This company is a scam
Their agencies do not do appointments for viewing
When you pay deposit they scam you
I regret engaindibg with them
They rob ppl who they know are financially struggling
I cancelled my lease after I saw a place that will not be suitable for my furniture
They dam charge me for a damage fair and took all my deposit together with their so called owner

Thank you for your message and for confirming your wish to cancel the lease agreement prior to taking occupation of the Premises.

In terms of Clause 21.1.2 (read with Item 1.27 of the Schedule), cancellation of the Lease Agreement prior to the expiry of the Initial Period entitles the Landlord to recover a reasonable cancellation penalty to cover any loss suffered as a result of the early cancellation. This applies regardless of whether occupation has commenced, as the Lease Agreement became binding upon signature and payment of the Deposit.

Having considered the circumstances, and as a gesture of goodwill, the Landlord has agreed to accommodate you by not levying the full cancellation penalty that could otherwise be claimed under Item 1.27. Instead, the Landlord will retain only:

- The Deposit paid, being R11,500.00; and
- The Lease Agreement administration fee of R1,200.00 (Item 1.11), which is non-refundable in terms of Addendum A.

No further amounts will be claimed from you, and this will be treated as full and final settlement of the cancellation. Unfortunately, this also means no refund will be due to you, as the amounts above will be retained in place of a further cancellation penalty.

Please confirm receipt of this email and your acceptance of these terms so that we may close out the file accordingly.”

Please note that I have still not received my deposit, despite it being way over the promised 14 business days.
Igrow has approved my lease termination (they cancelled my debit orders to confirm) and I was advised three times (by different colleagues) that my contract was on a month to month. I have followed all procedures, was not told of a breach until AFTER I vacated the premises, but then again, this was resolved by saying that my contract was in fact a month to month.

Now I am being THREATENED to be blacklisted? How is that fair? I would like my deposit back and a formal apology ASAP.
