Great product affordable overall A++

Honestly I was looking for a virtual service provider outside the normal companies, I must say Hyonix is by far the most affordable with also provided great space and ram, as well as customer service is top notch never have I ever had such a fast reply to a ticket that i have had here.

Excellent VPS service

Hyonix provides an excellent VPS service. I recently needed technical support, and the response was quick and effective. They offer a wide variety of VPS plans at a great price.

Be wary of what you're paying for!

I've been with Hyonix for a couple of years now. At the start they were the best by far - fast servers, great cost and nice HD memory. I even at one point had 3 servers. Then about a year back things changed, not sure what happened by servers got slower and lagged. Customer service response time became intermittent - sometimes quick sometimes a few days (it was never quick to begin with but bearable). Unfortunately not you need to realise when they say a 30GIG HD - it won't be 30 GIG at best you'll get half that due to system resources etc (unlike other companies that seem to manage that part much better) so unfortunately the 5 star review is down to a 3 star.

Update: in response to the below I’m basing my storage also fact on that I previously had two servers one the same as the one I bought before however it hard previously a lot more storage (it also ran on windows). You can search me via the email I responded with.

Update2: I have checked the memory usage on the VPS. I have downloaded 7 programs amount to the following sizes all in MB 68.3, 57.4, 58.5, 339, 340,340,340 - which equates to roughly 1,543 or 1.543 gig.
I have 30 gig of INCREASE Space - System reserved shows 13.7 gig, Apps&Games shows 16.1 gig of which as I just pointed out 1.543 is what I've downloaded the rest (I can see in there) are all system .net files - so once again unusable space for me.
The temporary folder is regularly emptied shows 751mb yet when I clicked in shows 7.52. So either something has gone wrong with the install or I am correct I am getting way less space.
On my home pc I do not have these issues so I'm a little confused. Take 5 gig for system usage and 13.7 gig for network installs, there is a gap that I should be able to use but can't.

We'd like to address a couple of points for clarity. Our plans advertise 30GB of Enterprise NVMe storage, which is the full disk space allocated to your server. However, since you're running Windows Server, the operating system itself requires approximately 13–15GB for installation and core system files - this is a standard Windows Server requirement rather than something specific to Hyonix. It's also worth noting that some providers may offer larger storage amounts, but often on slower HDD or SATA SSD drives. We use Enterprise NVMe across our plans, which delivers significantly faster read/write speeds and better overall performance - though it does come at a higher cost per GB. We'd be happy to help you optimize your disk usage or upgrading to a plan with more storage if needed.

Regarding customer support, we take response times seriously. Looking at our records, we don't see any tickets from your account that went unanswered for more than 24 hours, with most being attended to within a few hours. That said, if you ever feel a response is taking longer than expected, please don't hesitate to follow up - we want to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

As for the performance concerns, we're sorry to hear about your experience with lag. Unfortunately, we can't locate a support ticket on our system regarding this issue, so we'd love the chance to look into it. Your newly purchased server includes a smaller storage allocation than your previous servers, which were on a higher-tier plan with more storage - this explains the difference you noticed. The available disk space you're seeing is correct for the package you currently have, along with the Windows Server installation. If you'd like to upgrade back to your previous package, we'd be happy to help you with that!

We also reviewed your full support ticket history, and all tickets were responded to well within 24 hours, with most being answered within an hour. If we've missed any tickets or if any were submitted under a different account, please let us know and we'll be happy to look into it further.

Hi Ryan, as you've confirmed, the full 30GB of storage is allocated to your server as advertised. We cannot account for what has been installed or modified on the server after it's been delivered. All of our servers come with standard Windows Server installation with no modifications outside of preinstalled essential software and libraries (such as .NET). If you'd like to verify this, you can reinstall your server from your dashboard - after a fresh Windows Server installation, you should see approximately 15GB of free space remaining. Windows may use storage for other purposes other than the temp folder you are cleaning, for example WinSxS that stores updates/rollbacks or any AppData from your applications or pagefiles.

For specific issues, we'd recommend opening a support ticket so our technical team can review your server directly and assist with any storage concerns, rather than going back and forth via reviews, which is not an efficient channel for support and Trustpilot also limits the amount of characters on a response. Our team has followed up with you but we still have not received responses yet. Please get in touch with us and we will check on the issue for you.
