I recently purchased a Kanken Classic in Ochre. At first, I was taken aback by how thin the shoulder straps are and how small it actually is. I was so used to the shoulder padding on my Jansport that I wasn't completely sure if I would be comfortable using the Kanken. However, I was surprised by how much it could hold (I am not even the type to stuff my backpack).

I gave it go and decided to bring it to school. While it took my shoulders some time to adjust, boy, did the Kanken complement my outfit. I live in Los Angeles so I have yet to see other people with one. Haha, this bag definitely makes me feel special and one of a kind.

The bag has a really functional shape though, now that I think about it. The double handles on top feel secure that I am not worried about them tearing off as I would a Jansport. Furthermore, the material looks damn reliable against the weather. The zippers are finely installed and the Fjallraven emblem in the front is a real eye-catcher.

I would have given this bag a 5/5 stars had it not been for the straps. If there ever comes an event where I have to carry a heavy load, I feel that the straps will slice through my traps.

I've purchased the special edition classic bag in navy and bright right. And I'm really proud to say that I'm ecstatic with my purchase from the website. i've ever had. before i had it i thought it might be too small, but it isn't true! i can carry all my schoolbooks, notebooks, pencils, lunch etc. and i still have so much room left!

Kanken is literally the best. Not only did the order come super fast, but the bag is both the perfect size, and super durable. I've already put it through hell in the short time that I've had it, and it's proved itself perfect in every aspect. When visiting the Fjällräven outlet store in Sweden I fell in love with the No. 21 Backpack but the price stopped me from buying it. Back home I discovered this website, the nice prices and ordered the bag (and a No.1 for my boyfriend). We are really happy with the backpacks. My bag arrived next day which you cannot sniff at! When it came it was stunning. I love it. A few points however: the zip needs a bit of WD40 as it sticks every now and then. Also, I purchased the laptop bag and shoulder pads, I was not told that the bag came with sewn in shoulder pads so I had to cut these out! Other than that, it's fab!

The bags did not have any defects thus far. The specifications stated on the website is accurate. My classic can really hold a whole lot of things inside. Whether or not it makes up 16 liters, I would not be sure but the space is more than sufficient and the design has been very thoughtful.

I used myKanKen for almost every possible occasion. It has color which I like, a chic design that is attractive and durable, convenience with access to the bag and matches with almost every possible outfit or look that I have to dress up or down. The shape structure of the bag allows things inside to stay mostly in place and the compartments though little but if decided with proper additional personal accessories or more Kankens, can be maximised and optimised wonderfully.

My girlfriend has been obsessed with the bag as I do. My sister and I bought four kanken in total, both of us have one classic and one mini. The colours are really nice, and it is very comfortable to take kanken outside as they are so light. It rains a lots in Hong Kong recently, the texture of kanken helps in protecting my stuff from rainwater. We like the shape of Kanken, we can put many stuff inside, it's so useful.
