Outstanding service

Eurolingua Institute

In early April 2015, we accepted a proposal from Web Windows to undertake a run of network banner promotion with 5 million impressions. Web Windows produced three different format banners promoting Eurolingua Language Study Abroad programmes. The results were excellent. Our daily traffic skyrocketed, consistently exceeding 300% of our usual traffic over the first 12 day period, dropping back to over 200% over the subsequent 10 day period, boosting our summer student enrolments. We are now planning a further campaign in September to help with our autumn and winter enrolments. The Web Windows team do a great job!!

Web Windows review

I've used plenty of Marketing and Advertising agencies in the past but I have to say that Web Windows have been the best yet. They are experts in what they do and have an excellent customer services focus. I dealt with a number of people there from the MD, Associate Director through to Operations team and all of them really cared about my business. I would highly recommend them to any other business looking to increase their online presence.

Search Engine Optimisation - Does Work

As a small/medium sized business I had used other Search Engine Optimisation companies in the past without any success at all, they all promised the earth and delivered nothing but still took my money.

Web Windows were different, they asked for no money up front, they did not want to tie me in to an initial long contract and they took the time to explain every thing properly and simply so I understood what was going to happen and more importantly how this was going to benefit my business.

I have now been with Web Windows for nearly 12 months and my results on Google have never been better, I am on the first page for my key words and my business has gone from strength to strength.

It was good to find an honest hard working company who went that extra mile to make sure that this service was a complete success.

I can not thank Web Windows enough and I will certainly be using them again and would recommend them to any one who is looking for a Search Engine Optimisation company.

Friendly experts - great value for money

We went to Web Windows for help with our advertising campaign for our most recent garden based product. In the process they helped us identify and aim for our most suitable target market which has paid off in dividends. Deliver as promised

Prior to using Web Windows we had a few failed attempts with online advertising. Since using Web Windows the last 12 months have seen a complete turnaround. Our campaigns have resulted in increase in sales and site traffic, and now we would not deal with anyone else. They are professional and helpful, and the results are amazing.

Web Windows offer a great service at a fantastic price. Recommended

As the owner of a small brand trying to compete with the big players when iin online marketing, I was delighted when I found Web Windows. Through their contacts they’ve managed to get my business last-minute banner adverts on some huge websites and at relatively low rates. With that and their excellent in-house design team, Web Windows have helped us get in front of more people and win customers in the process.

I would highly recommend Web Windows, they’ve been a fantastic partner to us and provided great value considering the work they’ve done for us

Couldn't be happier!

In a former life, as a marketing director of a thriving healthcare company, I was used to big advertising budgets - and an agency to sort out my bookings for me. These days I run a much smaller business in the same field and. to be honest, I have tended to shy away from advertising as I've feared it would likely be too expensive, and too much of a faff to organise. Web Windows has been a revelation! Lovely, lively and helpful people to work with, and the whole process couldn't be easier. I would recommend Web Windows to anyone looking to get their name on the map.

Knowledgable, courteous and brilliant at their jobs

As the owner of a small business, I found that whatever marketing channels my business attempted utilise, we would be faced with dauntingly quotes and disinterested advertising directors. I took it upon myself to find a company that could do better for us, which is when I stumbled across Web Windows. Web Windows looked at our budget and assigned us a brilliant account manager named Tom who helped us get our brand out in front of millions of people without suffering the budget calamities which marked our independent efforts.

We’ve been clients of Web Windows for over a year now and we’re extremely pleased with the work that they’ve done for us. During the last week alone we were able to reach readers of OK Magazine, The Express and The Independent with a mixture of print advertisements and targeted, online adverts. For a business of our size, that kind of exposure is astounding and thanks to the hard work of their involved and helpful staff, we’ve been able to make our business a success.

Referral from colleague: very happy!

We were originally refereed to Web Windows by a colleague in a similar sector who had had a great experience with them. I hadn't had experience with Run-of-Network advertising before, but after speaking to Web Windows decided to take their advice and run a campaign. I was excited to see the results, and ecstatic when they delivered beyond my expectations.

Web Windows ran our campaign along with a one month banner campaign on a website that was sure to see a lot of traffic, and therefore would see a lot of views for our banner. The results were great, and at the end of the month we decided to renew the campaign, working on a month to month basis.

Four months in now and I couldn't be happier with the results, which has seen an vast increase in business for us. Furthermore, Web Banners now take care of other areas of marketing for us, including print design and search engine optimisation. We are a month into a new SEO campaign and I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

Very pleased my colleague passed on the details for Web Windows, we will continue to use them and so far have found them very dependable, with someone always at the end of the phone when we need assistance. Great experience!

Great experience with good results

My experience with Web Windows was fantastic. I approached them to help with online advertising for my business. The response was prompt and everything was made really clear before I decided to go ahead, so I knew exactly what to expect. I was assigned a project manager, which I found especially helpful; being able to deal with the same person day in day out. The results have been good, and I'm looking forward to seeing where the next few months take me. Found the regular reports really helpful and any time I had any questions or wanted to make some changes I always received help quickly. Great experience, thank you very much.

Mail Online have never heard of them

We were approached by Web Windows with a too-good-to-be-true offer of £515 to advertise on the Mail Online's entire site.

Thousands of impressions were promised, artwork was included and credit card details were requested. Fortunately we contacted the Mail Online before submitting any payment.

The Mail had basically never heard of them and almost laughed when I described the rates we were offered. Needless to say, we have since told Web Windows "no thank you".

We are very disappointed to have received this one star review, which seems based to be purely on one telephone conversation with a single employee at the Daily Mail- The Daily Mail group has 14,000 employees and although we have had dealings with them dating back to 2002, it would be unrealistic for everyone in the organisation to be familiar with us.

The Mail Online is an excellent place to advertise, so much so that Web Windows promotes itself on the site too. A quick visit to the site a moment ago saw eight of our own banner ads which I am happy to send screen grabs of if you wish.

We strive get the lowest possible rates for our clients, including those quoted to you, by using real time bidding strategies, which is one of the main reasons why we have clients who choose to invest with us frequently. We often purchase unsold banner inventory from up to 18 different advertising exchanges without the need to approach the Mail Online directly. Apart from being regularly invited to social and networking events,l, we have very little direct contact. We have the greatest respect for the Mail Online and I presume this is reciprocated as they have been known to head hunt experienced staff from Web Windows when the opportunity arises.

WOULD YOU PAY FOR 0% CONVERSATION RATE ?

Totally agree with last negative rating.
conversation rate 0.000008%. who would pay for 0% feedback??
They take your money and give you all sorts of excuses why the campaign
is not working when challenged.
They will promise millions of impressions, and mention top sights such as Daily Mail, AA, Ebay
Have stopped my payment and will go legal if required.
UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE:-5-12-2014
Your company approached US via a number of emails and "repeated" phone calls.
We are one of the largest wholesalers in the UK who supply independents and multiples with menswear, sportswear and boy wear. We are not what you class an 'ailing' company.
Your rep advised and assured us that they could improve our e-commerce with targeted ad campaigns. We would be on high profile sites at a fraction of the normal cost, because of last minute cancellations on major company sites.(AA Daily Mail Ebay etc) Traffic to website 0.0001% as indicated by your traffic reports.
No examples of our ads on any site have been forthcoming.
We are a 40 year old company and will always give people who contact us a chance.
This is what i would call a scam.

Thank you for posting this review; feedback from our users is always valuable, and it gives me the chance to look a little deeper into what went wrong with your campaign.

Allow me to explain. Every month we are approached by a number of ailing businesses who hope that Web Windows is able to completely transform their fortunes. Of course, we treat each new client with the greatest respect and give our very best advice to make sure advertising campaigns are given the best possible chance of working. Unfortunately, although we are very successful at driving traffic through to websites, we are powerless to turn visitors into buying customers. In order for a campaign to be successful, the website that is clicked through to has to be sufficiently appealing and offer products or services which consumers actually want; unfortunately that is not always the case.

I can appreciate your disappointment with the low conversion rate of your campaign, but I can assure you that we have done everything we have been asked to do and more. Web Windows is very experienced at knowing how to get the most from online advertising and your Account Manager has worked hard, trying to ensure that the response you received has been maximised. I think that what you may have misinterpreted as her ‘excuses’ were actually an attempt on her part to make sure the campaign worked well for you. To this end, we have re-designed copy, increased banner sizes and given you extra banners – all at no extra charge.

Banner advertising is a complex process, but it is definitely worth sticking with – online advertising is the most popular form of advertising, simply because it has proven results. You have appeared on some of the most popular and respected websites in the UK; this is a good start, but in order to succeed, it is important to develop a good working relationship with your agency.

We are here to help, and to make sure that every successive campaign is better than the last. If you call your Account Manager, I am sure that we can get your campaign generating a better response, and make Web Windows work for you.

Promise the world - Deliver nothing

I was advised that I would get 4,000,000 impressions on a banner campaign and that this would generate 700 clicks to our site.
What they failed to mention is that when you have a campaign of 4,000,000 impressions, around 700 people will click on the banner accidentally. Therefore once on your site, they bounce straight off. Not a single one of these 700 people purchased a product on our site.
The sites they advertise on are not relative.
The customer service team - didn't care.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review – it is always good to have feedback from a client.

In your comment, you voiced a concern that many of your visitors clicked through accidentally. Whilst accidental clicks pose a problem for advertising on mobile devices, this is definitely not an issue for desktop campaigns. The four million banner ads for your campaign appeared on desktops only, and the 700 visitors your campaign generated were completely genuine. I have looked into your campaign’s statistics and can confirm that during the 28 days it ran, your banners appeared on a host of leading websites including Amazon, Daily Mail, Guardian, Radio Times, eBay and Zoopla, to name just a few.

Unfortunately, you made three classic mistakes which go a long way to explaining the disappointing outcome of your campaign.

Firstly, you made your banner’s landing page the home page. Experienced advertisers know how important it is to make products as easy as possible to buy, without making visitors drill down through numerous pages to get to purchase pages. Unfortunately, the navigation on your website is such that visitors have to view six pages before being able to make a purchase.

Secondly, you didn’t re-target the response. Unless you’re a website giving cash away, the chance of a first-time visitor buying from your site on their first visit is low. For your particular market, it is very much a ‘considered purchase’. For just an extra £200, we could have re-targeted the response by showing banner ads to the same 700 visitors after they left the site. These banner ads would have been displayed, on average, three times per day for four weeks afterwards. Successful advertising relies on repeat exposure and this, I’m certain, would have driven great sales.

Thirdly, you were not receptive to advice offered during the artwork stage. As a result, the banner copy contains no benefit and relies entirely on a 15% discount code to entice a response.

Finally, you have not persevered past the first setback; not all advertisers strike it lucky on the first time round. It is important to realise that to succeed with online advertising, you need to take on board as much advice at the beginning as possible and be prepared for occasional snags along the way.

Online advertising has become the most popular form of advertising for a reason; businesses rely on it because it works, and Web Windows can work with you to ensure plenty of sales are made.

Started as a 3 month test, now part of our continued marketing strategy

We first approached Web Windows in early 2014 to look at Retargeting as a test campaign. The results and feedback from new customers/ enquiries proved to us that is was working. The Retargeting service that Web Windows offer is now part of our year round marketing plan and we are continually working closely with the team to improve our marketing presence.

Informative, Understanding and Not Pushy At All!

I have gained some great advice from Web Windows Marketing which I hope to put in to place very soon. In addition, I am seriously considering using them for some online advertising campaigns next year. I highly recommend this company, particularly if you're involved in an e-commerce business.

100% Recommendation

I have been working with Web Windows for 18 months now. At first I just dipped my toe in the water with 3-4 ads to see how my advert would go down. However, due to the fantastic results this has had on my business I now place ads weekly across a variety of print publications as well as their excellent value online options. I would fully recommend Web Windows to any business looking for low cost advertising as the effect on my business has been profound.

Be Very Careful

I had been warned about this company, so checked online reviews. Based on these i ensured we did NOT pay in advance for advertising they had offered us.

Suffice to say the negative feedback was correct and we were able to stop our cheques. Advert did not get published as had been agreed, no proof supplied as agreed, in fact nothing at all until we cancelled further order. We were then told we could not cancel as 2nd advert had already been set, total nonsense...

I would avoid this company entirely or at the vert least do not make any payment until the advert has been published.

Check online for several other warnings.
