Over the past few months, we experienced a significantly higher volume of orders than anticipated while also navigating a serious family health situation involving my wife's chemotherapy treatments. During that time, production timelines unfortunately increased as orders moved through the infusion and bottling process.

We do want to clarify that the 30–40 day notice posted on our website was a production estimate during that particular period and, unfortunately, demand continued to outpace expectations. As production conditions changed, we provided ongoing updates through our website, Facebook page, and weekly production emails explaining where orders stood in the fulfillment process.

We also respectfully note that many customers who were looking for immediate updates found phone calls to be the fastest and most reliable way to reach us. Due to the unusually high volume of emails received during this period, email responses were sometimes delayed. We repeatedly encouraged customers to call us directly for real-time order information and assistance.

However, we do want to respectfully clarify that Huckle Bee Farms is absolutely a legitimate company. We are a real family farm that has served thousands of customers over the years, and throughout this unusually difficult period we continued producing, shipping orders, and issuing refunds whenever requested.

Over the past few months, we experienced a significantly higher volume of orders than anticipated while also navigating a serious family health situation involving my wife's chemotherapy treatments. During that time, production timelines unfortunately increased as orders moved through the infusion and bottling process.

While sample sizes may seem like they should move through production faster, they still follow the same small-batch infusion and bottling process as our larger products. Unlike warehouse-style fulfillment companies, we do not pull most products from inventory shelves ready to ship.

We also consistently communicated updates regarding production timelines and delays through our website, Facebook page, and weekly production emails. Due to the unusually high volume of emails received during this period, responses were sometimes delayed. That is why we repeatedly encouraged customers to call us directly, as phone support became the fastest and most reliable way to receive assistance and order updates.

We respectfully disagree with the statement that there was "very little communication," as updates were posted regularly across multiple channels throughout this period. We understand that those updates did not change the frustration of waiting, but we made every effort to keep customers informed as timelines evolved.

However, production schedules continued changing as demand increased, and we worked to keep customers informed through our website, Facebook page, and weekly production update emails.

Regarding the phone conversation, we certainly regret if the interaction came across as rude. Our team handled an extraordinary volume of calls from understandably frustrated customers during this period, but it was never our intention to be disrespectful.

We do want to respectfully address the comments regarding our expansion efforts. The new honey barn and production improvements were not being built instead of fulfilling orders. They were being built because of the overwhelming demand that created these delays in the first place. Expanding capacity is part of the solution to preventing future backlogs, not the cause of them.
