I wrote a review in early 2023 on All Agents and see someone has added a comment on my review which I suspect is not genuine. Only realised that because I was automatically notified by All Agents. Note that there are either 1 star or 5 star reviews here which should raise alarm bells. I do not use them now, fortunately, but understand that if you are a landlord with just one property, it can be a nightmare, and not just finacially. Spend time choosing the right agent, the number of brances should not be the deciding factor.

This company and the staff are refusing to pay my backdated rent , I think they are frauds and scammers
They have lied to me , and will not answer my calls , and have blatantly ignored my requests for my monies owed .

Have had the best experience working with hydeandrowe. Michelle was outstanding and always available for us.

Decent estate agent, especially for Croydon. They've been around a long time, and so have lots of experience and it shows. They listed our property and made it a doddle, when we decided to move out the area. The amount they managed to get for it was good.

I heard about Hyde and Rowe through a friend, who’s property has been managed by them for years. I have now been with them for 8 months, never had any problems with them. The few issues at the property were dealt with promptly, and I was always updated.

I wrote a damming review in January, its been taken down now. Hyde and Rowe were useless, nothing was ever done, people were told things that never happened, they never did any repairs. This was mainly because they employed young people who did not know how to do anything apart from answer the phone. Now they have employed a lady with years of property management experience. She has changed the works ethics, has been visiting the property's to expect them and is slowly putting things right. She has her work cut out but she is getting there. She has sorted 2 of my list of problems, and one was a refund. She is in the middle of getting damage in my flat repaired. I have not seen this yet though, I live abroad, and only know all of this this from my constant ringing up to get things done and talking to her, I was angry from the condition Hyde had let my flat get into. I am happy to say that from talking to her I am confident that she finish fixing my flat up, will sort the rest of my problem list, about 4 more little things, and do all the things that should have been put in place in the first place, things like checking tenants in and out of property's and checking for damage when one leaves. Hyde are a bit better on the lettings side. I have deleted my earlier report because Trustpilot made me look at it again, Hyde and Rowe had obviously been onto them, they are getting better so I have left an up to date review.
You should get another review in a few months time. Hopefully it will be another good one. We'll I have decided to edit this review. It's been 7 days since my good review and in a week I have found out that I spoke to soon, I am one month in arrears in Rent, and I cannot get through to the Hyde and Rowe, accounts department, I found when I have rang up, no.one there is answering any phones, so I cant try to get my rent paid. They make it impossible to get through to any kind of accounts department because the automatic message only says sales, lettings or property management, then no body picks up the phone. I have also found that furniture I left in my flat has been stolen and there is no one there to report it too. No, what I wrote earlier us true but Hyde and Rowe are totally wrong, KEEP AWAY FROM THEM, they will ruin your property

I am a landlord with this company. Every month I have to chase them for the rent. I have had problems with the tenant they have installed and they are negligent when it comes to any problems. Take my advice, find a better management company.

EDIT: Hyde and Rowe flagged my review for removal unless I showed proof of my business dealings with them. They are going all out to remove genuine negative experiences. If they were this sincere about providing good customer service , rather than silencing us who have blatantly received rotten service, they may not have ended up with so many negative reviews.

Rotten agents. Perhaps some select few receive reasonable service but I just don’t know how! I would avoid this company completely.
Their positive reviews look laughably cribbed. Please bow out of this market and save us all a headache!

Court action beginning. This is a dodgy company. Please do not give them your property to manage. Group being set up for others affected by this company. Please email maureenflyne at gmail.com as we are group preparing to out this company for there immoral and illegal activities.

These awful estate agents are still holding on to my rents despite telling my solicitor they’re going to transfer them to me over 3 weeks ago!!! It’s outright theft and I’m now starting court action theyve not given me rents fully since May of this year. As a landlord I can only tell others to stay away from such underhand agents and don’t go near this company

Stayed in one of their properties which was really clean and tidy..
