I signed up for the Boosting Creativity with AI and what a disappointment. Frankly the first two sessions were all stuff I already knew for the most part. I thought this was supposed to be groundbreaking and instead I felt like we were just being shown "prompts" and "wow look what it did".
But my MAJOR beef with this was the jam sessions. I had signed up to participate. The first class I was a few minutes late and the button was greyed out to join. I thought maybe that was my fault for being late. I emailed and said I was having an issue and was given instructions on what to do the following week. So I did that. SAME issue. So now I'm missing 2 of 3 jam sessions because of whatever the issue is. I request a refund and get told "no refunds" even with what I consider to be a failure of the platform. No repair offered otherwise: like here's a credit for another class, or SOMETHING. Nope, instead she just repeated the same instructions on "logging out and logging back in" and "try a different browser". Which, again, is all things I tried. Not going to take another class now even if I was interested. There are other platforms that take better care of their customers.

Update 24/9: Finally received welcome mail with further instructions. I'll raise the recommendation and hope for a great experience going forward.

I have paid for a course starting 25/9 but still havn’t received any welcome mail with further instructions from NovoEd, who should be their vendor. I have reached out to IDEO via chat and mail but no help so far. Their chat keep writing: “I’ll Connect you with a team member …” but nothing happens

# Misleading Advertising

I had a disappointing experience with IDEOU's Human-Centered Systems Thinking course. The company's marketing prominently featured Deirdre Cerminaro as the instructor, which was a significant factor in my decision to enroll. I even researched her teaching style through her YouTube videos and podcasts before signing up.

However, upon starting the course, I discovered that Ms. Cerminaro was not actually teaching the course. Instead, IDEOU uses a "Teaching Team" to provide feedback and support. This team, in my experience, did not match the expertise level I expected based on the advertised instructor.

IDEO is a great company with tons of innovation. However, prospective students should thoroughly investigate what they're actually getting before enrolling in any IDEOU course.
