If you live (employed or not) or work in the City of Hull, East Yorkshire, North or North-East Lincolnshire, or work for selected employers further afield, you are eligible to join.
Savings Accounts - We offer easy access accounts, a Christmas Saver that locks funds safely away for festive spends, and Junior saving for the special children in your life. All FSCS protected. Encouraging people to catch a savings habit is our passion. Also save-as-you-earn through our employer partners.
Affordable Loans – if you wish to borrow (from £100 to £20,000) on fair and responsible terms, think of us. Lending decisions are made by people, not computers. We carefully assess each applicant's situation, focus on affordability and tailor repayments sensibly. Unlike many lenders, our rates are capped by law.

I applied for a loan
I applied for a loan. The response was extremely quick. I was also informed about an alternative option which made more financial sense and gratefully took that option. The dividend I received last year was more than my bank account interest. To me credit unions are a viable alternative to ISA’s, & other savings account.

A great credit union
I joined HEYCU 6 years ago and save with them directly from my employers payroll. They're always quick and responsive when you get in touch with them and you can even withdraw from your savings through their web app (money in your account the same day!). Really pleased with my experience with them.

Amazing service
Amazing service, ive been a member for years but this has to be the quickest decision and turnaround with a loan! Even easier process now you can do everything online, even the e signature. Cannot thank the staff at hull and east yorkshire credit union, 5 star service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Friendly, professional and VERY efficient
I recently applied for and was successful with a loan application. Their staff were very friendly and helpful over the phone in helping me gather all the information they needed for the application. Unbelievably efficient - I had the paperwork to sign through my letterbox the following day and funds were in my bank account 3 days later (given this was over a weekend I could not have asked for anything better!). Their service and efficiency and friendliness blow my well known mulit-national high street bank out of the water. Also nice to know I'm dealing with an ethical organisation who do an awful lot of good for people who need it the most. Thanks so much and keep up the brilliant work!
