Only criticism was their tour person in Singapore, the hotel concierge gave us more advice & she was more concerned about changing a 5pm transfer to airport than checking on our 4 pm transfer. A minor problem and would highly recommend Imagine Holidays.

We have recently returned from a…On the Ghan
We have recently returned from a holiday on the Ghan, it was advertised in November in the Saturday newspaper for $5.999.00, but when we phoned to book, the agent said, that was the price from Brisbane but it would cost extra from Perth because it's further away, and the charge would be $13.398.00, we were shocked and very reluctant to pay that much, that's an extra $1.464.00, considering the advertised price was $5.999.00. We did book in November as it's been on our bucket list, and thinking everyone from Perth would be paying the same price. When we were on the train, we made friends with other people from Perth and they said they paid the advertised price, and was never told it would be extra, they booked in December from the November advert, (the same advert as us) so why is it such a big difference, they did say they flew with Virgin, and we flew with Qantas, but we were never given the option of which company to use, of course we would have preferred to go with Virgin. I have been in touch with Virgin and Qantas about the difference in price, even though it did cost extra with Qantas we still paid $462.00 above the difference in price. Of course when I found out that we had to pay way above the advertised price, and our friends had paid the advertised price we were very angry and upset, as you know I have been in touch with you and you said there was nothing you could do about it, that we had a bargain as the real price was a lot more, what a load of rubbish, we obviously feel very ripped off and won't be travelling with you anymore, there are so many other travel companies that we have used in the past and have never had trouble with them, so anyone reading this beware of the advertised price, it's not always what you get. On a good note, the trip was very good and we enjoyed it, it's a shame we were overcharged, otherwise we would have gone with you again.

First of all, it is great to hear that you had a wonderful time onboard the Ghan and during your time travelling with us. It is all too easy to get bogged down in the negatives when we had these sort of conversations, so thank you again for highlighting those positives of your experience.
As we discussed, while we do our best to ensure that advertised prices are correct at time of print, as we submit our material to newspapers weeks in advance, it occassionally is not correct when it comes time to be delivered to you. As my colleague Charles advised you when you booked in November, the correct price for your holiday departure from Perth was $6,899 per person, and we then applied a discount for you of $200 per person as well as an upgrade to Qantas flights from Virgin free of charge.
While I am unable to comment on the specifics of another passenger's holiday reservations, we always provide our guests with the correct price at the time of reservation. It is possible that they booked at a different time to yourselves, or had a promotion applicable at the time of their reservation or some other variation to the holiday - I again cannot comment on those specifics.

We had a wonderful experience with Imagine on an 18 day Azamara Cruise Sydney to Singapore and then on to a week long stay in India.Azamara will be our cruise line of choice from now on.We loved the small ship experience. India exceeded all expectations in every way.A huge shout out to Yasir our tour guide.He went above and beyond to help ensure the beautiful ring I purchased in Jaipur got to me safely at home when I had limited communication from the jeweller.Apart from that he was very informative about India,it’s history and it’s people.

What a great trip and value for money
After going on a disastrous trip with Imagine, this trip has been my best. They still have a lack of communication but the organisation(s) they contract out to makes up for their lack of details. Each organisation went out of their way to provide the best experience they could. This was also coupled with expert and experienced guides on all excursions. The meals were well above expectations.
