From placing the order with Cheryl after her excellent advice on the type of chair best fitted for my husband, to the timescale for delivery of the order and the care shown by the delivery team from Reading the whole experience was seamless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company and my husband is very pleased with the quality and comfort of his new chair.

We went to several different shops looking for a adjustable bed for my elderly mum before we went to HSL. Then we met Simon at the Plymouth store who was really helpful kind and patient in helping us choose a bed that would suit her. He made her feel very comfortable in dealing with him. Bit of a long wait for the delivery but when it was delivered the young men who delivered and put the bed together were very nice and professional and took the time to show mum how to operate it and make sure she was happy. Overall our experience with HSL Plymouth was brilliant. Thank you for help with the purchase. From Mrs Doig.

Today my mum received her bed which was delivered by Martin & Leon and who arrived at the time they said. They were so helpful in that they moved the old bed out of bedroom as the gents coming to collect were running late.
After setting up the bed they gave mum a demonstration on how to work the remote.
They took away all the packaging. Thank you so much Martin & Leon.
Mum also had a very good experience at the Plymouth branch when purchasing the bed a few weeks ago. Unfortunately she can’t remember the lady’s name but again very helpful.

From the moment we walked into the shop in Plymouth till the chair was delivered this morning, everything was trouble free.Cheryl was excellent, we had brief conversation, and good wonder round, found the style we wanted, then the fun started with the colour choice , Cheryl and my wife pointing me in the right direction ( fuelled by good coffee and biscuits,and a lot of cheerful laughter). Excellent.

Very helpful and considerate sales people, lots of chairs to try, good information. Delivery people helpful and considerate, with a thorough tutorial for the chair. Highly recommended.

Cheryl was an absolute dream today in the Plymouth branch. In the space of an hour we had viewed, measured and ordered the perfect chair for our needs. Very friendly and zero pressure put on us. All ordered and can’t wait for it to arrive. Thank you so much!

Mon 20th October. Today we visited the Plymouth store to buy a chair for my husband and recliner sofa.what a wonderful experience. Staff so helpful and friendly. My great thanks to Sue who sorted us out brilliantly (even getting our sense of humour). Looking forward to our new furniture.

I have always wanted an HSL Chair, going back some 10 years. I never thought I could afford one. Until I walked into the HSL store in Plymouth. As I walked in with my wife, Cheryl our retail assistance was so friendly and made us feel really welcome.

She was not pushy or directing us to anything particular she gave us the space and time to look around and looking at some of the pricing which was still way out of my reach. That was until I spoke to Cheryl, (what a superstar,) she completely reassured that we can discuss affordability in simple terms rather that sales jargon.

I tried a few chairs and Cheryl was on hand to advise about posture, the difference in height and width, softness and hardness. I was really impressed, but the wife was giving me that, (oh; no here we go again look.)

I sat in the chair that fitted me best and explained when I use a cushion with my current chair my ankle hang past the foot rest. Cheryl convinced me that I would not need a cushion as the HSL Chair has lumber support and a comfortable headrest.

I was so impressed I wanted to talk figures and if I could really afford the chair of dreams. Cheryl started with the current offers, discounts and I was getting excited and was completely blown away when she said about my disability, (two full knee replacement and arthritis,) she said that would be another 20 per cent off the total price. We were hooked, lined and sinker, where do I sign my wife heard me say, and raised her eye brows to the ceiling.

My chaired arrived today and I am so overjoyed and as promised, no cushions, perfect hardness and all of my ankles rest fully on the footrest. I am 100 percent happy.

Please pass on my thanks primarily to Cheryl but also to Sue who made us feel so comfortable, during the initial sale, midway through and at the end. And thank you so much for the lovely biscuits and pen.

Our chairs were delivered today by Maltin and Leon. Arrived exactly on time, friendly guys. HSL has given a first class experience from choosing our chairs to delivering them.

We had such a brilliant experience at HSL thanks to Clare and Sue! From the moment me, my mum and my grandma walked in, they were so welcoming, funny, and understanding. They took the time to listen to what my grandma needed, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process feel enjoyable and stress-free. Their sense of humour made us feel completely at ease, and their knowledge and patience were outstanding. I left not only with the perfect chair but also with a big smile on all our faces. You don't make chairs wide enough to fit larger people. what a waste of time you're representive coming to us.

Friendly welcome by Cheryl who talked me through the range of rise & recline chairs.
She was very informative and allowed me as much time as I wanted to try a range of chairs before I made my choice and commit to purchase.
Overall very pleased with the service.

We visited your store in Plymouth as we were looking to order a bed. We were greeted with a lovely smile by a member of staff named Cheryl who was pleasant and cheerful throughout, all our questions were answered and options given whilst enjoying a coffee and biscuits.
Bearing in mind we would not have purchased a bed had we not been welcomed and treated so respectfully we feel Cheryl needs the highest of praise.
The manageress was also very charming and helpful.

Yesterday the 23rd July my wife and I awaited the delivery of a recliner chair and medical type bed and even though thy were coming from Reading and was expecting them at 12 o'clock, I received a telephone at about 9 o'clock from Raymond who said that would be with us in about 50 minutes.
Raymond and Jason were very curtious and polite, got on with the job of assembling the bed and chair, cleaned up after themselves. They are a credit to your company, in fact from day one when we had your home team visit us at our home to show us the chair and bed they also were a credit to your company, we didn't think that sort of service existed anymore.
