Ordered from the ad. Everything in the ad shows what I'm ordering. After I place the order I get a notice that I ordered the 1.0 and for an extra 64.99 I could upgrade to the 2.0. Then a two weeks later I get another charge for 29.99. Now they are saying by purchasing the initial purchase I signed up for their ifade club? I didn't sign up for anything and I'm most definitely not going to pay 29.99 for a discount on future products.
Also I just received my order.
I ordered the platinum package. Comes with a "360° mirror with led lights" I received a 360 mirror there is no led lights on it. I used the set.

The ifade trimmer itself isn't half bad. Takes time and patience to get the hang of it. If I were to review the trimmer is give it a 3* rating on its own merit.

Overall review of the company and their business practices I give 0*

For full transparency they have said they refunded the 29.99 and the 64.99 upgrade fee was refunded as well. Just irritating that what you see on the website/ad isn't what you're ordering when you place the order.

Do not buy from them.

I saw an Ad and Bought at 50% off and it really amazed me with the quality of iFade. Very easy to use it and took me just 10 minutes to make a fade.
So yeah, Will be recommending t my other fellows which spent more then 500$ on barber shop getting fades

SCAM. I ordered a clipper for $49.99 and was charged an additional $64.99 for an upgrade I didn't want. While they did refund the $64.99, they also tried to charge me $29.99 for a membership I never authorized. Thankfully, my bank blocked this charge. Despite repeated requests for clarification, their responses were unsatisfactory and misleading. Be cautious when dealing with this company.

Perfect! I'm not a barber but was quite impressed using this for my husband. It actually feels good in my hand. Perfect fade for my husband & he was super thrilled. Made me seem like I'm a professional. Very good product!

I think this is a scam because of the upselling. The website says that you get the 1.0 but then upsell you to the 2.0 but never got the confirmation of the 2.0 but only for the 1.0 and a separate transaction on my credit card which gave a fraud alert as well.

Update- Not only did I not get the clippers, but I also found out that they have been charging my a membership fee of 39.99 a month since my initial purchase of these clippers! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT AND I WILL BE DISPUTING THIS BECAUSE I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!

Same as others mentioned, bait and switch after entering in payment info. Very concerning. Credit card company first declined. After you press to order, they tell you their first version was trash and that's the one you're getting if you don't buy up to the 2.0. I even see on here they are replying that they will talk to their team about it and thanks for making them aware. What?? They are very aware.

I used to cut my boyfriend’s fades and searched for new clippers, came across the ifade, best decision ever! First of all it definitely saves you time after you get used to it, since it is a bit different from regular clippers, now the fun part is, my boyfriend started cutting his own fades with it, and they look great.
So just a hint for the girls, it makes a great gift ;)

They just posting it online for ads and paying other people to give 5 stars. This is a scam so don't buy it it's garbage

False advertising using the Bait and Switch Ad tactic. The other victims are right. Their ad will direct you to their landing page to purchase the advertised iFade. Then after you enter billing and shipping address and hit order, a thank you page will come out to say that you only ordered their version 1.0 which is their “prototype”.

This is what it says on the thank you page:
“Take Note: Your current regular iFade 1.0 version was our prototype and often gives bad fades - leaving you with uneven results and only a 35-45% fading success rate.
Upgrade now to the iFade® 2.0
- Ultimate Fade Precision© and get perfect fades every time.
With our advanced technology, your fades will look 10X better, with a success rate of 95-100%!”

It is a bait and switch to upsell customers since their ads show the version 2.0 so you think that’s what you’re getting. But after paying, they will tell you that you actually ordered prototype version 1.0 and that you should upgrade and pay more money just to get the actual advertised product. They never advertised the version 1.0. Their ads show version 2.0 but actually sell you 1.0 and ask you to upgrade and pay more just to get the 2.0. Sounds like a scam if you ask me.

Be careful out there. No wonder my bank already flagged it as fraud as soon as I hit the order button.

The transaction will also come out as two separate order numbers and two separate transactions. I also emailed to cancel the first order, which is as they say the version 1.0. And the second transaction/order # was for the upgrade to get the version 2.0. But the response of their customer service is:

None of the information they emailed is in their website or Ads.

They trick you into purchasing and then force you to pay even more money just to get what you actually expected from their ads. Very deceptive company.

They sell you the clippers then tell you the ones you just bought are trash and that you should buy their upgraded version.

I mean IFade deserves more credit! I recently switched products and this gets the job done every time! Stop hesitating and get this product now!

I bought this clipper for my boyfriend because he kept complaining about his old one. The shipping was pretty fast, arrived well before I hoped. When it arrived, it was much bigger than I expected. He did tried it yesterday and said it was a better quality than the last one he had. The quality is also visible. He is now using it daily to my happiness.
