Our specialist Mary, she was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. We never felt hurried and were able to try the chairs and was able to show us a sample of the fabric we had chosen. We were delighted with the whole experience and would certainly recommend HSL. Looking forward to the delivery and enjoy the comfort of a new chair. Thank you.

Was impressed with the Poole/ Bournemouth branch of HSL. Was served by trainee James who managed the whole purchase of what I required very well indeed. There was no pressure, all my questions he answered very clearly. I did not go into the store with the clear intention of buying but in the end purchased a reclining chair. The whole experience was very good.

This is my second purchase of chairs from HSL Bournemouth showroom.
The staff are efficient and friendly and they observe how you sit while drinking a coffee. This is important in order to acertain the correct posture for the chair of your choice.
There is no sales pressure to buy, they prefere that you go away and think about it before making a purchase.

In my opinion, Mary was a first class saleswoman. I was extremely happy with her service. I would recommend any of my friends and family going to HSL to ask for Mary.

Really welcoming, no hard sell. Good knowledge of products, deals offers. Good range of products and options. Andrea in the Poole store was excellent really listened to what we wanted and found products to suit our requirements. Would use again and highly recommend

Purchase a 2 seater and chair from HSL and was advised to take out the Gardsman protection plan which we did.
On delivery no cleaning kit,was told it would arrive in 1 week. 1 week passed no kit made phone call was promise kit will be with you within a week. No kit arrived.
Phoned yet again kit haven't been ordered but we will guarantee you will receive it ASAP and they are going to refund the kit costs.
After spending £4000 on 2 chairs lm not that concerned about a refund all l want is the cleaning kit or else the warranty is invalid.
Extremely poor service no one takes responsibility or ownership for the constant failure to supply what was sold.
My suggestion is save your money and don't take the cleaning/ protection plan.

Sales assistant was really helpful in selecting the correct fitting chair for my wife. We would recommend their excellent service.

Fantastic staff, everything clearly explained, good product range

Visited the Poole branch today to buy 2 rise and recline chairs. Mary meeted us as we entered and listened to the requirements we both needed. She then proceeded to show us all the chairs and try each one out to see whether it met our requirements. On trying all the chairs we decided on 2 Aysgarth chairs and then chose the fabric from a fantastic choice. Throughout the whole experience can't praise Mary enough for her knowledge of each of the chairs and her patience even offering tea an biscuits whilst we decided. Would definitely recommend this company and staff

First class experience. We were looked after by Mary, who was knowledgeable, helpful, professional and friendly.
She made our visit very easy, taking the time to explain everything. The complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits were a really nice touch.

Andy and Wayne did a tremendous job. Not only delivering the new furniture but also helping move the old out to the other end of the house. Excellent service.

Took delivery of my Stressless recliner chair today by Martin & Leon. Product is excellent, as were the very helpful ladies in the Poole showroom when I placed the order. Would have given 5 stars except for 2 problems PLEASE NOTE HSL HEAD OFFICE;
1) The ordering software glitch would not allow me to place an order at the time of my showroom visit (an hour from home)
2) The 16 week lead time for delivery which seems excessive.
Otherwise an excellent experience & product

Very helpful in store when we purchased our new furniture, although no one came to measure up as agreed. Delivery men, Martin and Leon were very good, especially when it came to taking off then replacing an internal door, to get the furniture in.
Unfortunately, there is a tear underneath the sofa, but HSL will be dealing with this.

Wrong size suggested and sadly rest before it arrived.
Recommended extra petite and nowhere to attach remote having broken wrist. I then had to reach all the way down to pick up the remote. It has a strong magnet so needs to be able to attach to the side and not ruin myself reaching nearly down to the floor as it is very heavy.
