Buying a Fireside Chair at HSL was such a good experience. We were made to feel very welcome and the customer service was wonderful. Mimi certainly knew her subject and every detail of having a chair for one's needs was explained in detail. I am just under 5ft in height therefore a standard sized chair is not for me, super petite definitely was though.I really don't know of another company that offers such a superb service.Mimi was very professional throughout the consultation.

Visited the store in Glasgow and was served by Daniel. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, didn’t rush us and explained all of the options in detail. Very pleased with service and looking forward to getting my chair

Danny (Glasgow) was a great help choosing my chair. He advised me which chair would be best for me. A great experience and a good cup of tea as well.

From the minute we arrived at the showroom we felt very welcome. No pressure and able to look around and try different chairs. The staff were lovely and when we did need assistance Natasha was very helpful. She really made my mum feel special and was able to help her choose the best chairs for her size and mobility. The added tea and coffee definitely a grateful bonus. Definitely worth a visit

Marlene was so thorough, kind and patient, making sure mum got the bed that would best meet her needs and enhance her sleep and life. A wonderful experience.

We visited the branch at Knightscliffe Retail Park. Mimi was fantastic and we left having ordered a chair for my husband. She was very helpful, knew her job and couldn't do enough for us. I would have no hesitation recommending this store to someone

The staff were very helpful. I had the sane assistant as previous, Natasha. She explained the difference to types of chairs to be best for me.

The staff in the Glasgow showroom were very helpful and knowledgeable. They spent a long time with us to ensure we got exactly the right sofas. The delivery and assembly team were equally helpful and actually came back to the house at the end of their shift to resolve a minor issue (which was in part my fault) rather than have it referred to customer services. This prevented a delay in resolving the issue. The sofas are good quality, very comfortable and well made. I would use this company again.

Phoned the local store in Glasgow to arrange a home visit for an elderly relative. Spoke to Daniel who was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered the questions I had. Daniel and Russell visited my Aunt and fully explained the benefits of the chairs. My Aunt was very impressed with the "boys" and didn't feel any pressure on her to make a purchase. The staff were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. A purchase was made and I made a comment about them not bringing tea and biscuits as per website. The following day Daniel handed in complimentary tea and biscuits which was very thoughtful and very much appreciated by my Aunt. All in all a great experience and would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

We went to HSL in Glasgow. It was easy to find and disabled parking right outside.
Staff welcomed us in and talked us through the range of furniture available. We wanted chairs and were shown a great selection. I explained that my husband and I had different needs but we were both blue badge holders. The member of staff we saw was called Marlene. She told us about the furniture they had in the shop and explained that the chairs were all made for each individual so all of the chairs could be made in each of the fabrics.
She started letting us try some chairs before showing us some that might meet our needs better. From the minute I sat on the chair we eventually bought I knew that that was the one I wanted. It felt so supportive and comforting. I could feel my body relax into it. I have never had that experience before. My granddaughter said she could see the relief and relaxation on my face. Once we had made our decision Marlene spoke us through the process including delivery.
The service Marlene gave was outstanding but we did not feel overwhelmed by it at all. It was just right and felt very personal to us.

Marlene welcomed us in to the shop with a smile and spoke in a very friendly manner.She asked what we were looking for and offered us a coffee whilst we had a look at the chairs we were interested in. She was very knowledgeable about the chairs and answered all questions we had.She put no pressure on us to buy and left us to make up our own minds.When we decided to purchase 2 recliner chairs she gave us a very good discount which we delighted with.Marlene and her colleague Natasha could not have been more helpful and we enjoyed the experience of being in the shop and making our purchase.

Daniel gave me a warm welcome to the HSL showroom this morning at 10 o’clock and followed it up with superb service. He knew everything about the kind of recliner I wished to buy and showed me many approximations until he guided to the correct choice based on my age, height, weight, body type and my general health condition - just every detail you could think of to move gradually towards the right choice and ultimately my desire to get just the right chair at the right price. His natural authority in the matter of chairs arises from his experience of actually building them before his present position of actually selling them. So, I am very grateful for his expertise and kindness. You will be too.

Natasha was very informative when we were choosing a chair. Although the delivery of the chair to us was much delayed, Julie at customer care was helpful and responsive.

It’s a bit difficult to write anything as we are still awaiting delivery which is about 9-11 weeks but sales woman Marlene was lovely
