I used HT Legal in 2013 for house purchase and was really happy with the service. So did not hesitate to reach out again for other property-related support late 2024. They were quick to provide a quotation and take upfront payment for the service, but it went downhill afterwards. Two and a half month later the transaction was completed, but it has now been 14 months that I've been waiting for completion documents to be sent. Numerous calls and emails did not lead me anywhere. Promised calls backs, updates - nothing to date. Really disappointed.

Sorely disappointing and a highly stressful experience.

We used Tony Carter of HT Legal (Hyde) for the legal contract for a bridging loan. A straightforward transaction that would usually take little more than a few weeks but this languished on desks whilst Tony was always out on "home visits" / on holiday or simply not available. Questions raised by the other party were also answered by Tony without referring back to us, giving incorrect answers to the lender's solicitor.

Whilst the lender's solicitor sent a number of unnecessary enquiries, these could have been handled quickly and efficiently (as you would expect from your legal team). We ended up calling the office every single day just trying to get the deal sewn up. Definitely the most stressful and frustrating experience I've had. We ended up having to call our building team off the job because this took so long - a huge cost to ourselves. I am just relieved the bridging wasn't for an auction property or we'd have lost a considerable deposit. Caveat emptor.

The shining star at HT Legal is the receptionist, Paul Harrison, who went above and beyond and tried desperately to help us get on track. Many thanks Paul.

Would I recommend HT Legal. Sorry but no.

Very good communication, the whole claim was well explained ! Only negative is that the claim seemed to take a long time though probably not the fault of HT legal
The important thing is that my claim was won and money transferred quickly!

Just recently purchased a house through HT Legal. Lauren dealt with our purchase and made the whole process feel straight forward from start to finish, which was much appreciated being first time buyers!
