We visited the Cardiff store and Jade was so helpful. She is very knowledgeable about the products and gave us excellent advice. We were there for 2 hours and with Jade's help chose our new furniture 🙂

Staff were helpful,knowlegable and patient as I have reduced mobilitu.There was no pressure to buy and I had plenty of time to make my choice.I was able to try different chairs in a wide range of designs and fabrics.The only negative I have is the £75 delivery charge which I feel is excessive when spending a lot of money on a chair

Very friendly and helpful

Just had a home demonstration from HSL Cardiff showroom for my elderly mother with James and Neil,both were very helpful and knowledgeable.My mother was more than happy with the choice, James was very knowledgeable and told us everything about the materials and fabrics, great service would highly recommend.

The service my mum had at both the shop and delivery was outstanding,it couldn’t have been better .

Looking forward to seeing our chair and 2 seater when they arrive. Rob in the Cardiff branch was brilliant. He was full of knowledge very friendly. Showed us every pattern and colour. So many to choose from. I would give Rob 5 stars.

Excellent manner of your representative; measured, unhurried, friendly and explained everything clearly. Also the fact that our old (and very heavy) can be removed by people you have used already is very helpful.

Jade, the sales assistant was very patient as at the age of 89 years I really needed a chair that was comfortable as I have arthritis from the neck down and needed a lot of support. It took an hour of sitting in different chairs until I made my decision. We were offered a coffee and biscuits, thankfully received. Evelyn Harris.

The service we received from the showroom through to the delivery team was brilliant. In showroom went through different chairs to find the right one, and then plenty of fabric designs to choose from and was pleased just short of 4 weeks that chair was going to be delivered. The two guys were brilliant and went through the remote control options etc. So overall we are very impressed with the service from start to finish.

Bit of an error on the sofa order but quickly rectified and a refund given

We recently visited the Cardiff branch to purchase some Ercol furniture for a new home office project and had a great experience. James and the team were friendly, welcoming and really helpful, taking the time to talk us through the different options without any sales pressure.

Their advice made choosing the right furniture easy, and the whole experience was relaxed, professional and genuinely enjoyable. Thank you to James and the team for such excellent service, we’d happily recommend the Cardiff branch to anyone looking for quality furniture.

From the minute we went to the Cardiff store to the delivery of our furniture the service has been excellent. Jade at the store was really knowledgable and helpful explaining the variety and design of chairs to suit individual people and explaining the whole process from order to delivery. Head office kept us informed at every stage and the delivery service was excellent

The staff in Cardiff were really helpful and we had a good chance to try out their chairs before deciding which ones to go for.
The furniture is so much more comfortable than the chairs you see advertised on permanent sale on the telly. It is a good deal more expensive but so much easier on tired old backs and they have a really extensive range of fabrics to cover the furniture with.
We did have to wait about 8 weeks for delivery as they are made to order but the guys who brought them couldn't have been more helpful, they even heaved the huge old sofa out of the house for me.
All round great service that pretty well justifies the premium price.

I took my elderly parents to the Cardiff store last week. On arriving, we were warmly greeted by the staff & made to feel relaxed & welcomed.
Alan asked us what our requirements were & then explained all the options available. James provided us with teas, coffees & water whilst we looked at the chairs available. Alan was very patient with my parents & treated them with respect & dignity. They tried a few different chairs & Alan was ensuring the chairs were the right size & fit for them both.
Alan & James are a credit to HSL & really made our visit both a productive & enjoyable experience. We were there for nearly two hours & at no time did we feel rushed or pressured. I’d highly recommend this store.
