When I placed the order on line
When I placed the order on line, I was told to expect a delivery confirmation on the first full working day after. I did not get this, so the following day I went to the local Huws Gray to enquire. They apologised and booked the delivery in for the following Thursday and told me I could phone that morning to get an estimated delivery time. When I phoned they said they had no record of my order and it was not scheduled. I was able to quote the order number and eventually they found it, but it had not been included on their delivery plan for that day. They told me they would squeeze it in at the end of the day, and the goods did eventually get delivered at around 4.15pm that afternoon. The people are friendly enough, but their systems appear disjointed.

They delivered and place the 5 tons at the back as directed nearly so everyone can still use the road. It was lucky that I was in because I never got a follow up email or call saying when the delivery would be ? It was easy booking and paying hence 4/5 stars.

Great Service, Prompt Delivery and Good Product
Always get a really good, personal service from Huws Gray. After my online order they called to see when I wanted to take delivery and the logistics of getting the topsoil to the farm given the road restrictions. Nothing too much trouble for the driver who offered to wait while we sorted the bags. The quality of the topsoil is way better than anything I have had from garden suppliers and it was dry which was great. Good old fashioned service from a local depot and I thoroughly recommend.

Personal service beyond expectations.
My local branch was unable to make a fairly small delivery at the height of the heatwave but the manager personally delivered the goods early the next (Saturday) morning. This was excellent customer service, above and beyond my expectations. This enabled me to complete my project on time.
