I am writing this updated review after using MateBook X pro 2020 laptop for around a year from the date of purchase.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the battery quality which was very good during the first months of use. Now it is not last more than 3 hr for only browsing and typing and lesser than this for watching videos. I contacted Hawaii and sent my laptop for them twice! they claimed me that they has replaced the battery for me . However the problem is still persists, I contacted them to riase a complaint about this problem and they have kept me on waiting since more than two weeks , claiming they are waiting the repair reports from their repairer. I am very disappointed with this purchase. I would not recommend anyone to buy this laptop. Don't waste your money on bad quality products with bad customers services.

Huavei scrap company, scrap mate 40 pro scrap smart watch, no happy customer !

The single worst customer experience I have ever had experienced and there is no close second. If I could leave a negative I would. I had the Huawei GT2 Pro watch for literally 2 weeks and it got a scratch while I was asleep. This is supposed to be a 9H screen and I have seen people literally use screw drivers and a cheese grater on it and didn't get a scratch yet mine did. Called them up on this and let multiple emails and pictures (with complaints because they weren't getting back to me) only to be told my fault product all good. Bitter pill but whatever. next there was a charging issue and sent in onto them for fixing. Turns out the watch shouldn't have been sent to me in the first place (wasnt a UK Model) and only after months (literally and many complaints logged and being told something different every single time I called) that they were able to re-register the watch (not take it back admit their fault and give me a new one) did they send it back to me. But they didn't even fix the charging issue. Had to book in another appointment to get that sorted (took another complaint) and then that was supposedly fixed. Not once did a manager take my call and each time I asked ( I asked more than 6 times on each new call) the manager flat out said no and I was told the only way to speak to a manager is to go to their office in London. Promptly sold the watch for a fraction of what I bought it for just to get rid of having to deal with this horrible company ever again. Never ever buying anything from them again. Absolutely treated me with no respect (apart from 1 guy) and was pushed to the side so many times its scary. be warned, you may not get any customer help if it the tech needs any help.

The fingerprint reader on my P30 Pro suddenly disappeared. The phone is still under warranty so I contacted Huawei support. The only option they provide is to collect my phone, delete all data and leave me with no phone for two weeks! This is a phone manufacturer that doesn't seem to understand that it's customers are dependent on their phones for work and social interaction. When you pay many hundreds of pounds for a device it is not unreasonable to expect better support! After owning Huawei phones for many years this will be my last!

Please be aware if you're buying a Huawei tablet they no longer work with Google play store and with some places you may be told there's inbuilt security ignore that and put good antivirus in off the computers store I'm glad I did as my apvg antivirus alerted me that the Tetris. app on Huawei play store had a security issue don't know if there on Google but be aware that Huawei have very little adult colouring apps on or jigsaws or word games or themed word searches or anxiety or depression apps or journal apps. Or. mindfullness apps nor religigious apps they don't have pin interest. Or much in range of radio apps or book apps or courses online apps or Google teams which I need for my Care teams DBT therapy because of covid get a tablet that uses Google if you want value for money

Bought Huawei Nova Y60 and it's the best phone I have ever had. Great speed and mesmerizing features made me fell in love with this beast.

First I will say I am a big fan of Huawei products. Unfortunately I have T5 note pad which I have been trying to get support for. I have spent close to 2 hours with a live agent on two occasions, trying to restore from my SD card after backing up and performing a factory reset. After this effort the agent dropped the chat saying I hadn't responded in over 3 minutes it was around 30 seconds. Also the transcript option is not available. At this time I called support who I found condescending, after trying multiple suggestions they were out of ideas. They promised me they would escalate the issue to their engineers and get back to me with a fix (the same day). Needless to say they didn't, still waiting 1 week on. I need to know how to restore from my backup important files I now fear are lost. I have also tried to e-mail my complaint with no response. As I mentioned I am a big fan of Huawei products, but they will only ever be as good as the support team around them which is at best appalling.

Do not buy anything from Huawei, its just a waste of time and money, sad, I hope next year this brand will be exterminated for good.

People dont spend any money or time for this company, its not worth it

Get a huawei product if you want to be treated with rudeness by an untrained and ignorant staff. Be left with a broken phone within warranty time and being treated like a dumbass if you have concerned about losing data on your phone. Product quality is deteriorating, customer service is horrible. This is my very last huawei product, won't be surprise if this company cease to exit in a few years with such inferior product and service. My recommendation is to avoid at all cost.

The cashback promotions are scam. They demand a huge amount of information - much of which they already have, a lot of which they should never need. They will look for any excuse to drag out the cash back claim until the promo period runs out then they will reply back the day after the last date and say your claim is no longer eligible - never mind the 20 scans and photos and emails you have already sent them. They have a team working hard not to help you, but searching for any excuse ... photo too blurred, scan was too dark, bank account details missing something or in italics when it should be in bold etc etc....they ignore your replies and then they wait....they drag it on and on. Then as soon as the promo period ends they respond that they no longer need any more info (because you sent everything in triplicate) but you cannot have your cashback because the offer period has ''expired''and the promotion is ''closed'' and that your cashback is no longer ''eligible''. I spent over £4,000 on their products for myself and family members and despite submitting ALL the info and more repeatedly I couldn't get the £200 cashback that was advertised when I bought their latest laptop.

They have lost my custom for good and I hope nobody else buys anything from them.

Then of course there is the fact that you can't get any apps on their tablets and phones and they are loaded instead with garbage bloatware...

Why on earth a huge company decides to cheat and lie to customers for the sake of a few hundred pounds. Mad strategy. I think they are doing a Ratner and auto - sabotage!

Whatever....save yourself the trouble and your hard earned cash. Go for Dell, Blackberry, Apple, Samsung or any other company but NEVER be tempted to fall into Huawei's trap.

It's been a month, phone under warranty hasn't been returned. Called customer services they haven't helped in any way, very poor services no wonder Huawei is going downhill on every front.

Untrained sales personnel , they do not understand the gadgets they are selling, they are staring at it like they just saw it.

Rude , un professional staff , bullies of managers and their assistants. They do not care about customer service as long as they get your money that's it.

Devices are not user friendly and are designed to shut down soon the warranty expires ( 2years exactly)

Humiliating staff screaming at customers like cockerels, they are fit for the fish market place and not such environment !!!

Please do not deal with these guys , it seems they have blocked any manner of negative reviews on their website. It is close to impossible to post a negative review or anything underscoring them.
Their score of 4.8 is a total lie , this Store should be overhauled altogether , close it and fire these RUDE guys.
My experience was HORRIFIC and I will never enter this shop or look in that direction ever. Bloody Hell of a Store

I am considering legal redress with some of these guys who were rude to me.

Awful.
My partners phone exploded in his hand and burnt his fingers and we were asked to send it to the repair centre for inspection. Customer service told us on two separate occasions that they had booked it in for collection, we waited all day and no one showed up...turns out they hadn't even booked it in on the system!
When customer service booked it in on the system they set up for DHL to collect the phone, DHL collected the phone and now it has been left at DHL depot in Edinburgh because DHL don't usually transport devices with exploded batteries. The phone has been at DHL Edinburgh since the 3rd of March.
I have phoned customer service nearly every week, I have been told that the phone is being picked up by another courier, that they are sending out a new handset or that they will call me back with an update... No one gets back to you. It is still being dealt with by customer complaints and every time I phone the manager is not in or is in a meeting, and they never call you back.

Sent smart watch in for repair last year november 2020 they could not fix it so they offered me a replacement watch.But the watch they offered me would not take sim card standalone.Meaning that i would have to get a phone to work the watch.So it was no good for me and i would have to pay for e/sim sevice. All i had to do was to send proof of purchase and my bank details and HUAWEI had funds ready to refund me back 3MONTHS NOW still nothing !So getting help from the citizens advice and the trading standards are now aware of this Huawei company.i will not give up and i will go all the way till some thing is done.i have all proof emails texts and e/receipt.

Great phone!.....BUT....
Sent a P30 Pro for repair under warranty. It was repaired but returned to some random person. Person would not hand it back. The hassle we have had chasing, and feel like battling, Huawei/SBE has been atrocious. The amount of stress it's caused unreal. SBE/Huawei have outright lied to us and left us constantly without updates and information. It took 62 days to get a replacement. We had to threaten legal action through small claims court. I also took legal advice about breach of contract. Will never use this repair centre or buy Huawei ever again

Just a box with nice screen.
Not worth a half of the money without Google services.
Not recommend to anyone who wants to use hauvei devices.

Stay away from devices without access to Google services.
