All the staff were professional, friendly and carried their roles more than competently. The pre and post operative care was extremely thorough and supportive. The clinicians are knowledgable and highly skilled. I can recommend without any reservation HQ. The staff made the whole transplant experience a pleasure.

HQ Cardiff have been an absolutely phenomenal team!! From my first initial consultation with Richard and my examination via zoom with Dr. Ted, I have felt completely at home and been given every option available. At no point did I feel pressurised into having a transplant. We decided that the best possible solution for me would be to have an FUT strip procedure taking approximately 3500 grafts. (4340 on day) and to take Finasteride and minoxidil leading up to the transplant (Now dutasteride). On the day of the procedure, I could not fault the members of the team at all right from when I was greeted at the door. Everybody was super relaxed and made me feel really comfortable and excited. The procedure was not painful at all after the local anaesthetic. There is a television in the room that plays music or a choice of Netflix. They also give you lunch with lots of treats to keep your sugars up. (Very enjoyable;)) doctor, Ted and the rest of the team are absolute stars in their own right and I highly recommend if you’re in need of a hair transplant. Lastly, the after-care service has been incredible. It’s honestly felt like I’ve stayed in touch with friends and I look forward to all my future follow-ups. The staff have a touch of class about them every step of the way. From the hotel in advance, offers of transport to and from it, food on the day, and more.

The staff were impeccable. Dr Matt was solid, explained everything well and I never once felt self conscious, or anxious about the procedure - even after the inevitable shaving of the head!

I might have had an out of body experience having never fainted in my life, but the whole time was honestly, perfect. The after care has been sound, and I was even offered a discount due to it being a quiet period.

Very professional and friendly. From the day of the surgery to the check ups afterwards, everything has been spot on. Yes it's a bit more expensive than going to Turkey but it's worth paying the extra and getting the best treatment all around. Wish I had gotten it done sooner.

Fantastic experience at HQ. I had a very professional consultation where I was made to feel comfortable and given all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I then had a great experience on the day of the surgery with Ted and the rest of the very professional team. Honestly cannot express how amazing they are. All team members are so friendly and helpful. From the initial video consultation with Xavier through toe the final appointment the service was top notch. Everything was explained in detail prior to me committing to the procedure helping me feel at ease and confident of going ahead with it.

On the Day of the operation Doctor Ted and the members of his team (apologies for not remembering all their names, the procedure itself took place in December 2021) were friendly and reassuring. The procedure went ahead with no issues and I was talked through the aftercare process.
