Had a replacement boiler installed under Eco4 Flex. Igni were helpful right from the start. They organised the survey, sorted the grant and installed the new boiler. All the staff we professional. Lovely job

Igni have been very proactive in getting the grant processed and approved. Like other reviewers I too was rather sceptical about the whole thing and did also wonder if it was a scam of some sort. But no, the company selected for the loft insulation have showed up on the day and time arranged and carried out the work to a satisfactory standard. Thank you.

When I first started researching grants for boilers and home energy improvements I was very sceptical. The saying “if something is too good to be true then it usually is” kept going round in my head however how wrong I was! When I came across IGNI and entered my details I thought nothing would come of it. I got an email straight back asking for a few more details about the boiler and my circumstances. A survey was booked for 3 days later. It turned out my home met the criteria and the following day 3 men arrived to insulate my loft and fit extractor fans in the bathroom and the day after that 3 different men came to fit a brand new Worcester boiler and remove the water tank! It was a full on day and I have to say was a pretty big job but I’m thrilled with the improvements made to my home and the fact that I don’t have to go through another winter wondering if my 25 year old boiler will make it!!
If you are considering applying for the grant I can honestly say go for it! You have nothing to lose

Wow! Read the reviews and thought it was too good to be true but thought I’d apply anyway, had a survey done on Monday afternoon and Thursday morning team turned up to rip out old system, boiler and cylinder and replaced with combi boiler, the same day another team turned up and insulated the loft! Boiler team were fantastic, polite, professional, clean and tidy done a great job. Only downside was we were never told we’d been accepted, first we knew was when 3 heating engineers were at the door with the boiler but 1st class service

I had a new boiler fitted and trv's on all radiators very happy with the work that was carried out, installers were polite and courteous, showed respect for my property and cleaned up after completion.

Excellent quality service from the team. Loft insulation and window vents installed and an up to date extractor fan fitted. Cleaned up after themselves. Throughly good job. Thanks guys.

Fantastic people, helpful from the start. From survey to fully installed within 1 week and boiler working perfectly. The men who installed it were friendly and worked efficiently and left my house very clean when they finished. Brilliant service. I would highly recommend

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I did the eligibility test last sunday , they called on Monday, came to assess my house a few days later and today i have had a brand new boiler, loft insulation, extractor fans fitted. All this was done in one day im proper pleased with it all. I had a outdated back boiler and gas fire and a massive ugly water cylinder in my house. All has now gone. The lads that came have been really polite and respectful and all taken the rubbish away with them. I would defo recommend IGNI to anyone. The whole process from me taking the eligibility quiz has taken a week and half!

Igni has been absolutely amazing to my mum she had the government scheme boiler fitted. From her first contact to the surveyor and Hassans team her experience has been amazing.

Extremely prompt service. Survey booked 2 days after application, 4 days later boiler installation. The plumbers were very efficient, hardworking over a very long day and were nice and well mannered. The boiler is a very high quality make and they fitted new thermostat valves too. It would have made it easier if the surveyor had prepared us by telling us what needed clearing prior to the fitting, but other than that great!

We used Igni who forwarded us to Fairway Energy (based in Liverpool) for Mum and Dads free ECO4 boiler. We had approached all the main Utility suppliers,who would only supply insulation (GBIS), or had a several week waiting list even to talk to us. EON were the worst. They work with our local Coventry Council on ECO4. We went through the whole application process ie vulnerable/pension credit/council tax discount/Baxi back boiler over 30 years old/EPC rating F. They turned us down because dad has a cavity wall, they only do solid wall houses!!! All the major Utilities were useless. We had tried them for reputational security. Old people are cowboy magnets. Do a Google search on ECO4 fitting experience. There are some horror stories regarding subcontractors. So I did my homework and came across Igni who had great reviews. I started the process very reservedly, expecting the worst. I could not have been more wrong. The whole process has been a breath of fresh air. I spoke to Hussain at Igni who then passed me to Daisy at Fairway Energy. Within the week, we had a survey by Paul from Fairway Energy and the boiler was fitted yesterday, a week after the survey. Matt and Barry from Fairway Energy drove down from Liverpool and arrived at 8.15am. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They fitted an Ideal 35Kw Ideal Combi boiler. They cleaned up afterwards and were extremely courteous. They finished the fit at 5pm. Matt the electrician arrived mid afternoon to fit 2 electric radiators in the loft conversion and hardwire the boiler in. He also showed us how to use the wireless thermostat. He left at 7pm to return to Liverpool. Fairway Energy is a family owned business (family and close friends). The surveyor, fitters and electrician all work directly for Fairway Energy, there were no unknown subcontractors. We have a 1 year warranty from Fairway Energy and a 2 year warranty from Ideal. I thoroughly recommend Igni and Fairway to anyone getting their parents through the ECO4 process. You have restored my faith in good, honest hard work with no hidden agendas. (For anyone just missing out on Pension Credit), look up Underlying Carers Allowance)

IGNI themselves were reasonable but their subcontractor berks insulation was atrocious.

Good points:

I got a Worcester Greenstar 4000 for free saving me around 4k on having the 50 year old boiler replaced.

Bad points:

1) Pipework is not the best workmanship - not many clips used and none of it is level or aligned with each other

2) some terrible pointing work and a hole in my ceiling.

3) flue is wonky and looks a mess.

4) they refused to reconnect my smart heating even though this was promised and removed a few trv’s saying they were illegal.

5) left a terrible mess that I had to clear up - dust throughout the house.

6) stripped all the insulation jackets off existing pipework and took it with them. Also took all the old copper they could including the old tank but left old boiler on driveway.

7) no inhibitor in system so could have voided warranty but suspiciously left an empty can of furnox f4 behind which is a leak sealer.

8) didn’t bleed system properly.

9) didn’t put back insulation in loft

Friendly and professional, assessment and installation.

I had a complete system fitted within 2 days! The lads were extremely dedicated to their work they worked endless to get the job done well done!

We had two teams who arrived to do the work. The first team removed all the old loft insulation and replaced with the new, having to move a lot of the boxes we had in the loft. We had removed some to try and help but we are in our mid 70's and can not work as fast as these young men who did a brilliant job, not stopping until they had finished. They cleared all the waste and left our house clean and tidy.

Next came the two men to install the new Boiler, which is in a small area under the stairs, not easy, created a problem fitting the flue. However these men were polite and courtious at all times, keeping us informed about their progress as they worked late into the night. We are so impressed with their work and how they remained professional at all times. I would recomend the services of these gentelmen from IGNI WHO WENT THE EXTRA MILE.

Very unimpressed with Berks Insulation. Damaged and dirty walls, including a boot print CSI, would be proud of. Basic care and attention to detail. A large outside black hook that is only suitable for an outside gate...
Spoken to customer services who say the walls want sugar soaped...
