A great shopping experience at Formby HSL.
Had a great shopping experience at the Formby branch of HSL. Louise greeted me warmly yesterday and gave me a tour of the showroom , allowing me to try a variety of riser recliner chairs and explaining the functions of each. I was browsing for my husband who has MND and needs a chair which would give him comfort and aid him in rest and rising from it.
I returned with him this morning and asked for Louisa, who again gave us all the time and expert advice we needed to find the right model and size for my husband. I had expected him to be more reluctant to commit, but he was so delighted with the Bramham riser recliner with all the features that we bought it there and then.
The showroom is airy and inviting. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and Louisa in particular was warm and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble.
I unreservedly recommend HSL Formby

Our experience began towards the end of…
Our experience began towards the end of February with Clare in the shop in Formby. She made my husband and me extremely welcome. We were given time to try various chairs without any pressure. We placed our order and our suite was delivered by Terry and Jamie who took great care to ensure that our experience was positive. They worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently with a very pleasant manner.

Excellent chairs and service
Really pleased with our lovely new chairs and the excellent service we received from everyone who looked after us at HSL. Karen in the Formby showroom, Julie in customer service and Lee, Jamie, Alex and Tomas who delivered our chairs. Special thanks to Alex who managed to sort out a technical issue with one chair saving a call out.

The two ladies who 'man' the store in…
The two ladies who 'man' the store in Formby were super helpful. Offered refreshments while we browsed but allowed us to browse in peace unless we needed advice. Once we chose the sofa we wanted they answered all our questions clearly. We were given a brochure so we could take our time at home to make sure we were happy with our choice. We then went back to choose our fabric and again very helpful on this as there are different levels of fabric, we were also given a sample to take home. They don't have all the samples in store but could have ordered any that we might have chosen to be sent to our home so we could see it insitu. We are now awaiting the delivery of the new sofa and they also arranged for our chairs to be taken, at a price of course, but as we have no way of removing them ourselves it was a great service to have added on and it is arranged that is only the day before that they are taken so there is hardly any inconvenience. So 10 out of 10 for the customer service at the Formby branch. I would definitely recommend if you need any new furniture or beds.

Excellent staff.
The staff were very knowledgable and friendly and also really straight talking about the products with no spin. This is really helpful and means that you feel like you can trust what they are saying and selling.

Good Service
I was impressed with both members of staff (Louisa & Karen) both with their knowledge and patience. They allowed me to take my time on making a decision as to which chair to purchase.
It helped that the shop itself was a nice environment to be in.
